DAILY LOG:
We found a TON of scrap in an old car lot! Took a bit of time to break down whatever vehicles were left and sort through the parts, but it was a fruitful find. I've started bringing a walkie talkie with us to keep in touch with the wermz back at the airport, and I've let them know where the scrap is so they can come and collect it. I'm not going to be able to carry it all back in this condition (my shoulder still aches) and my sons are far too little still.

We're spending the night hunkered down in what I think used to be the sales manager's office. Rascal is having so much fun spinning around in the moth-eaten computer chair while Bleu is ransacking the filing cabinets looking for anything else of value. I think I'll put this log down and help him. Maybe spin Rascal around a bit as best I can. I still feel eyes on us though, so I know it's going to be another fitful night...at least the children can sleep.
