Tell me a bit about your pot!: oh dear, it appears this pot has been severely overwatered and it's not in good condition. whatever was planted is certainly not viable now, but the excess water seems to have caused some button mushrooms to appear. at least they're edible!

This time, a different werm approached the chest. He carried a small stack of flowers in his mouth, abruptly halting a few feet away as he peered at the strange contraption. It seemed to be... alive. And not only that-- it seemed to be hungrily watching him, despite it lacking eyes. Its mouth was drooling, tongue reaching out to taste him.

"Aha. Is this some sort of ploy?" he muttered, muffled by the flowers. He hadn't been told about this detail. The dragon-like werm unceremoniously dropped the stack and kicked it forward with his foot, bracing to leap away in case the chest went haywire. He peered at Vedaris, eyes slits. "Is this thing going to eat me? Did you do something to it?"
