Breeding isn't open, no. And there aren't any "real genders" when it comes to breeding. It's all done through magic, lore-wise, so Cherub Cats of any "gender" can breed.

You pay 100 Halos for the Cherub Cat build
You can get unlimited very uncommon traits but you have to pay 40 for each one you want on there.
