Extra: Guilla cradles the rock the trio found yesterday tightly. They seem to have a deep affection for the small and looked-over things of this world. They travel back to the signpost and hold the small rock aloft for their...friend to see, hoping to share the small wonder with them.

Guilla scans, and then they see it, how could they miss it, the familiar geometric stain of light just far enough from the Outskirts and Ruins to be obscured by hills and half-collapsed buildings on the ground. Without a second thought, Guilla takes off running towards it, determined to catch the phenomenon before it fades from their claws again. They stand at the foot of the worn down sign, staring at the motionless...werm(?) the rest of the evening...

The two wermz stand against the elements, like sea stacks flecked with ocean spray. The lightshow doesn’t just draw Guilla’s attention, though…

Someone new shows up in the wee hours of the night—another werm. He hop-skips over some narrow scaffolding and drops down into the dirt. If the two strange wermz are like sea stacks, then the edge of the city is like a great cliff, plunging into the sea of the outlying wasteland.

The newcomer approaches the gathering with equal parts caution and fascination. There’s a greedy glint in his eye.
