Welcome to the Redwood Valley Equestrian Centre Bank: Your equine-friendly stop for all things financial! We all know how much our four-legged partners drain our savings, so we're here to help make things easier.
In order to buy, sell, or otherwise exchange money on RVEC, you must open a bank account. It's your responsibility to keep your account up to date, and if you don't, you will be unable to breed, compete, purchase items, or even adopt a horse in some instances. Fortunately we've got a pretty easy formula to help you out with this, so just look below to see how to set your account up! And remember: You must link to your bank account post any time you complete any sort of transaction in order for it to be official. Any users found to be committing fraud will be fined and have their horses seized.
Okay! Are you ready to get your account set up? Fantastic! Just look over the example below and then copy the form into your own bank account post <3

Make sense? To explain, the username is, of course, your username. The account holder is the name of the barn owner or the person who otherwise manages this bank account -- they don't have to be the same person, and please don't use your own name. The barn is for whichever barn your character owns so that that barn's finances can be tracked; if you have multiple barns, please make separate accounts for each barn. The starting balance of any new barn is 10,000c. The date opened is the day you posted your bank account for the first time, which also helps make it look more official since we could get the same information from the post itself, although it does make a difference for any additional barns you purchase in the future. As a side note, please keep all bank accounts on the same post, even if they're for different barns!
The opening balance of any bank account will always be 10,000c, and this number cannot be changed. For any expenses, please color them red and include how much it cost and what, specifically, it was for. Writing "Purchase" or "Expense" or even "Bought horse" isn't enough -- it needs to be able to be traced back to a specific purchase. Likewise, for any profits, please color them green and include how much you received and what, specifically, it was for. Writing "Stud fee" is not enough; writing "Stud fee from Surefire Glory Dayz breeding" is perfect. Finally, the final balance must always add up from the starting balance plus profits minus expenses; if it doesn't, you'll need to go back over your math again! Please do not remove any expenses or profits from the list at any time, even if they're "old." Doing so may impede our ability to track finances and make sure no errors have been made. Other than these rules, however, you do have a lot of freedom with your bank account, so feel free to format it, sort it, and change color shades around as you please.
