Kyrinn Dragomir was born the third oldest in a family
of five. Eventually, many of her family members have
died, leaving her with just her eldest brother. Both
her mother and her father have passed away a few
years ago from a wild dinosaur attack. Knowing that
her parents died this way hasn't stopped her from
trying to tame a wild dino of her very own.::
Kyrinn is very close to the dinosaur, moving quietly, her tribes' men have captured
him and tied his mouth tightly, he is standing, but has ropes attached to his feet
and it in a wooden fenced pen. She feels sorry for this dinosaur to be treated this
way, though she knows that he is supposed to go to one of the richest young men
in her tribe, she feels the need to see this dinosaur for herself, though her bother
has told her to stay away, knowing her all to well that she will try and help any
creature in trouble. She opens the gate, looking up at the beast, he lets out a
sort of growly whimper and sort of yips. He lowers his head as Kyrinn moves
closer to him, when she gets within ten feet of the creature, he growls and hisses,
when he brings a breath in, it is raged as the ropes around his muzzle are cutting
into his nose. She speaks to him softly, not backing down and moving closer to
him, she lifts her hand and the beast quiets. She moves even closer to him, knowing
she is in complete danger if this creature were to spook. She sets her hand on his
forehead, and his chest rumbles. She feels the fur under her hand and she smiles
at its softness.
Hyldon, come here, please." Kyrinn looked at her dinosaur, "its okay, I promise."
The dinosaur just looked at her and let out a loud bellow, it was sad and frightened,
but Hyldon came closer to her and he lowered his head and nuzzled her, his bridle's
reins hung down, almost to his feet. Kyrinn grabbed them as she pet his furry face.
She sighed, "I promise it will be okay." She dropped his reins, picked up the saddle
and went to grab a handful of hair at the base of his tail and she pulled herself up.
Hyldon turned his head to watch her, this was her third attempt at putting the
saddle on him just today, she set the saddle high on his back, over his front shoulders.
She jumped down and scratched his side, "good boy." She moved around to his front
and pulled the chest strap around to his other side and strapped it to his saddle. She
scratched his chest and he rumbled in happiness at his reward. She walked under him,
taking both cinches to strap them tight around his belly. She backed away from him
and grinned at her handiwork. "Your such a good boy, i'm so proud of you." she told
him and he walked over to her, slightly awkwardly from the new thing on his back.
