Weeest is extremely accomodating to everyone, making the litter drops at different times, and everything.

I'd be happy with an equal split of raffles vs fcfs so that everyone gets a fair chance at getting a pet.
We don't want to make it more of a chore than an enjoyment for Weeest, it has to be done in a way that isn't more work.

Whatever Weeest decides will be fair to everyone, I'm sure

I'm currently working on setting the competition(s) for staff positions, so they should be up and running within the next hour or two.
I've decided to move the dates along a bit, considering how many people are very busy at this time of year, so I'll stop taking applications on the 7th January. That gives everyone roughly two weeks to finish their entries.
As the competition(s) will be held in a different thread , I will post a link both here in the FC as well as on the front page of the main thread once it's up and running.

Now then, as for the releases I have thought it over. And as I might have mentioned before (I say 'might have' because I really don't remember if I already said it or not uwu) I think the idea of a weekly raffle alongside the ordinary releases is a great idea.
However, as that would probably render any event raffles a bit redundant if I were to raffle away multiple pets a week, I'd like to suggest that I only release one or two at a time - but just they're not ordinary, how about we refer to it as a 'special' raffle?

I say special because it could be any number of things. A new very rare species that is raffle-exclusive, perhaps? Or maybe something with special line edits? Since some of you have suggested mythical creatures as pets, maybe that's where they could come in as adopts.

A suggestion that I have of my own is maybe we could have several releases where effort counts. I'm sure many of us have seen how most Oekaki adoptables work, where there's often an additional requirement or two along with the usual form so that the artist may pick a winner.

Remember, nothing is set in stone just yet - I'm only throwing my own ideas out there, so you're more than welcome to give your own opinions or add something to these if you so wish =)

I think a mixture of raffles, FCFS, and short little competitions (like Oekaki adopts) would make adopting a lot more fun and fair for everyone!

Pets in the store would also help those who cannot seem to get any other adopts. You could put up a batch for purchase every now and then, giving users with more coins a chance to get a pet.
