Inia sat with her two verdant friends just outside the Guild HQ. As Pennyroyal chatted away with Marco, and Guilla inspected the wares for sale, Inia looked out towards the Outskirts, imagining the Ruins and the Lab and the Wastelands stretching beyond. How she'd managed to convince these, at the time, near-strangers to leave their safe enclave and explore...she didn't know. She thought about how many adventures they'd had, the strange things they'd seen, the curious characters they'd met, and of course, all the mischief they'd gotten into.

"Inia!" chirped Pennyroyal, snapping her from her stupor. The winged werm re-focused her eyes just in time to see Pennyroyal bounding up to her with Guilla trundling close behind. "Look!"

In her small claws lay a set of shiny rings.

"They're for each of us. Y'know, for the big one-oh-oh! Here, let me--"

And before Inia could process, Pennyroyal was in her space, pinning a pair of rings to her jacket collar. Her paws gently brushed the nape of her neck as she fastened them in place. Once they were properly situated, Pennyroyal ran a single small claw over them, making them sing together with a tiny clink.

Seeing her friends together, fresh jackets now a collage of patches, pins, and thread, brought a sheen of mist to Inia's magenta eyes.

"You're...you don't like them?" asked Guilla, leafy brow furrowed.

"NOILOVETHEMILOVEYOUGUYSOKLET'SGO" shouted Inia, dragging her friends behind her to the Wastelands. Who knew what they'd get into? At least Inia knew for certain that whatever it was, they'd get into it together.
