No one knows how it’s created or where to find it, as it can manifest anywhere seemingly out of thin air, but it’s unmistakable when it shimmers back into view. Universal polymer, a rare and mysterious element for its use in... well, most applications, per its name. You quickly take out a container and snap it around the shimmering space, trapping the polymer inside. For a moment, you're sure that this is all a dream... but no, you're holding something special!

Borunda, the burly fishmonger of Tailwind Alley, bemoans that his beloved shop cat has escaped again. You locate the wiggly rascal up on a high lamp post just outside of the shopping district. With some coaxing, the cat leaps off and onto your head. You escort the smug feline back to his home, and a joyous Borunda gives you a nice big trout and 15 Sprockets for the trouble.

Exploring the ruins of a long forgotten cottage, you brush aside the layers of dust upon entering the door and take in the withered decorations around the room. Out of the corner of your eye you notice a cracked wooden drawer, intrigued you walk over and peer in to discover 20 Sprockets! What an odd thing to leave behind…

They may be a rare occurrence, needing the right conditions to create them, but any time you hear rumors of a meteorite falling to a planet’s surface, you’re quick to teleport there before other scavengers. This time you’ve gotten lucky, as small glowing shards of star fragments, named for their ethereal twinkle, are present strewn about the impact site where heat-met-rock-met-surface.

A nice local Gryphian notices your disappointment and lightly nudges you to get your attention. A giant paw the size of your head drops 15 Sprockets into your palm. With a friendly grunt, the towering avian gives you a thumbs-up before lumbering off to another stall.

Old workshops tend to be prime places for finding useful supplies, and this one is no exception. As you shuffle through drawers and cabinets, you find a spool of twine in good condition. You toss it in your bag just in case it comes in handy someday.

You teleport into a clearing, having followed a set of directions given to you by a friend-of-a-friend. Not sure where you seem to have landed, you notice the dirt beneath you is a striking shade of reddish-brown. With a bit of processing, clay soil like this has many uses, and is worth the effort to bring home.

For the rough-and-tumble Gryphian looking to make a statement, these spiked bracelets certainly are fierce! Arguably, they pair with any outfit to give you a bit of an edge… at least when it comes to fashion!
