I'll admit, I've not often been "snowed in". My family has always been "tough" in that way, my dad always got us out to shovel the driveway. I think that really did help me develop a work ethic. Plus, it was always a nice family-bonding activity! Going inside after a good afternoon's work and curling up with my dog and a cup of warm tea was (and is) always nice.

Prompt: a couple years ago, we got this massive snow storm on my birthday. 22 inches of snow, to be exact. It was so high that it was as high as my living room windows. I love huge snow storms like this, but my fellow college students were outside in the parking lot playing in the snow and having snowball fights and it was just such a fun and positive experience.

Prompt: Not quite snowed in because I don't get snow, but a couple years back we had a hurricane come through our (my family and I's) area (we decided to stay put instead of trying to flee this time because we've been through several hurricanes before and have been lucky enough to not see any real damage), so we stocked up and hot chocolate and snacks made a fort with all the couch cusions, and watched old vhs tapes off a TV running on a generator ^-^
