to say teddy was shocked was an understatement. bolted to his spot, teddy could only stand around, speechless. he was happy the gob was back, but... this was all super shocking. eventually, unable to take it anymore, teddy sat down at one of the lab tables in order to calm down.

luv thought this was all fascinating. jystyr being back was something to celebrate, but they were more interested in what would happen now. would everything go back to normal? how does jystyr feel? they concluded that things would probably be answered in due time.

in all her life, starlee never thought she'd see... any of this! she tagged along simply because she was free, and she was glad she did! this would definitely wow her family back home, and she planned on writing to them as soon as she got back.

webb was probably the most confused goobie there. he'd been asleep for pretty much the whole thing, so he wasn't completely caught up to speed. he was glad that the gob was okay though.

response: Astrid was very.. shocked and confused. But mostly they wondered.. what happened to the gobbess?? She was consumed by the gob.. was she.. gone? The gobbess they and many other goobs had followed..?

response: Jordbær stared in shock at the gob.. he had returned.. and the gobess was nowhere to be seen,,, like last year's goovolution but with the roles switched...

response: Even though the danger was gone and most goobs seemed atleast well... atleast not terrified for their lives, Maur was still scared, they tried to slowly back away from the gob while other goobs stared in shock/did other things....

response: "the gob is.... truly back?" sophie thought, staring in bewilderment(?) at the gob. "has he really returned??" Even though they wanted to stop staring and try to ask other goobs what was happening, they couldnt stop staring..

rubbing the sleep from their eyes sadie tried to catch up on what had happened. they watched in awe as the gobbess was swallowed whole by the goo monster.

as soon as the gobbess appeared andriana hid behind her hands. if anything bad happened, she did not want to see it. "is it safe to look yet?" she whispered to the goo next to her when all seemed to go silent.

upon seeing jystyr reform, elowyn felt as if she could finally take a breath. all of this had been so much, but for now she was glad to see it resolved. she laid down in the grass to take a moment to comprehend recent events and watch the stars return to the sky.

"Well.. that was certainly something.." He said hesitantly with a slight awkward sigh, his eyes looking towards the Gob with confusion and a hint of hesitancy, his paws shifting as he wondered what in the world just happened.

Cookie steps back as he is handed the fallen star, happy with what he received in return for his shiny object. He couldn't help but smile to himself, realizing that his friends were actually awake and well. Hugging August from behind, he couldn't contain his excitement to be reunited with his group.

August watched in horror, eyes wide after seeing her Gobbess overlord turn to basically nothing. Although she did not pay much attention to whatever drama had gone on between the Gob and Gobbess, she had taken a liking to Fallen. Feeling someone's arms wrap around her, she stayed stiff. When she noticed who had engulfed her in a hug, she calmed down, happy it was Cookie.

Although she was forced to sleep the majority of the time they were there, Wolf was exhausted. Ready to go home, she kept on glancing towards Peri. Seeing as her partner-in-crime made her way outside, she decided to follow.

Tired after all that has gone on since she has awoken, Peri stepped outside, passing other stargazing goobies. Finding the perfect spot on the deck, she looked up at the stars in awe. Wolf's arm wrapped around her waist in a friendly manner, head resting on her shoulder as she glanced up towards the stars.

choice: Returning home...
response: Davey Jones watches the sceneplay out, both brows raised. His tentacles idly flick, as he leans against a nearby wall. It was always an interesting time whenever the gob and gobbess met, and this was no exception. Although as he hears about the lost goo creatures in the stars only created to be eaten he makes a slight face. Way to go gobbess, as though people could like you less.

He had to fight back a sharp smile as the gobbess had karma come at her near instantly. It was terrifying. Absolutely terrifying, even to a minor gob. He sighed out. He had enough of this. It was time to come home, he remembered why he always found the surface world so awkward. It had once been his, before he became a demigob. Before he had been betrayed. Before... hmm. It always brought back those memories. So he did not spare those gathered or Jystyr another glance as he slipped back into the waters. Towards his cavern. And before he could even do a thing he found himself wrapped up in a hug by three goobies.

"I didn't even do anything," he protested, but even as he told the story the hugs continued.

