Unfortunately, I didn’t reserve enough posts in the Unbound Essence event thread to host future events there. This thread will now serve as the main space for all upcoming events that require more than one post on the main page.
I hope you’ll enjoy the events that will appear here and that they’ll add a bit more variety to the world of Alchemites!
Leshy, Dread of the Woods
─── ⋆⋅✧⋅⋆ ───
The source of the recent magical anomalies has finally been identified. Following the events in Lumin Meadows, a group of brave alchemists and their Alchemites had the unfortunate opportunity to witness it firsthand.
A Leshy has appeared within Whispering Forest - a mysterious entity born from unknown, chaotic magic.
Very little is known about these beings. Ancient records mention them only rarely, and each documented Leshy seemed to be bound to a unique form of magic. Their origins remain unknown, as does their purpose - let alone any reliable method of driving them away or defeating them.
For now, only one thing is certain: the Leshy haunting Whispering Forest is highly aggressive, attacking any creature it encounters without clear reason. Fortunately, its territory appears to be confined within the forest… at least for now.
─── ⋆⋅✧⋅⋆ ───
One thing, however, is beyond doubt - the Leshy cannot be allowed to roam freely.
Participants will be faced with a choice: to confront the creature directly and attempt to destroy it, or capture and study it in hopes of understanding its nature… Or perhaps discover another path entirely.

Further stages of the event will be gradually revealed as enough Field Notes are gathered during exploration in Lumin Meadows or through event activities.

First Brewing Ritual preparations pt1
Unlocks at: 25 Field Notes collected.
Thanks to the Field Notes gathered so far, the first theories regarding the Leshy are slowly beginning to take shape. A decision has not yet been made as to which preparations and tactics will be best during the inevitable confrontation, but thanks to your contribution, scientists have been able to identify several key clues.
The remains collected from Leshy's fiends will be used during the upcoming Brewing Ritual, which should help in creating Alchemites resistant to his curses. However, this may result in the emergence of a new, unknown type of Leshy influence, which no one is able to predict at this moment.
One thing is certain: reagents combined with two specific elements will have the strongest impact on the results: Essence - Fire and Essence - Nature. Therefore, focusing on gathering these ingredients should be our priority now.
─── ⋆⋅✧⋅⋆ ───
Leshy’s Influence
unlocked by Andromeda + 342336
The Leshy’s aura constantly lingers in the air, drowning out everything else. It is clearly too powerful to be suppressed in any way, so it will not be susceptible to the Influence Breaker in the slightest.
Since the source of other Influences is primordial, they should be capable of being summoned during the Brewing Ritual; however, at this moment, we are unable to predict what might happen when they merge with the Leshy’s aura...
─── ⋆⋅✧⋅⋆ ───
Influences
unlocked by YooRei + 619389
Our scientists claim that other Influences will behave very chaotically while the Leshy Influence is active. The transitions between their states can be very violent, so they recommend using influence reagents with extreme caution.
Furthermore, the Leshy Influence has a chance to randomly absorb the power of other Influences, completely deactivating them and consuming their strength. There is a significant risk that once its power crosses a certain threshold, the resulting Alchemites might be... in the worst-case scenario, rebellious...
─── ⋆⋅✧⋅⋆ ───
Brewing Ritual
unlocked by whatthevoid + 1141293
Leshy's Influence will also affect the coloration of the resulting Alchemites - achieving bright, vibrant colors will be nearly impossible, so the amount of dyes added will be strictly limited to leave as much room as possible in the cauldrons for reagents.
We suspect that the strongest and most dominant element will be the essence of nature - as a result, the chance of bonding with two elements will be increased.

