Wild Mountain Equid Custom Shop[/center]

As a gift to you all and thank you to the artists we will be offering custom equids. The prices will be fixed so all artists are the same unless they are special.

You will need access to discord and be over the age of 18 to purchase customs with USD.

Regular Semi-custom: $10USD (+$2USD for Ragtail)
This is includes all coat colours listed on the equid information centre including roan. Non-genetic traits are not available.

Special/Event Semi-custom: $30USD (+$5USD for Ragtail)
This is limited to: Skeleton, Dragon, Rainbow, Somatic and Quipless. You can select one event or special trait.

Regular Full Custom: $20USD (+$2USD for Ragtail)
This is includes all coat colours listed on the equid information centre including roan. It also includes non-genetic markings except coats that are under special/event coats. You need to provide an image of the design you are looking for. If changes are required these will be discussed with you.

Special/Event Full Custom: These are currently unavailable

Artists Choice: $15USD
You can choose the gender and height but the rest is artists choice. Each one will either have roan, non-genetic markings or ragtail guaranteed. You may even get a chance at an appaloosa (1% chance).

If an artist is open to customs they will say in their respective shop and have their own forms/method for applying. You should also check the preferred payment methods to ensure you are able to offer payment.
Please check each artist's shop for their payment rules and methods before purchasing.

What if I can't pay by the artists chosen method?
Unfortunately that means you cannot order from them.

Why do I need to be over 18 years old?
This is to ensure that you can give consent for the transaction. You will not need to provide evidence but we hold no responsibility for payments taken from minors.

Can we request edits after it is made?
You can request some small changes to semi-customs, edits to markings, colours, etc. Any edits to full customs will be agreed ahead of time to ensure it meets the equid coat standards.

Do you accept CS$?
Some artists may offer a CS$ conversion but it is at the artists discretion.

What if I want a full custom but can't draw?
You can ask someone else to draw it for you if you do not feel you can draw it accurately.

What is the difference between a semi-custom and full custom?
A semi-custom is where you describe the coat you would like, including examples of similar patterns/colours (real horses or equids) and the artist still has some free reign on the design. For a full custom you provide the design which the artist transfers to the lines.

Why are full customs more expensive?
To accurately transfer your design takes more time then if we have free reign. It may also include some consultation to get the markings to meet species standards which is included within the price.

Can I buy a custom for someone else/sell it?
You can sell/trade a custom equid as you can with any equid. We just ask that you do not try to oversell it later and respect what was paid and what is currently being charged.

Why is ragtail more expensive?
Ragtail is a rarer trait, so to help keep it that way it will cost extra.

Why aren't all the different kinds of special/event coats available?
To ensure they remain special some coats are not currently available. This does not mean that they won't be available at a later date but this is what is available for now.

Why aren't you offering full custom event/specials?
Due to the complexity of their coats and having to review these they are not currently available. They may be available in the future but for now they are closed.

Is there a maximum number of customs we can order?
No but artists may set their own limits. To keep balance artists will generally do no more then 10 a month.

Q: Is the opening FCFS?
A: No, i will very very rarely do FCFS. This is so i can choose which customs I think i can do well and the customs that interest me.

Q: Do you accept artist choice?
A: Not very often. In order to have a successful artist choice form, there needs to be ALOT of examples of what you like so i can try my best to create something you will like!

Q: Can I request a base and quip type for my artist choice custom?
A: No! This would be considered a semi-custom. Artist choice means everything will be decided by the artist, again, i do recommend alot of examples of equids you like. Please do choose the Gender and Height of your future equid!

Q: Do you accept full customs?
A: Not very often. I love having free rein to create, which full customs do not allow. I dont enjoy trying to replicate things almost exactly unless there is some artist free reign like pet to equid customs (which I love to do!)

Q: Do I need to wait until there is an announcement to send my custom form?
A: Yes. Please wait for an announcement to send your form to me. I will sometimes announce prior to opening time that you can send in your form when the time comes.

Q: Where do I send my form?
A: Please send forms exclusively to my CS PM's.

Q: What currency type do you accept?
A: I will generally be open for all currency type, CS wishlist pets, c$ and USD.

Q: Im paying with pets, do they need to be wishlist?
A: Yes, I only accept wishlist. If there comes a time I dont have such an extensive wishlist this will be revised.

Q: What is the USD to C$ conversion rate?
A: As listed above, $1 USD = C$30

Q: How do I fill in the form for a semi-custom?
A: Think of a semi custom as your vision. Be descriptive and use plenty of examples to portray your idea.

Q: If I want an artist choice special custom, do I need to pay both prices listed?
A: No! You only need to pay for the Special custom part of the order, no need to double up!

Q: Im paying with Pets/C$! Do I need to send a trade with my form?
A: No, it is not a requirement, however, being able to accept custom request payment straight away is very handy. So if you can send a trade and link to the trade on your custom form.

Q: Do you prefer a certain special/event type?
A: I love doing pretty much all event types excluding rainbow. I am also not great at realistic Skeletons and will usually prefer to do more abstract type skeletons.

Q: Would you accept a rough design mock up for you to be inspired by?
A: Yes, however do not expect a 1:1 copy, i will use it as only inspiration.
