Do you have a concept for a legendary design already? I’m not sure exactly what I’d want to do, but I definitely would like to have some sort of nature spirit-y kind of design! I’m thinking that I would make it based on a place near and dear to my heart, so it would include gems on the back, and be very mountain-y and summer-y (think mountain summer vacation). The color palette would likely be lots of greens and some blue and gold, with trees and rivers inspiring the body design. For the gemstones, they’d be gold nuggets or golden crystals! I would also give them gold blood, maybe some sort of glow, reverse munchkinism, and maybe deer antlers to match the mountain aesthetic. Their pupils would be 10 pointed stars, and maybe their face would be the beautiful mountain sky at night (glowing star freckles?!). Thank you for listening to me rambling ahaha.

How do you usually develop your kalons? This sounds kind of pathetic, but I lowkey just stare at the kalon until I come up with a seed of an idea about them. Then, I expand their personality based on that one idea (ex. they’re a teacher). I’d ask myself, "How do they respond to a student that is misbehaving? What is their favorite subject to teach? Do they like their job?" and use the answers to those questions to come up with a framework for their personality. Then, I’ll write it all down and search for relationships of all kinds!

Tell me something about your favorite kalon: My favorite kalon is definitely the one in my signature, Lily! They were a pride month design, and modeled after the bi flag, which is my own sexuality, so that made me excited! The idea I came up with for them is just really fun and unique, and I had a ton of fun developing them. They’re a florist/plant nursery owner that genetically engineers special flowers to sell in their shop! They’re passionate about helping the bees, so a lot of their flowers are made for that purpose.

What is something you like about the community? I love how supportive everyone is of everyone else! Everyone here is so kind, and I always really enjoy developing my kalons with y’all. You make my characters come to life, and I love seeing all of your own characters! Everyone here is truly talented <3