Butterfly Effect
unlocked by EtherealOblivion + 1128965
Every time a portal to another dimension is opened, the magics existing in both realms violently mix with one another. If the portal remains open only for a short time, this connection usually fades and stabilizes over time. However, when portals are kept open too long or opened too frequently, the consequences can be unpredictable.
There is a chance that every portal opening that ends in failure could trigger a butterfly effect in a completely different, unexpected location.
─── ⋆⋅✧⋅⋆ ───
Corridors
unlocked by Ibb + 1112926
The connections between dimensions are not direct passages from one world to another. Between them lies an almost invisible corridor, which can sometimes be observed when the runestones are poorly calibrated.
The darkness that can then be seen for a brief moment is an unexplored and mysterious place, its location unknown. We do know, however, that it is inhabited by the Void Influence, and each exposure to its power may bring about consequences that are yet unknown to us.

Failed summonings and the Whispering Forest
unlocked by rentropy + 643367
One night, a few alchemists staying in the highest towers of the Creation Lab notice something disturbing... They notice that every time another passage to another dimension is opened and the summoning ritual ends in failure... strange flashes can be seen in the Whispering Forest. At the moment, we are unable to determine what they might mean - no one is stupid or crazy enough to venture deep into the forest...

First Brewing Ritual preparations pt2
unlocked by obliviousally + 25446
The Brewing Ritual must be strengthened this time. Everyone participating will have the chance to add a piece of themselves to the cauldron, in addition to the regular ingredients. Don't worry! Not literally! They say that dreams and aspirations are also part of a certain magic, and that is exactly what we are talking about.
During this Brewing Ritual, everyone will have a one-time opportunity to "add" one moodboard of their choice. These will enter a fair draw, where a few lucky winners will receive Alchemites inspired by them. This will influence the attributes and colors of that specific Alchemite; all other aspects, such as the impact of the Influence or the selected species reagents, will come from the main cauldron where the collective reagents are tossed.
─── ⋆⋅✧⋅⋆ ───
Unknown curse
unlocked by Sladesdragon + 2563
Exposing oneself to the direct gaze of the Void too often can lead to certain consequences in the long run. A few alchemists who met its gaze one too many times were afflicted by a strange curse, falling into a lethargy-like state during which they mutter incoherently in a bizarre tongue. Fortunately, this condition did not last longer than 4 days for them, yet we have still been unable to find any cure or logical explanation for what exactly triggers it. Those who experienced this have no memory of what happened to them during that period of time.

We already know when the planets will align in the right combination to best amplify the effects of the Brewing Ritual. We are still ironing out the details, but the brewing process itself should begin this Monday.

About portals
unlocked by Equinox Von + 1084656
In one of the ancient books, you find records written hundreds of years ago. They detail certain experiments conducted by a guild that was dissolved long ago. They attempted to pull creatures from another dimension to diversify the fauna, which had suffered heavily after the ancient battle at World's End. It was the very beginning of the science behind calibrating runestones to specific dimensions, so many attempts ended in failure, and sometimes in injuries caused by violent portal explosions.
However, that is not what catches your attention... You find a note stating that strange energy discharges were observed in the area multiple times, whenever a summoning failed. The researchers tried to determine the causes of these phenomena, yet they were never once able to predict where it would happen. Thus, they theorized that the corridor between the two portals, which was supposed to connect both dimensions, had been severed, causing each portal to become a 'one-way passage.' We know that the portal opened in our dimension (the entrance) leads to some chaotic abyss where the Void itself lurks, but the nature of the second portal (the exit) remains a mystery to us. There is a chance it might be an invitation to our world, one that could be used by... Well, by what exactly?
─── ⋆⋅✧⋅⋆ ───
Necromancy?
unlocked by LokiToons + 101991
You find an ancient book concerning necromancy and its various branches. One of the chapters describes alternative methods of obtaining materials to create controlled entities. There is a method that requires a certain essence of life... or magic. Unfortunately, the records do not explain exactly what this means, but it is described as a potent energy source closely tied to life, so it could probably be compared to something like a soul. This energy must be placed within a suitable vessel capable of containing it. The vessel can be crafted from a wide variety of resources, though they are strictly required to be of natural origin. You wonder if this is exactly how the Leshy created his Leshy Fiends, utilizing the materials available in the forest. But how did he manage to acquire the energy needed to breathe life into them?
This part of the event has come to an end.
As we are still wandering in the dark, we encourage all alchemists to join the search for effective methods of fighting the Leshy. To this end, the Creation Lab has announced that they will accept any non-standard alchemical potion that could help advance our progress and find the right path. Some of these will be used in the experimental process of creating Alchemites.![]()

