Prompt: my family makes christmas cookies every year! half of them are sugar cookies from a really old family recipe that uses orange peels (it's So Good.) and the other half we split the dough and dye part red, which we braid together to make peppermint stick cookies! for those ones we always crush up a bunch of candy canes and sprinkle them with the pieces!! don't tell anybody but those are definitely my favorite. then after all that we all sit down together to decorate them, my favorite part. we always make a mess out of the frosting and sprinkles but it's so worth it in the end 😭
