Entry: Lily was happy to help Meyer and Barry, so she followed the group to the bakery. She smiled and waved at Barry when he greeted everyone, and accepted a gookie eagerly when they were passed out to the group. Lily loved desserts! She tried the gookie while waiting her turn to introduce herself. While the gookies were very by the books, she could tell Barry had put a lot of effort into them. She could tell there was a lot of potential to his baking ability, and she wanted to encourage him to keep trying!
When her turn to introduce herself arrived, Lily smiled and said, "Hi, my name is Lily! It is very nice to meet you!" She nodded at the plate that had held the gookies and continued, "I can tell you worked really hard to make sure you followed all the steps very precisely! You are doing great, but don't be afraid to change things up a bit sometimes too! Making some changes here and there to really make a recipe your own can lead to some really unique and delicious outcomes! As long as you are having fun, I am sure everyone will enjoy them! And I am happy to help out if you want!"

raindrops, neptune, and talia eagerly approached barry and meyer. they couldn’t contain their excitement, and quickly began introducing themselves. at first, they all began speaking in unison, but swiftly decided to take turns. the smallest goob of the trio, raindrops, slowly raised their head as they struggled to see over the countertop which was way too tall for them.

“hi!” they eventually said. “i’m raindrops, and i like baking treats at my cottage! i hope i can learn something or help others learn something,” the agel added while neptune pulled over a chair for them. grateful for their friend’s kindness, they nodded to him to share his introduction.

though confused for a moment, neptune eventually grasped raindrops’s gesture. “hello!! my name is neptune,” he said with a smile and a wave. “and i’m down to taste test anything!” neptune glanced towards the gookies, eager to try some. though, he decided to wait. “it’s your turn now, talia!”

talia shyly looked up towards neptune, then slowly looked around at meyer, barry, and the rest of the volunteers. “oh, uh- hi, i’m talia,” she softly said as she adjusted her crown. “and i think baking is cool,” she mentioned before shifting her eyes towards the plate of gookies. taking one, she gently took a bite, making sure not to make a mess.

in her opinion, she didn’t mind them. sure, they weren’t the worst gookies she’s had, but they could certainly be better. “i think that you did your best, and that’s what counts!” she took another bite before continuing, trying to avoid talking for as long as possible. “i think that there’s always room to improve and make them even tastier.” stepping back, she looked at barry and smiled in hopes that it was clear she was being genuine and that she had no intention to hurt his feelings.

Fayette took the gookie without any hesitation, well she took a piece of it because she's so small. "Hi! I'm Fayette, a local fae where I live! My partners will be showing up soon but they had to deal with a plant emergency! I just hope that Sunny stops accidentally walking into the living ferns again..." Fayette takes a bite of the piece of gookie. "Hmm! Not too bad! It just needs some wild dandelions or hmm maybe some fiddleheads to go along with it...?" She says with a calm demeanor, not realizing the other goobies looked confused.

Entry: With such large amount of goobies in a closed space such as a bakery kitchen made you feel kinda cramped. And awkward. You fold your wings tightly to yourself in a desperate try to knock anything over or touch anyone else. You shudder.

But!

Oh but this! This was were masterpieces were created! As an artist you have a knack for recognizing these kind of places, it is a bakery of course they might be as different as night and day if you consider that art can only be made in a studio or some place similar.

All lies! Everything has little of art in it, even food! (Even if you do not care much for sweets.)

As you bulldoze through the awkwardness of introducing yourself (you're sure you introduced yourself... Maybe... That's not important! What's important is art!), you give a lenghty dramatic spiel about art and what kinds of things you could with food, complete with gestures and demonstrations, unaware that you have started to knock everything over with your wings and your height- (which was THE ONE you wanted to avoid, oh well!)

You get offered a cookie. You eat the cookie.

In your ramblings you barely notice the taste (And probably chew with your mouth open, what an appalling lack of manners! Your king would be so disappointed in you but he is not here is he.). Perhaps is for the best.

Wolf took a bite of the misshapen gookie, a few crumbs being left at the corners of her mouth. Barry stared at her, eyes glimmering with hope of a positive response. Wolf didn't know how to break it to him, it wasn't the worst gookie she has ever had, but it was far from the best. She didn't want to hurt his feelings on his baking so she flashed him a quick smile alongside a thumbs up. Yve was handed a gookie from the same platter, Yve taking a big plentiful bite, her eyes opening wide instantly. 'Was it that bad?' Barry thought, hoping it was the opposite of his thoughts. "This is really yummy Barry!!! If you have any extras would you mind if i took some back to Brookstowne with me? I'm sure the people in town would love them!" Yve said, her mouth still filled with partially chewed gookie pieces, grateful for the baked treat.

Barry found himself both impressed and a bit overwhelmed with the turnout. Failsafe's entrance does not go unnoticed as Barry offers them a wave and a thanks. At Longboi's question Barry held up a recipe book. "This one! Followed it exactly so as not to make any mistakes! I know the book is a touch outdated but surely tastebuds haven't changed that much right?" Seeing Hop then Barry peered down and waved cheerfully.

"Oh thank you! We're glad to have you," he reassured. "I'll be glad to teach you!" Caly meanwhile ears a soft blink. "Dull? I mean they are by the book and... is it really that bad?" Barry asks. At the latter order Meyer gives a soft salute.

"Coming right up!" She replies and moments later emerges with Caly's order. "Here you go, warm and fresh!"

Barry meanwhile looks towards Cameron grateful. "Any advice you give I'd be happy to take," he reassures. "I know these need a bit of... polish." As if to illustrate this Mayhem offers Barry one to try, which he does. He looks towards xem then and exhales out. "I... think I get it," he admits with a slight grimace.

"Never fret, with everyone here we can help you make something you can be proud of!" Meyer reassures. "I know you can do it Barry!"

Maur meanwhile enters, earning a wave. "Thank you, I am going to do my best!" He reassures. Even if, at the moment, he was not sure what his best even was. Sadie meanwhile gets a nod as well. "Presentation huh?" he asks. Lily gets a relieved smile, as Barry looks encouraged from her kind words. Meanwhile three more enter, all getting waves and introductions as well.Talia gets a nod, as Barry takes in her words as well.

Pysanka earns a soft sheepish smile for their... blunt choice of words. "Are they at least slightly flavored cardboard?" he asks. At the emntion of wild plants Barry blinked. "I... admittedly have no idea what those taste like," he tells Fayette. Fukura earns a nod, although thankfully for everyone no words were exchanged. Juniper gets an encouraging look, as Cocoa checks in on the group and cannot help but get a soft chuckle from it all. Hestia earns the same questions Fayette did, while Wolf and Yve get encouraging thanks!

As Meyer had to go take care of a few tables, Cocoa strikes in with a broad smile. "Now look at all of these helpers, amazing! But if you lot are gonna be in the kitchen, you've got to look the part!" She winks, opening up a nearby pantry that contains baking attire and accessories of all sorts. "Show me your best!"

Cocoa has asked your goobies to look the part of the baker! How do they dress? Do they go all out or not dress up at all? Anything goes!
