thank you all for the suggestions! i've decided to name the adopt center "critter cove", as i'm a sucker for alliteration.

1] lemmits "lemms" (thank you FateStoryteller)
2] banderfloof (thank you FateStoryteller - changed slightly)
3] antameleon "ants" ( thank you ThousandSounds - shortened for simplicity)
4] bastuks

I am guilty haha. I thought of that too, but they were originally meant to be more bug-like, hence the antennae. I imagine that whoever named them in-lore discovered a baby as mistook it as a bug. At least, that will be my defense.

if it's a missing limb due to an injury/birth defect, it would be non-rarity. if it's a missing limb due to something genetic (which would have the chance to pass down if breeding is ever a thing), then it'd be legendary.
