We are hiring for the following positions:
Artists, Item Artists ★

Positions marked with a "★" need filled most urgently, and applications for those spots will take priority!
If we are not searching, please do not post.

Staff Rules and Expectations:

★ Follow all CS and Keepsies rules.
★ All staff must be in the Keepsies Discord.
★ Treat all users- as well as staff- with respect! No power-tripping or passive aggression.
★ Get along well with and communicate to a team in a healthy, productive manner.
★ Make suggestions and pitch new ideas, while also respecting the Admins and Owner's final decisions.
★ Keep corrections and confrontations kind and professional.
★ Handle all issues fairly, and without personal bias.
★ Bring any potential concerns to admins or the owner privately and directly. No gossiping or vagueing in DMs or outside chats.
★ All internal info (plans, WIPs, logs, etc.) need to stay private. No sharing screenshots, messages or upcoming events without permission.
★ Let an admin know if you'll be inactive for 2+ weeks. If you are inactive for a prolonged period of time unannounced, you may be contacted and asked to review your position.

Moderator Application

Mod Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
★ Verifying users and monitoring channels/content in the Discord as well as in the Forums.
★ Stepping in during disputes, issuing warnings/strikes/mutes, and escalating issues to Admins.
★ Assisting in de-escalation, answering questions, and helping guide members.

Trove Tender Application

Trove Tender Responsibilities:
★ Roll and assign daily Treasure Trove rummaging results for participating users.
★ Log results accurately, including any rare or special drops.
★ Ensure results are posted on time.
★ Communicate with other staff if you need to swap days or take a short break.
★ Double-check results and user rummaging posts for accuracy and consistency.
★ Weekly participation is required to maintain this role.
★ Must be detail-oriented and reliable. Errors or delays in results affects the entire community.
★ Collaboration with artists or archivists may be needed if drops involve new items or tracking.

Guest Artist Application

Guest Artist Responsibilities:
★ Create Keepsies for front page litters, treasure trove drops, giveaways, or mini-events.
★ Upload your designs to an Imgbb archive with accuracy, as well as properly updating logs for Archivists to keep track of.
★ Share any new lines you create in our Lines Library, as well as being willing to share your lines with other artists on the team if requested.
★ Optionally, host games or color-in contests to engage the community!
★ Please note that Guest Artists are not permitted to make posts to the Forum, or make customs for monetary profit (making customs for c$. trades and other UMA currency is allowed). This is a privilege only full Artists have at this time.

Please submit at least 4 designs. 2 designs with no line edits, and 2 designs with line edits.
Please do not exceed a canvas size of 200x200 pixels.
If you have other pixel art examples, or examples from other pixel art UMAs, you're free to share those as well!
Additionally, please give a written explanation of your thought process and the inspiration behind your submissions.



Do not use these lines for any purpose other than artist applications.
Do not remove the signature, or the "FAKE" label.
Artist entries must be 100% original. No copyrighted characters, no color-ins or pre-existing designs or OCS, and no tracing/frankensteining parts of other artist's work.
Please do not try to animate your entries, we won't be able to officiate them if you're hired, and it won't affect how likely you are to be chosen.

Guest Item Artist Responsibilities:
★ Design wearable or usable items for the species (accessories, materials, items, effects, etc.).
★ Follow size guidelines and keep items readable at small scale.
★ Submit finished items to staff for archiving before release.
★ Upload and title files clearly for easy cataloging.
★ Collaborate on events or shop updates!

Please submit at least 4 item designs, varying in size, using the Base provided.
Please do not exceed a canvas size of 200x200 pixels.
If you have other pixel art item examples, or examples from other pixel art UMAs, you're free to share those as well!

Marble ball Keepsie ┋ Disco dad Keepsie

[size=65]For the first one, marble ball Keepsie, I thought of 1: item that fits the ball, and people cherish, for me personally, I love these marble balls! I decided to go fairly simple, trying to at times add more patterns but felt like the simple look sells it best! The grey spots are supposed to represent Transarent parts, but I assume no line edits = no transparency edits!

For the disco dad, it just perfectly fit! A disco ball with a dad mustache and stylish fur/clothes that sparkle? There isn't much to say as it just came naturally


Cassette memory Keepsie ┋ Eyeball Keepsie 😰

For the Cassette Memory Keepsie, I thought of again items we cherish, and what can we cherish more then a voice, audio, an old song? I once again picked a more of an "old" item, cassette tape! I saved a version of the base without notes so they can be arranged however to somewhat customize it, or even left out if the idea is a cherished broken cassette tape! This I believe is the one I was the most happy with execution wise, it feels so mellow and nostalgic- and to add to that nostalgia I added a static texture to it!

Last one I was thinking "well, who said the love for an object that creates a keepsie had to be wholesome or moral?", also... Halloween anyone? Heheh! So yes, what if someone like a murderer or a cannibal treasured something many of us don't even see as objects, someone body part, this could make for great horror keepsies and Halloween keepsies! I went really fleshy with mine, hope that's ok