"You braved the surface for us," the Queen spoke. "You have my eternal gratitude."

"Now cut that out! So sentimental! Ya gonna ruin my reputation!"

Grim watched everything unfold, horrified, perplexed, relieved. As he did he brought his two companions closer to him, as close as he could. Now all three were crying together, from pent up stress and relief. And as they all had their moment, Grim sighed out. "Let us all hope our next adventure is not quite so chaotic yeah?"

response: "Yeah," Sunny replied to Grim. And once things had settled, there was one more thing she wanted to do. She walked up to the gob standing there, and offered a gentle smile. "I know what happened today... you did not mean to do any of it. It was an accident. So just no, it's okay. We know you care about us, even if you may not be who you were before. And... thank you for that. If you didn't care..." She shudders to think.

response: "If they didn't care we'd all be goob food by now," Chase grumbled. "How many planets are out there anyways? We need to form a space team to recover our lost bretheren? I mean, if they're goo, they're kinda related to us. What do they even look like? Do they have whole civilizations and cultures like we do? Hmmm..."

choice: A Single Tear; Regret, Sorrow, What Now?

Billie watches the events unfold with unconcealed and evolving emotions, from confusion to shock and understanding, fear, sorrow, and finally regret. Watching the gobbess be consumed and transformed with the gob tore at her chest with inky iron claws. "I wish we never handed over those items, we've made things worse!" Billie wails into the silence, Crendor trying and failing to comfort the increasing hysterics from the agel. Billie pushes into Crendor, seeking comfort from his presence. "What do we do, Cren? What CAN we do?" She noticed Crendor did not respond, but felt him shift so he could wrap his forelegs around her in a hug. Billie buried her face into his mane, letting the waves loss and uncertainty wash through her in shivers. Every glance up was a reminder of what they had done.

choice: An Imploring Look; Fear, Uncertainty, What Now?

Crendor holds onto Billie as if she too might transform at any moment. He strokes at her long and sleep-mussed hair in what he hopes was a comforting way, despite his fear and uncertainty at what they had just bore witness to. What was that? He glances around to ascertain what the others around him might be feeling and thinking. He saw his similar emotions swirling in the eyes and goo of many of them and was calmed by it; at least he wasn't alone. Looking back at the transformed gob, not taking his eyes off of it. What would it do next? Were they all still in danger? Should they run?? His muscles tensed at this thought, ready to grab Billie at a moment's notice, and he stared down the gob, watching and waiting for any sign of retalliation, but it never came.

goob: Charlotte
choice: A Million Questions; Curious, Investigative, What Now?

Charlotte jumped to her paws, eyes wide in wonder and curiosity. "HUBBAWHA???" she flustered and babbled for a bit with those around her. WHAT was THAT?? Whatever it was, things seemed back to normal, but HOW?? Charlotte bounced in place, a million and one questions racing through her brain, wanting to ask anything and everything. What happened, and how? Is this a known thing to happen in goobie history, or did they just witness the turning point of history themselves? What happened to the gobbess? Is she still in there? Is this the same gob(s) and both in there, or is this a whole new being? The lack of all memories leads Charlotte's theory-driven mind down so many paths, with no answers and more questions every moment. She bounds forward with a couple other goobies to bombard the probably tired gob, imploring him to respond with any manner of idea of what he just did and what he expects from them now with these revelations. What did he expect from them now?

Charlotte was left with a silent stare.

choice: What???; Angry, Skeptical, What Now?

Elm sat down in a huff after the event he just witnessed. The gobess and gob becoming one? What was their angle? Was that intentional? Is the gob planning something nefarious? Elm does not trust this one bit; he had never placed all his goo in the corner of the gobs, and he wasn't about to start now. Brow furrowed, he all but glared at the gob, who seemed to either not notice or not care. "What is his angle? What could he possibly expect now from this display they've pulled?" he finds himself muttering aloud, getting confused and fearful glances from a couple goobies around him. Distrust filled his chest, taking root quick. He wouldn't voice his concerns here and now. Watching the few go up to the gob and the many do nothing, he silently gets to his paws and slips out. Surely word needed to be spread about what happened here, and he would be one of the first to make sure the story was not muddled.
