Halloween Event
Runs from October 1st to October 31st.

Information
In this event, you will have the opportunity to earn owls, accessories, and pumpkins. Pumpkins are a Halloween Event-only currency that can be used to buy event items, or can be saved up for the Halloween raffle!

More Info on Pumpkins
Pumpkins can be won by participating in some of the different games set up for this event.
Pumpkins are similar to opals in that you can buy things with them, but pumpkins can only be used to buy Halloween Event items. The Halloween store, where you can spend your pumpkins, is down at the bottom of this post.
However, you don't have to spend your pumpkins! On the last day of October, which is Halloween of course, there will be a huge raffle for 50 opals! Every pumpkin that isn't spent by the rollover to November 1st will be converted to a raffle ticket.

Game 1: Trivia
Every few days, there will be a trivia question about me, Opalescent Owls, the OO staff, or something related to Halloween here. The first person to answer it correctly will get 5 pumpkins!

Game 2: Scavenger Hunt
I have gone through my posts on this thread, and in 4 of them, I have hidden this little ghost. The first four users to find the posts with a ghost and quote them will receive prizes. After all 4 ghosts have been found, I will remove them and hide 4 more. You may find one ghost per rotation.
No ghosts are currently hidden.

Game 3: Boo!
Every so often, I will post the word "Boo!" on this thread. The first person to post after me will win 5 pumpkins.

The primary currency used in Iridescia is opals. These are used to pay for customs and store items, among other things. Other currencies and their uses can be seen in the chart below.

Prices
Plain custom owl - free
Common feature - free
Rare feature - 2 opal per feature
Legendary feature - 4 opals per feature
Accessory/item that isn't in the store - 10 opals per accessory
Pet that isn't turtle or bird - 10 opals per accessory
Design based off of a real owl species - 10 opals
Any kind of difficult animation- 20 opals per feature

Other Currencies
To use these, just include that you are using them in your form.
Opals Opals are used to pay for the various goods in Iridescia.
Rubies 5 rubies allow a user to adventure twice a month. Only obtainable through adventures.
Emeralds 3 emeralds allow a user to enter into a raffle litter twice. Only obtainable through adventures.
Sapphires 10 sapphires allow a user to get a custom owl of any rarity for free. Only obtainable through adventures.
