Why do you want to be an artist for WERMZ?: Wermz was one of the first UMA's i ever saw or joined, the community is so kind and i love being a part of it! I'd like to be able to give back to the community through many free designs and raffles as a thank you for being so nice and welcoming! ;v;

Why do you want to be an artist for WERMZ?:
Ive been in the wermz community for nearly a year now and i love this silly little community on the internet so much. I love how much creativity flows through the community and that all types of artists can find a home in creating art from our little creatures! For me personally ive always wanted to get into pixel art and small animations and i find that wermz have really given me the inspiration to explore these art styles to fit the pixel like art style of wermz!

I would really love to be a wermz artist to bring to the wermz community my creativity and my passions outside the community which ill show in some of my werm eateries! i love talking to people about designs especially when they come to more complex and scenecore/emo designs which i would really love to bring into the wermz community with my wermz and designs <3 I would love the opportunity to improve with my own art and character designs if im given the chance to be an artist and work along sides the already fantastic and creative artists that help make Wermz real! I feel that being a wermz artist would be such a great creative outlet and a chance to have fun with my art outside of the commissions i usually take :3 One thing i would LOVE to do if i was able to be an artist is take on werm breedings that other artist might hessite to take on, such as 2 very apposing litter lines and extreme colour combos and complexity!

werm 1. This werm is based on a weirdcore/dreamcore aesthetic, i think its a really cool aesthetic and i like the contrast of a white eye outline on a black head!

I wanted to show that im able to work with lots of colours since thats what kind of wermz id love to be making and because the other lines ive made for my application use mostly browns and natural colours hehe. THYLACINES!!!!! These are my favourite animals EVER EVER! i adore them so so much and i wanted to bring my funny little creatures into wermz!! (〜^∇^)〜
These guys are also known as the Tasmanian tiger and were native to Australia but went extinct in 1936 (i still believe they are out there) These thylacine lines are apart of marsupial wermz ive made for my application!!

QUOLLS!!! Quolls are marsupials native to Australia and New Guinea and are so cute! More people need to know about them especially since most species of quoll are threatened or endangered

I feel like (unless you live in aus) most people when you say possum just think of an opossum and i want to change that! Ringtail Possums are another marsupial native to Australia and they are just sweet little eepy guys!

Star Keepers are these little dragon/fluffy snake type wermz that protect a small infant stars! They nearly always have their signature star patterns on their backs but some can have less stars or even completely lack those stars! They are sweet gentile creatures

This werm has more complex shading compared to my other wermz too. zebra shark!! I think this guy turned out really silly! My GF loves these sharks so i turned one into a werm >:3c Tho im not completely happy with their fins and i wanna go back and tweak them

Why do you want to be an artist for WERMZ?: For almost a year now it’s been my goal to become a werm artist for no good reason other than to create havoc on the wermz world by creating ridiculously overly cute wermiez! And .. Possibly join the wermz government rights train and spread its “Ronnie 4 president” filled propaganda... On a more serious note, I would love to be able to provide and give back to a community that openly gave its best and continued to provide for its community in such a fun manner!!

A fairly simple array of standard wermz! Each werm was meant to have a different design/palette to display a little bit of my designing capabilities with a touch of personality for a few. Minus the two cream + primary colored wermz.

The first two customs are based of two of my favorite aesthetics which I wanted to try my hand at wermifiying!
,,,mushroom bun, a shy werm taking solace in the quiet gentle smells of her lavender basket. :D

Tell us a bit about this werm/s: Litters:

Painter wermz- (I’m aware there’s already a concept around painters in wermz already however, I wanted to try my hand at the concept with a different approach! Thus these guys were born!) There’s only two outcomes currently but the idea overall is that the litter is based off a bunch of popular traditional painters! With a little wermie twist of course.. These two don’t cater to any painter in particular, they simply cater to their interests. One paints about its one true love.. arson. And the other paints about the inner peace wermz feel time to time.

Retro wermz- Simple litter of upbeat wermz and their funky tvs


Bumbling birds- Another lot of simple wermz! Not sure why they look so nervous though..


Balloney and beyond wermz- A clown themed litter featuring a werm inspired ballon animal! The litter in general would be based on a mix of traditional and modern clowns using various bright colors. :> The colored variants are an example of how they’d look along with the blank base!


Fairy Soirée wermz-
For these little guys I ended up listening to Melanie Martinez’s latest song from her album portals and got inspired to create a set of lines featuring a loosely fairy themed werm and her butterfly friends. The one below is based off the season of autumn.


Pajama party wermz-
Probably the simplest of the lot! These in particular were made simple on purpose to focus on the design aspect as well as its simplicity! :> the litter would feature various jammy designs along with preset and random markings!

Why do you want to be an artist for WERMZ?: ever since I discovered wermz, back in January/Feb around the Charm event, I've been so obsessed with these guys!! I think they're so cool, and the discord server is my favorite place to be. Everyone in there is so epic, and fun, and I really would love to be a bigger part of the community and give back! I also feel like this is something I could commit to since I recently slimmed down my activity on other umas and drawing is my main hobby, as well as the fact that my classes are easing into a better schedule :3 I've put a lot of time into these application wermz which proved that i could commit, mostly for myself lol! I have wanted artist apps for sooo long but when they finally arrived I panicked a little bit 😭 it took me way too long to come up with ideas I deemed worthy but I hope you like them!! I hope you love them as much as I do, every hour spent was way fun, and thank you SOOO much for considering me to be a part of this team!! xx

Tell us a bit about this werm/s: for these first wermz, I was trying to generate ideas and thought hey... wermz with skirts. I love skirts. I relegated a lot of my own outfit style into these one and kept the line edits generally minimal- just a werm in some funky clothes <33

Tell us a bit about this werm/s: For these wermz, I have a Venus flytrap I love very much, named Maccers/Mac for short the first green gradient werm is based off of him, and for the others I was experimenting with colors n patterns :3 I really like these lines !

