Tyme Nymphs are technically children of Chronos, The God of Time. Tyme Nymphs, in question, look like little worms. At least, that's how they start out, some Tyme Nymphs imprint on other animals, and magically transform into said animal. However, most Tyme Nymphs imprint on other Tyme Nymphs, which leads to them just taking normal Tyme Nymph form for the rest of their little worm life. And most imprinting Tyme Nymphs do goes... Botched, at best, which leads to Tyme Nymphs looking like poor impersonations of whatever they were imprinting on. Tyme Nymphs grow from the time stream in space, which is time in a physical form, Tyme Nymphs grow from the time stream like a sprout, and then fall off naturally. Tyme Nymphs float throughout space before falling on a planet or some other celestial body. Tyme Nymphs then explore whatever they fell on before they find another living creature to imprint on and turn into. Whether it be a fox or another Tyme Nymph, they will imprint on the animal. Once imprinted, Tyme Nymphs pretty much just spend the rest of their time being silly little guys, as they photosynthesize and have an unusual amount of dopamine in their system.
They also are extremely durable, able to survive just about anything. However, these little guys love pastries, as it increases the dopamine in their system, and the sugar helps them photosynthesize better. They also love being dressed up, especially in cowboy outfits. Tyme Nymphs usually come in about three colors, pink, blue, and green. And babies, also called Tyme Nymphlings, or Nymphlings for short, only come in those three colors. Nymphs are also very extroverted creatures, loving to interact with other Nymphs and creatures. These are how Tyme Nymphs work, enjoy!