This part of the event is currently ongoing.
The end of this phase has not yet been determined, but it will definitely be announced at least a week before it ends.
─── ⋆⋅✧⋅⋆ ───
Thanks to Remains of Eternity (936916), you have managed to learn from a mysterious wanderer that the Leshy does not originate from this dimension. Since it managed to cross over... perhaps there is a glimmer of hope to establish contact with other worlds in search of help? The number of Alchemites is definitely too small at the moment to face the Leshy’s full strength; therefore, as the saying goes - a drowning man will clutch at a straw.
Ancient tomes kept in the main library tell of such dimensional clashes occurring in the past. A group of few alchemists successfully opened portals that allowed for passage back and forth, though the connection never remained stable for long. What if we could properly calibrate the portals to point them in a specific direction - one where, as legends suggest, friendly beings capable of aiding us might reside?
─── ⋆⋅✧⋅⋆ ───
This idea may seem crazy, but in the current situation, it is worth a try. As a one-time opportunity, each alchemist may attempt to summon one creature of their choice from any other UMA (from CS only) they possess to support the fight against the Leshy.Rules
✧ The number of attempts you can make is equal to the total number of UMAs in which you own at least one creature.
✧ Summoning forms can be submitted any number of times per day (no need to wait for a confirmation post). You can also combine them and attempt to summon several different UMAs in a single submission - they will be calculated accordingly based on successful and failed summonings. [ added ]
✧ You may choose only one creature from a chosen UMA to attempt to summon - if the summoning fails, you cannot try to summon a different creature from that same UMA.
✧ The chance for a successful first summoning is 80%, and each time you successfully call a creature to aid you, the chance for the next successful summoning will be reduced by 1/3. The lowest possible chance for a successful summoning is 10%.
✧ The summoned creatures will support future events occurring during the current event and are merely a small lore addition to the world of Alchemites, and they will never be connected to the world of Alchemites in any way - they will appear as "beings from another dimension".
✧ For each successful summoning, you will receive special rewards drawn from a prize pool.─── ⋆⋅✧⋅⋆ ───

The recent clash with the Leshy has proven that you cannot passively wait for events to unfold, focusing only on repelling its attacks. It is high time to take action! The city elders have decided to convene a series of meetings where all ideas for getting the current situation under control will be heard. Every voice matters - at this stage, there are no bad ideas, and who knows? Perhaps you will be the one to inspire others.
─── ⋆⋅✧⋅⋆ ───
Meetings at the Town Hall will last for a week, during which discussions will be held regarding tactics that will decide the coming days and weeks. At the moment, the Elders are divided into two camps: one favors open combat with the Leshy to defeat him at all costs, while the other considers the option of capturing him for scientific purposes. Every Alchemist participating in the meetings may put forward their own idea or concept on what the next steps regarding the Leshy should look like. There are no bad ideas here, and even the most irrational ones will be heard.Rules
✧ During this phase of the event, you may submit any number of your ideas using the form (CS rules apply!).
✧ All submitted ideas will be discussed at the Town Hall forum after the event concludes.
✧ If you manage to convince more people to support your idea during the next stage of this phase, it will be added as an additional option or path to handle the situation with the Leshy.─── ⋆⋅✧⋅⋆ ───

