after target practice didn't go as well as hoped, Cupitor took some time to calm down and stop crying... which didn't take long at all, once they saw the table of prizes and shinies just sitting there. Unguarded.

now seeking a pick-me-up after that failed target shot ( while some gummies are a decent consolation already ), it seems Cupitor is seeking just a little more for their emotional troubles.

alas, treasures don't usually stay unguarded for long, and a werm like Cupitor knows this well. Now isn't the time to hide in the shadows and sneak around, and all of the stripes and spots in the world won't help if they're seen sneaking around.

after a mere second of checking on the status of Fletcher ( and internally bargaining ) Cupitor quickly grabs whatever looks most tempting and accessible from the top, their hunter instincts kicking in as they've gone in for the catch.

It is too late, and even if spotted, any treasure hunting opponents or guards will have a fight on their hands, preceded only by defensive growls as a warning... tattlers may also incur their wrath, and will insist that they're trying to get something out of the deal or were eyeing the pile too ^^;
