Filetail's Friendship Hunt approaches its second day, and this time you decide to mingle in the crowd, eager to make another friend. While being pushed around, you think to yourself "this crowd is no smaller than a gathering's", and on those words, finally find a spot to stand comfortably in, and then... you accidentally step on somecat's tail. Obviously, you apologize immediately, but seem to find yourself... exchanging apologies with the timid cat whose tail you stepped on. "I'm sorry!" You are now confused. Weren't you the cat who stepped on their tail? You tell them not to apologize, and instead strike up a conversation. The timid cat ends up being a pretty good conversation partner, sharing their own stories and enjoying yours. "Hehe... okay, okay, I've got a question for you! If you had one wish, what would you wish for?"

Answer to prompt: my greatest wish at the moment would probably be a guaranteed acceptance into vet school. i am currently in the process of applying as i am entering my senior year of undergraduate schooling, and i've worked so hard to get here. however, it is extremely competitive. regardless of how hard i worked, and how good my resume is, there are thousands of others who look just like me on paper. i've found ways to set myself apart, but i don't know if it will be enough. that's my single greatest wish currently, as attending vet school has been my dream since i was little. all i want is to become a veterinarian who works with wildlife, zoos, and conservation.

I'd like to think that if I got one wish I'd use it on something selfless, like "world peace" or "everyone gets the body they'd most be comfortable with" (and that second one is likely, if there was actually magic involved) but more realistically my one wish is and has always been to be one of those people that finds something paeleontologically or archaeologically significant while on a stroll down the beach or digging in the garden. This has been my dream since I was a little kid and heard that there were still Roman and Celtic coins to be discovered, and likely will be every time I dig anywhere ever.