A quick explanation
This part of the event allows you to create alternative paths to face the Leshy, besides the two "main/standard" ones - led by NPCs:✧ Option 1: Open attack on the Whispering Forest and defeating the Leshy at all costs.
✧ Option 2: Open attack on the Whispering Forest, capturing the Leshy at all costs, and using it for research and scientific purposes. If you like another alchemist's idea (listed under "Ideas" in the first phase of the event) more than the standard options, you can support it using the form below - the more people support a given idea (even if it seems crazy), the greater its chances of success.Rules
✧ Feel free to have any discussions in our Discussion thread (or anywhere you like) before choosing which idea you vote for - just please, don't force others into voting for your ideas ;3
✧ You can only support one idea.
✧ If you suggested your own solution, you can vote for it - or cast your vote for a different idea.
✧ By submitting your support for a given idea, you won't be forced to roleplay or write anything in any way - as I mentioned, this part of the event is optional.─── ⋆⋅✧⋅⋆ ───
Your ideas were heard during the first Town Hall meetings, and as it turns out, some of you share common goals. Some of the ideas were... crazy to say the least, and practically impossible to pull off alone, but if you were to convince others to see things your way... who knows?

Current VotesNagapie votes for plateOfFlan's idea
✧ Elder Alchemist 1: Are you insane, young ones? Are you ready to risk the stability of this or other dimensions? Opening portals is not a game!
✧ Elder Alchemist 2: True, the idea is insane... Yet, isn't it the madmen who are the precursors to the greatest and most magnificent discoveries?
✧ Scholar from the Creation Lab: Technically speaking, it is possible... However, for this to work, we will need to gather a sufficient number of people... The Leshy is too powerful for us to banish it anywhere with just a few portals.
✧ Elder Alchemist 1: So what, you're just going to open up some random worlds and throw the Leshy in there, condemning them to his terror?
✧ Some random alchemist: You know what they say... Why worry about what might happen or what the consequences could be right now? Let tomorrow's versions of us worry about that...Ibb supports Visceryl's idea
✧ Elder Alchemist 1: So you're suggesting that the Raging Spirit effect could also apply to the Leshy? Hmmm... Indeed, at the moment we don't have any theories regarding his unjustified aggression. We don't even know why he is attacking us, or where exactly he came from.
✧ Elder Alchemist 2: But isn't trying to cure him with the same thing we use for our Alchemites too risky? Will we even be able to get close enough to him to successfully administer anything?
✧ Captain of the Guard: A few daredevils are planning to try and capture these... what do you call them, Leshy Fiends, this week? Maybe you should test your potions on one of them before you send people on such a crazy mission.Papilio Ulysses supports Visceryl's idea
✧ Elder Alchemist 1: Another one who wants to play at playing doctor? We should catch him and examine him in his current state; interfering in this way could rob us of the chance to gain valuable knowledge, not to mention extracting his wild magic!
✧ Elder Alchemist 2: Just because you madmen want to experiment on the Leshy doesn't mean that this is the right path. The voices speculating about a link between his aggression and the Raging Spirit curse should be verified before we start making further assumptions.TheCrimsonDragon12 supports Equinox Von's idea
✧ Elder Alchemist 1: Well, this plan sounds... sensible, at least in a few places. Investigating all of this is definitely a step in the right direction, though I have some concerns about whether we have enough time for it all.
✧ Elder Alchemist 2: Time? How are we supposed to know how much time we have? We need to act, not dwell on it. We don't know how long the Leshy stayed in the Whispering Forest before he started terrorizing the area. Weeks, or even months, could have passed, so for all we know, we might have gained a similar window of time after repelling the last attack?
✧ Elder Alchemist 3: We don't know much about the Leshy, but one thing is certain – creating such a vast army of fiends must have cost him a great deal of energy, and it should take some time before he restores his strength, which should give us the time needed to carry out this plan.
✧ Elder Alchemist 2: Very well then, iron out the details. Perhaps one of the Leshy Fiends will be useful for this, provided the task force manages to capture one. Just gather more people; every extra pair of hands will be needed to carry out such a large-scale tagging operation successfully.Ucanthandleme supports Ucanthandleme's idea
✧ Elder Alchemist 1: It is nice to see someone so confident in their plan that they ultimately choose this option. A surprise attack is surely a much better solution than a blind charge into the unknown.
✧ Scholar from the Creation Lab: The creatures summoned from other worlds were primarily meant to help us repel any potential repeat attack, in case we didn't manage to rebuild the city in time. However, as soon as it is secured, and provided the stability of the summons allows for it, we should indeed use their numbers to support the assault on the Leshy. Especially since he is likely weakened right now.
✧ Elder Alchemist 2: Very well then, just gather a sufficient number of people for this task. But first, let us investigate the matter of the strange flashes in the Whispering Forest, which seem to be somehow linked to the failed portal openings to other dimensions. We don't want anything catching us off guard there.dolluva supports Equinox Von's idea
✧ Elder Alchemist 1: It seems your words have already spoken to a few daredevils ready to follow your idea. We hope you are prepared to lead them into the mist of the unknown.
✧ Elder Alchemist 2: We may not know much, but a well-thought-out plan stands a chance of success.Sladesdragon supports Equinox Von's idea
✧ Elder Alchemist 1: t is nice to see that among so many ideas and convictions, we are still able to reach a consensus and organize ourselves in pursuit of a single goal. It seems that a sensible team is slowly starting to come together.
Equinox Von supports Equinox Von's idea
✧ Captain of the Guard: Support for your idea is growing among the people in this room. I hope you are ready to bear this responsibility for those who will follow you?
sad magic supports Equinox Von's idea
✧ Elder Alchemist 1: So, we have another one who wishes to join this crowd. Very well then, if this plan of yours is to succeed, you must prepare intensively. Before you begin, let us see if we can capture one of the Leshy Fiends. That should make future research much easier.

