Lambicorns Halloween // The Maze (Day 15)

THE CORN MAZE

There's a corn maze ahead—tall and slightly imposing. Faint flickers of light can be seen through the stalks, deep within. A handpainted sign above the entrance declares: "NO FLYING!" If you're a lambicorn with wings or flight abilities, they're appropriately unusable here, it seems.

This maze will last until someone makes it through first!
This will be a daily (or mostly-daily) activity where you choose a direction or action to see what will happen.
There are prizes within, and the promise of a special reward for the winner!

You may choose to move or act once per "day" (listed in the title). So, you choose for Day 1, and then must wait until the title says Day 2 to move/act again. If it's solved quick enough, we may do another round!

A bit hesitant, Monarchia enters the maze. She wasn't sure if she would be able to escape from it, but it's not fun to be afraid of new.
Soon after, she encounters a crossroads. She thinks that sensed a certain delicious smell coming from the right side... or it was that she was feeling hungry, but she chose that path just in case.

at hearing the instructions for the maze, pony let out a loud, cocky laugh.
"oh, darling, this will be a breeze. my sense of direction is unparalleled."
tightening their skates, giving them a test roll, they gave a sly grin and dashed off into the maze without a moment's notice,
seemingly not thinking about any direction they take.
taking a sudden, sharp left, they disappeared into the shadows.

Tapioca stared at the maze entrance. Part of her wanted to stop, to try and peek in both directions before the proceeded. She'd always picked going straight for most things, but... that wasn't an option at the moment.

Adjusting her mask and peering into the dark of the maze, she held her breath and swerved left.

Violette hums softly, as she considers her choices. Summoning a bit of fire to her horn for light, she decides there are less shadows to the left, and thusly why not try that side first? If nothing else it should prove an adventure, and that was exactly why she was here. Onwards!

Suki eyed the maze, considering what direction to go before she saw Ebbie and Leo making a dash down the right side, she panicked and shouted before she ran in after the two young lambabies, almost tripping over the sleeve of her sweater/costume as she did so.

We should go right she whispered.

"What makes you say that?" He asked her, glancing over at the hazy form of the Elder of the sun.

I just feel like this is the path for us she laughed and faded from view as he turned and stepped onto the path that led to the right

Lamby trembled in fear, but she wouldnt let her claustrophobia get to her this time! There was no roof after all in this. . . tight, and d-dark maze-

She stomped her hooves trying to get rid of the thought and marched to the right. "It-Its safeeee. . . right?" she reassured herself while her wings hugged her lambie plushie tightly.

The group of Lambies seemed to pause upon giving the options. Despite it being a simple left or right, Morgrim felt himself stress over the decision, conversing to himself a small bit as if to try and figure out things before going forward. He looked over to the others, seeing that Liam and Kai were also doing their part to figure out the best option. However, Abigor huffed softly, walking in front of the younger lambies and speaking with a somewhat ominous tone. "Alright you three, it's about time someone teaches you about proper maze navigation. It's not guaranteed to have us win, but at the very lease it'll make sure we aren't stuck here."

"First, Liam- put one of your paws on the right wall. We'll go right and move close to the wall." Liam nodded, casually placing his paw against the stalks of corn to his right. "Second, Tremaux’s Rule. No backtracking, and if we have to backtrack we take paths we haven't taken before. Got it?" That got a nod from Morgrim and Kai, Kai being the one to take a small pin from his hair, taking it to a corn stalk deeper into the wall of corn, making it somewhat hidden from the outside, but having a clear marking of the direction they went. "Perfect, now let's get moving."
