Entry: ophelia LOVES easter! to celebrate, she makes these special easter eggs using her own recipe. they have lots of honey in them and are VERY sweet, so are a bit of an acquired taste.. but, once you get used to them, they are incredible! she hides them around the meadow for the fawns to find. she actually got the recipe from her grandpa, who used to raise bees, just like her. on the actual day of easter, ophelia usually just stays home and thinks about the things she's grateful for. she's not spiritual, but she can always appreciate a bit of meditation. :)

GD Easter Prompt Entry!
Entry: Sol watched other deer rush forward looking for eggs in the Plaza, but they hesitated. Instead of going towards the middle where there were a number of obvious eggs they instead decided to walk along the outside edge of the defined area and paid particular attention to the trees and building edges. Let the younger and shorter deer get the eggs on the ground, Sol would focus on those hidden in branches and tucked into windowsills. There were a few particularly well hidden that had small pieces of tape to hold them in place. Finding those made Sol feel very accomplished. In the end Sol ended up with perhaps fewer eggs then they might have gotten had they been more focused on winning, but the smiling faces of the other deer with overflowing baskets certainly made up for it.
