Mkay, so to start you mentioned that there are domesticated PCs. Domestication usually changes physical characteristics of a species, so perhaps making split legendary trees for the two? You mentioned some things in the comp like horns, etc. those could be a domesticated or non-domesticated tree. Alternatively, if you want to reserve those characteristics for rarer evolutions, then perhaps the domesticated cats have an extra or a missing portal?
Also, if you want to do the split legendary trees, the domesticated PCs could have a breeding option while the wild ones don't. Just a thought.
the differences in legendaries could be explained by the difference in the strength of connection that they have to their other worlds, and the aspects that shine through for them could be based on the world's they're connected to. It'd be interesting if the worlds they're connected to became a part of their nursery stage imo.
