mmm Aylin would never eat strange candy. She may be a look the part of a feral stray you'd expect to eat anything they can get their hands on, but she has standards. That candy is definitely gross from the river water, and it's probably a yucky flavor or someone wouldn't have thrown it in the river! No, that candy is staying where it is.

Furry ears flatten as I hear a dreadful ker-plop, as I turn from my peaceful flower crown making to investigate, I see candy floating here of all places. The thought crosses my mind 'Should I eat it? I do like snacks' as I pull the candy from the swampy water. How long has this been here? The wrapper seems undisturbed and unfaded as I turn it over to examine it more closely. It doesn't look like the seal is broken, and doesn't look like a typical item that's been discarded ages ago stuck in the foliage. I hold the candy close to my chest, this means someone is close and watching....

Solrath inspects the water logged candy and decides that eating it at this very moment isn't the best idea, though that doesn't stop him from putting it aside for later. He might be in need a bit of a pick-me-up sometime soon if he's to spend anymore time in this place without a friend to keep him company.

The candy in his paw calls to him. Does he eat it or not? He ponders for a bit as there are many reason for and against. In the end, he pockets the candy. Save it for later you know or maybe the candy will be offered to someone else but for now he isn't really feeling like eating candy.

morning had come and mick was still lost, almost nodding off at some points in the night. they stare at the river, running like their brain, making up good and bad scenarios on how they'd get out of this situation. suddenly, something in the water captures their attention. it's a piece of candy, huh. they would've followed it for a bit, but ick, didn't seem like it had a wrapper on.

but they think about it a little, and start walking towards where it came from instead. someone must have dropped it, meaning help isn't too far. at least they hope so. they notice they're hungry, of course... maybe the candy would've helped, but they don't feel like getting wet.

The hunger calls, my belly rumbles quietly.
Maybe it's that nagging sweet tooth that's really calling, but to come out of the safe place, is this really a foolish action I'll take? Possibly. Maybe it's a trap, maybe whoever was following me set this all up? I don't know anyone who would pull a prank like this. Is it really just an innocent soggy candy floating downstream?

BUT, then what was that splash? Someone has to be making a fool of me. Okay, but you can't trick me. I'll be fast, the quickest. They won't see me, I won't let them. With ungainly movements and a feisty swipe, I snatch up the small treat and frantically race back towards the haven I've created.

★ Response: ???!!! Candy? Candy Candy candy! Oh that's a big Candy and I AM hungry... I would run straight towards the treat all caution from before gone. It's in the water thought, is it possible to reach with a stick.. or somehow manipulate the water so it floats towards me. No one like tricking around in soggy wet socks! We will see if the treat is soggy also, the biggest factor of if I'd eat it.

"Is that... the sweet, delectable wrappings of... CANDY?!?!" Stryker cries out, feeling his mouth absolutely watering at the thought.

He's been lost for too long, and picking at random plants can only satisfy so much of a slug's hunger. "What could it be? It's hard to tell from the wrapper... maybe a sour candy? A taffy? Maybe even a... CHOCOLATE??" Stryker rambles to himself, circling the floating sweet treat like a shark circling their prey.

"Ugh, I can't help myself... C'MERE, YOU DELICIOUS SNACK!!" he cries as he pounces into the river, jaws open wide as he chomps down on... nothing. What? There's no way! Styker was an expert at capturing his meals, and it wasn't even moving! Maybe it was all a trick...
