Icarus decided to accept the mission from the frantic Oshawott, using his wings to fly and search for the Dartrix. Flying above the drenched bluffs, Icarus scanned the cliffs listening in for any sound of the missing bird pokemon. Becoming a bit lost in his worrisome thoughts the goomy soared for close to an hour before finding feathers from the Dartrix. “There must have been a fight, I can see a few claw marks too... I hope they’re okay.” He said to himself before getting the feeling he was being watched. “What the, ah!” He screamed before being caught in a woven net of vines from a dark cloaked figure. “Why are you after me!” The figure yelled before pulling the hood down before revealing themself to be the missing Dartrix. “Oshawott sent me!” Icarus yelled panicking a little until he was released. After a short talk it was discovered that the Dartix was being chased by a group of evil pokemon and attacked. They fought off their attacker successfully before hiding out due to a wing injury. Being throng enough, Icarus flew them home, returning to the guild and taking a long nap with Axton because of the exhaustion. 
Leaving the Archipelago Axton and Icarus left their guild in the care of a strong local Pokémon, having to travel a while by boat to find the blizzard island to the north ruled by a mysterious legendary Pokémon which caused constant snow storms despite the tropical heat of the nearby islands. Icarus’s goomy body not taking well to the frigid cold, he clung to Axton’s fluffy neck and tail as he was carried through the snow. “I see it!” He said as he pointed with his shivering wing, Axton moving through the snow slowly before finding the Pecha scarf. Once home, they slept for a few days, Icarus was completely bedridden with a terrible cold. Luckily Axton stayed healthy, his fur helping him a bit in the harsh cold of the island. Noodles wordlessly cut them off by producing a pair of binoculars from her bag and shoving them under Oodles' nose. Or... where their nose would be if they had one.
For a moment the Shellos simply stood there stared as the remainder of their complaint died on their tongue. Then, grudgingly, they shut their yap with a dull thud and grabbed the proffered item. "Fine. But I still don't see how we're supposed to do this."
"Slowly, patiently, and - ideally - silently."
Oodles glared pointedly at their mother. When she failed to do anything other than lift the binoculars and commence scanning the canopy, they rolled their eyes and moved off to do the same without further arguement. There was silence between them for nearly half an hour. They merely occupied themselves with searching the bluff where their quarry had last been seen. And believe-you-me - there was plenty of bluff to search!
Finally, after what seemed like forever, Oodles heard a noise in the bushes off to their right, near the foot of the bluff. "Hulllo?" They moved forward cautiously, extending a stubby limb to pull back the greenery blocking their view. "Anyone there?"
"Yes! Oh YES! Gah!"
The Dartrix before them was entangled in a human-set snare and barely able to move. The sight made Oodles' heart skip a beat. "Are... are you.. OK? I mean, other than the obvious, of course."
"Yeah, I think. Just thirsty.... Been calling for hours and my throat's gone dry. I'd just about given up when you came along!"
Oodles frowned. "If you've been calling, why didn't we hear you?"
The Dartrix rolled his eyes, then made a pathetic attempt to get to his feet which ended with him flopping back into the dust and sending up a great cloud which caused Oodles to take a step backward and raise their scarf to shield their face. When the dust had settled and the Dartrix was able to stop sneezing, he peered up at the Shellos with obvious frustration.. "How the heck am I supposed to know?! Just get me outta this! Before whatever packer left this thing comes back to collect!"
Filled with a renewed sense of urgency, Oodles shouted to attract their mother's attention. When she arrived, the pair helped the Dartrix to stand as best as he could, then, between them, more or less carried the bedraggled creature back to town where a Pokemon with actual fingers was able to complete the untangling and free him at last.
.....It was early spring, though you'd never guess it from the blizzard which squalled outside - drifts of snow were piled high against the wagon which served as the Hodgepodge Gang's home away-from-home, and every time the wind gusted, Oodles' tiny candle guttered dangerously. They'd already had to stop what they were doing three times to relight it. Needless to say, this was both frustrating AND hard on their limited supply of matches. Though there wasn't much they could do. The Gang's wagon simply hadn't been designed for bad weather! There were gaps between several of the boards wide enough to get your fingers though... If you had fingers, that was. Oodles didn't. Though it didn't stop them from poking yet another blanket into yet another gap in a feeble effort to keep out the worst of the wind. It didn't help much. - the biting cold still nibbled away at their body - but at least the candle had stopped threatening to go out.
Satisfied, Oodles returned to the task which had brought them out into this foul weather alone. Namely... rummaging through the Gang's costume trunk. They SHOULD have been back in the nearby village, safe and warm in the home of a kind host, curled up and asleep beside their mother. Instead, they were freezing their butt off while searching desperately for a Pecha Scarf they'd seen only yesterday. It HAD to be in here somewhere! Oodles very badly wanted to present it to the Gliscor who'd opened his home to them for the duration of the storm! Oodles had gotten it from their old trainer, and didn't wear it at all any more, though they knew their mother would frown on their giving it away. It was one of the last links they still had to their old life. Thus, they'd come out in the middle of the night to fetch it before Noodles could object. It seemed silly to Oodles that the scarf should lie unused and unwanted in their wagon when someone who badly wanted it - and could use it - went without.
""Where the heck IS it...?!" Oodles had just about gotten to the bottom of the costume trunk. Everything they'd taken out so far lay in an untidy heap around them. "It was just... AHHA! There!" Just as they were beginning to fear that they'd been wrong abou tseeing it in the trunk, they pulled aside a dusty old belll-cap and caught sight of the scarf. "Perfect!" Now all they had to do was get back to the village in one piece and give the scarf to the Gliscor without Noodles knowing.
Easy-peasy!
