Stevie attempts to pickup the bow and raise it to eye level again, prepared to strike a bullseye this time, when a thought pops into her head: the targets are heart-shaped, which means...

With an excited squeak, she pulls back the arrow and aims with as much precision as she can muster, already imagining the applause she's sure to receive when she strikes it swift and true. In her mind, she's getting to play cupid, and that target is going to be the perfect practice!

but he is really excited to shoot at the targets!
Firstly though before taking his shot,
he walks up to Fletcher with his arms spread wide open,
hoping to get a hug for good luck!

Karl fumbled around with the bow and arrow in his paws, struggling to even get a better grip on it. He looks rather frustrated about this! "U-Uh.. does anyone know how to use thus thing????" His paws kept slipping away from the bow, as if he doesn't have any functional paws at all. After some time, his grip was firm, but his posture was HORRIBLE. "Ok ok I think I got it!!" With a gleeful cheer he aimed towards the heart shaped target. Karl's nose twitches as he started to catch allergies at the wrong time. Poor Karl. He tries to keep it in but it was no use! He sneezes loudly and the arrow flings away from him, hitting the target, but only on the edge! It flies and propels onto another wall and was aiming straight at Fletcher! How can a simple mistake create something as chaotic as that? "FLETCHER! WATCH OUT!!!!" He squeaks and tries to run after to warn her about the arrow before it was too late.

the truest test and obstacle a newfound thief can face has presented itself—Cupitor has successfully scored a prize from the table, but at what cost ?

The continued kindness from Fletcher is both baffling and guilt-inducing, and her encouragement bittersweet. The weight of knowing of the committed crime is too much to be able to accept it, and because the archery range attendant is overwhelmingly nice.

If not for keeping external composure, Cupitor might be both moved and guilty enough to start crying again. The resolution to the situation is clear—come clean about the stolen 'chosen in advance' prize, and earn it by hitting one of the now ready targets.

Which Cupitor is now focused on doing, openly setting down the horse toy in the grass before taking aim at the heart-shaped targets, determined in the task of redemption and fairness. Definitely just that and nothing else.
