Hello, and welcome to my character archives!
This is mainly for my own use, so please do not post.
This is the home of Crooked Creek Kennels and Stables for my equid and canine species, doubling along the sanctuary for all others.

Kiraki

Fennex Name: Kiraki (Key-ra-kai)
Age: 8 Years
Gender: Male

Personality
Kiraki is more than he seems. He is very determined at anything he does, and can be stubborn because of it. But he is definitely to have his guts. Lucky for any around him, his determination doesn't stretch into aggression. He's often very calm about things, but is emotional. Kiraki tries not to cry when he is ready too, but rather tries to hold it in and seem tougher than he is.
History
Kiraki was born to a happy mother and father. His father was not the strongest, but certainly helped Kiraki's prosperity. His mother also stayed close to his heart, but when he grew up he was devastated to leave. But he had made the choice, and left his mother and father to start a life of his own. Never able to compete with a dominate male, Suraba caught his eye and his heart, and there was no competition in his way. He quickly made friends with her, and travels around Australia at her side.
Relationships
Kiraki loves Suraba. He first met her in his troop, when she had been passing through. He instantly put her as his goal, and has a serious crush on her. But he always fails to impress her over Billabong, and despite his annoyance for him, he makes sure to leave him alone.

Fennex name: Suraba
Gender: Female
Age: 4 years

Personality
Suraba is a more solitary fennex, used to living with little or no one. She is often oblivious to what is going on outside of her and Billabong. But she is alert in terms of survival. Suraba is also very resourceful and adaptable. However, she also has a habit of driving others away.
History
Suraba has a sad past that has led to her own hardiness. Her mother and father were both happy fennex, living in a large and healthy sized troop. But after her father was driven away by injury from another male, her mother tried to follow along. However, she was killed by dingos at night, and Suraba was left to run off and fend for herself. Fairly young, her memory isn't the best of the situation, but the death of her mother still haunts her. Eventually finding her way to a billabong, she met a star toroise, silent and seemingly alone. Suraba and her new friend came to each others arms, and they have lived with each other since, mainly moving as nomads relying on themselves. One day though, Suraba met another lonely fennex, and fell in love. She stayed with the fennex, until it deserted her. Only then did she discover she was pregnant.
Relationships
Suraba has a deep bond with Billabong, as he does with her. He can't speak, but she understands him anyway. They are practically brother and sister. But ever since the arrival of Kiraki, she has felt slightly less lonely, and more like a fennex. But she doesn't show that much attention for Kiraki, and doesn't much care for him. But she sees that Bonger(Billabong) seems to enjoy Kiraki's company. Before him, Suraba secretly loved someone else, but only Bonger knows.

Personality
Tory is a competitive fennex, driven to power. But he isn't a maniac who is so power-hungry they cause havoc. He's actuallu very careful and calculated. But he's not the brightest. Some might call him 'popular' overall. He is strong, but for size he isn't. He's bigger than many of the other male competitors, and tries hard. So far, he has held dominate position over 2 troops, and is currently strong on his second.
History
Tory doesn't know his true parents, but he does know one. The mother whom he grew up with, Crissa, wasn't his biological mother, and he doesn't know his biological father. He was raised alongside one of Crissa's true children, and had a healthy first few months. Once he grew up, slight dislike for his sister caused issues, so Crissa drove him away to fend on his own. He quickly became a bachelor, and found his way to the right troop. He was beaten by another fennex, his arm strained, but after it healed he was able to seize another troop.
Relationships
Tory still loves his sister and Crissa, but he keeps away from them. He has many friends among the troop, and a best friend who always stands by his side. Of course, he always has a female that catches his eye, and has his daily struggles in the troop for anyone.

Personality
Maku is a very energetic kietta. He is very playful in the mean time but easy-going. He can be aggressive around other racing kietta's, but is playful with dogs. He loves to eat and tear anything up. Maku can be slightly arrogant around others, but sometimes it's simply a matter of self-confidence and perseverance.
History
Maku was born to a breeder, with a healthy mother and father. He was bred for racing, but wasn't ever the best. Neither eldest nor runt, he did fine around his littermates. But when everyone was being sold off for their future in racing or companionship, Maku was left behind due to his rowdiness. Eventually, he was bought by a hopeful owner, and slowly found his racing ability and niches.
Relationships
Maku has strong ties to his companion, but is fairly lonely around the house. When he gets the chance, he loves to play with the ferret, and dogs. There is another kietta male who wins the title of best friend. They don't see each other often sadly, both are racers. But he also sees a kietta in the area whom he has made playmates with.

Ripcurl

Personality
He's a very quiet, mature viscet. He makes friends easily, but struggles to make them stay. Ripcurl is very serious when he wants to achieve something, and friendships don't usually make the list. He can be fun-loving, but doesn't always make it so visible.
History
Ripcurl was born on a sandy seashore, nestled into the rocks where his egg was bathed by the tide. He still loves the sea, and visits it whenever he can. Ripcurl's skill in swimming may not be the best, but he is the greatest viscet sand castle builder you will find. He takes pride in his sand art, but certainly doesn't appreciate someone knocking it over.
Relationships
He feels like it is his job to mentor Savilik's boisterous behavior and to keep her in check. She might be his one true friend. Even when he doesn't want her around, the two are usually found together. Sukar is his best friend, even though Sukar himself may not think so. He may not always appreciate the viscet's dull mood, but being around him often give Ripcurl hope to do more, and to impress his friend. He is currently unaware that Kaya likes him, but simply wants her to be his friend. He never seems to get the hints she leaves, and doesn't show much response to her flirting.