I thought doing a bee would be too basic of me, lol, so I went with the next best thing... moths!! Fluffy little cretures... instead of doing the typical stringy antenna I went with something a little softer looking! I'm pretty proud of these lines.

Why do you want to be an artist for WERMZ?: I want to bring more Wermz into existence through giveaways and other means to make people happy and share my love for Wermz while also helping me learn new digital art techniques. This community has been so wonderful and welcoming and giving and I really want to be able to give back through customs to the best of my ability and supply new funnies and cuties to new and old denizens of Eaden alike. I love Wermz dearly and I want to spread that love! They may not be the wildest or prettiest looking Wermz but, I am definitely enjoying making them because it turns out that making Customs and Odd Wermz is really fun to me. As I've been making more and more Wermz for the artist app, I'm finding that I'm actually getting increasingly better with the digital art and making of Wermz.

These odd looking fellows are the results of testing myself to make fun and unusual looking Wermz without massively changing the base while also trying to draw new to me things. Also the Clean Laundry Line came about from a misunderstanding with my lover whom I thought was suggesting that I make a laundry Werm when actually they were telling me to DO the laundry.

Why do you want to be an artist for WERMZ?: This is a little scary, but I'm an artist who is looking for something I deeply enjoy to keep my creative energy flowing. I adore the wermz community, and UMAs as a whole, and despite being on CS for 10 years, I only discovered the magical concept of umas a year ago! Ever since I've discovered them, however, I've fallen in love with the entire thing. Wermz are my personal favorite uma, and I would love to contribute more to the community through my art. I've had a goal since I discovered wermz, and that was to eventually become an artist among the other wonderful artists who currently create the cute little goobers. These funky little guys have gotten me through a lot of art block thanks to their simple shape, and I really enjoy getting detailed with drawing the wermz I've collected over time. Overall, I look forward to contributing to a community that has brought me lots of joy !

Tell us a bit about this werm/s:
The first werm is inspired by a Dynastes tityus beetle! I decided for the line edit version of the werm, I was going to do my more detailed style of shading to showcase my skill in that area, as well as my color theory. I deeply enjoy detailed lil pixel art guys.

For the standard werm, I decided to focus more on a simple style, but still add in a pop of detail with the blinking eye. I am an animation student and would love to add some animation to wermz if possible! Since this is a standard werm, I went with a basic blink, though I am aware this is unlikely to appear in an actual standard werm. It's more of a small example of ability than anything.

Why do you want to be an artist for WERMZ?:
I enjoy making things for people, having talent, and using it to bring something to life. I like being able to have an idea and bringing it to life with some time and love. Wermz was the UMA that got me into UMA's when I first joined CS, It ignited a light I didn't even know was out and it's continued to burn and glow brighter as I continue my journey through UMAs. Just being able to contribute to something so good would be an honor.

Tell us a bit about this werm/s: I wanted to start off with some less edited Wermz, so I thought "Why not smooth them out a little?" and then added a little twist to the tail and some ears to give some more character. With the simple line edits, I went a little heavier into details into the design/pattern, adding some extra color and flare to some simple stripes.

Tell us a bit about this werm/s: This Werm was also more of a simple design, adding some extra fluff to the base and giving it a whispy/wind-ruffled look.

Tell us a bit about this werm/s: For this, I wanted something squishy and round, I had plenty of sketches with fur, sharp edges, detailed demons. I felt something soft and silly while still detailed and loved would expand my portfolio. The pattern was inspired by koi fish, I felt the speckled and spotted patterns would fit the overall theme and look of the werm.

Tell us a bit about this werm/s: Silly moose guys. mostly to play with simple designs with natural colors vs unnatural colors. I think it turned out well.

Tell us a bit about this werm/s: Like most of my ideas and entrees, I had no real inspiration. I just had an idea of a werm curled around a pocket watch or compass and went with it. This has Two sets, 3 with the watch and 3 with the compass. Not much really changes besides what is in the locket on the wermz tail.

Tell us a bit about this werm/s: With this werm, I wanted nothing but limbs. And that's what I did. This has Four sets, each adding an extra set of limbs. Set 1 includes: 1 set of arms and 1 tail, Set 2 includes: 2 sets of arms and 2 tails, Set 3 includes: 3 sets of arms and 3 tails, and finally, Set 4 includes: 4 sets of arms and 5 tails. I have included some of each set.

Why do you want to be a breeding artist for WERMZ?
Wermz is the first UMA I joined. The community is great and I feel safe being in it. I am a socially anxious person but the Wermz community has helped me a lot with that and I feel like I have made friends here. I was very shy and timid at first, unsure if I should join this UMA or not. I am glad I did. The mods and artist are all really nice and helpful. I want to help create, inspire and give back. Wermz reignited my creative spark. I want to do the same.
I don't have experience in working with UMAs. Wermz would be my first UMA I would be in.
I hope to learn and grow more within this community.