✧ Elder Alchemist 1: This is definitely enough daredevils to give it a try. Just be careful, we do not want to lose such promising alchemists.
✧ Elder Alchemist 2: For now, these are just words spoken within the safe walls of this chamber. Remember, what matters most will be showing up during those crucial days, when words must be turned into actions.Netsuii supports Visceryl 's idea
✧ Elder Alchemist 1: A cure, you say? We are capable of curing Alchemites of the Raging Spirit effect, but as it has already been mentioned, we must first verify if it is also effective on the Leshy, and whether he is under any kind of influence at all.
✧ Elder Alchemist 2: Cross your fingers for the group setting out to capture one of the Leshy Fiends; this is crucial for the development of any ideas we come up with.Swarm_Nest supports Equinox Von's idea
✧ Elder Alchemist 1: Ah, and so one of the final voices has spoken. Very well then, I believe our situation is clear enough now. Research first, action second. Move out!

✧ Elder Alchemist 1: Everyone has been heard, and the decisions have been made. I cannot say we agree with all of them, but inaction is our worst option.
New exploration option: 02.06 - 05.06
Some of you suggested that capturing and examining the Leshy Fiends might give us answers to our questions and perhaps push us in a certain direction. During this week of exploration (02.06 - 05.06), instead of heading out on a regular expedition, you can use a specially added form to join a group of daredevils who will undertake this attempt (the more people decide to do this, the greater the chance of success). However! For this type of expedition, you can exceptionally take only one of your Alchemites with you.

Research on the captured Leshy Fiends is currently underway... Their results will be announced soon.
A special shop run by the Creation Lab, where you can exchange your collected Field Notes for special rewards.
The shop is not yet open...Leshy’s Blind Roll
Exchange your gathered knowledge for a chance at the unknown!
By handing over 1 Field Note, you receive 1 Ticket for the Leshy’s Blind Roll.
( This idea is still in progress. Depending on whether I can come up with something sensible and worth giving a chance to the horrible RNG - which loves no one - it will either be expanded or removed before the shop opens ^-^ )Currencies
