Deermas Prompt Entry!
Espresso is one of the first to wake up Christmas morning. They are so excited to start opening presents! But since the others aren't up yet, breakfast gets started to lure them awake with delicious smells. Sweet coffee is brewed, sweet rolls are baked and eggs and bacon are cooked on the stove, luring the others to join them. Soot goes to get their stockings first and pass them out, but gets a little dusty around the fireplace. Once everyone opens the stockings they find an apple or orange to go with their breakfast. Then on to the presents! Soot helps the other little ones dig under the tree and pass out presents. Once they're done the wrapping is flying and hugs and thanks are given. Some of the smaller ones have as much fun with the wrapping as with their gifts. After much laughter and music and fun is had, eventually naps are taken. As Expresso looks around, they are glad it was another good Christmas and hopes any others that were elsewhere had a good day too.
