Notes
- Age range 17-18, all characters are seniors.
- This is meant to be a somewhat relaxed, typical high school roleplay with the twist of it being set with supernatural creatures/monsters as students instead and some plot points and drama/mystery to explore.
- Additionally, if you'd like your character to be (one of the ones) causing said drama, PM me to let me know. You can choose what it is they do. I'd be looking for 2-3 of these.

Lara Tide | 18 | Female | Swimming Team
Pronouns: She/Her

Appearance: Lara has black, elbow-length hair that is somewhat wavy, and is usually in a half-up half-down ponytail, or in a braid when she's swimming. Her eyes are dark brown in colour, and have a slight almond, cat-like shape to them, usually with dark brown eyeliner to highlight this. She stands at 5'8'', and has an athletic build with a little bit of muscle. She often stands with a relaxed, confident posture. She has an oval face shape, with slightly wider but not prominent cheekbones, and an overall smooth jawline and outline. Lara has a medium olive skin tone, with a few freckles. She also has fin-like ears, and faint scales on the sides of her forehead, going down her temples to the top of her cheekbones - these scales become more noticeable in her siren form as they change colour to an iridescent oil slick colour.
In her siren form, her tail is black that shines like an oil slick under the light, much like her face scales. The fins on her tail are flowy, with the same iridescent quality, and also has fins on her forearms. The gills on the sides of her neck are also more noticeable, especially if she under water.

Personality: Lara is impatient and judgemental. She makes it quite clear if she doesn't like you, and is not really friends with anyone outside of those that also play sports. As the 'leader' of the swimming team, she considers the rest of the team to be almost like an 'entourage' of sorts. She's confident, cocky, and not afraid to talk back to anyone that tries to give her sass - she has been known to have punched students before, but got away with only a detention because of her place on the swimming team and the awards she brings home to the academy. She doesn't go looking for a fight, but she'll certainly put those in their place that don't get the hint to back down - or if they wound her pride. Lara is, however, secretly terrified of failure. In her home, failure was simply not an option, and so she simply has to be the best because there's no other way for her. That, and showing any sort of empathy and kindness was a weakness, so she struggles with letting herself even briefly show that side of her. For those that she may let herself get close to, she is very protective and deeply loyal towards them - as well as show a much friendlier, gentler side to her, though as mentioned, struggles with letting herself do this.

Bio/History: Her parents are champion athletes in swimming, water polo and diving. It's no surprise that this is how they met, and once they eventually had to retire out of their sport champion days, decided to start their family. They knew right from the start that they wanted to raise champion athletes, and had three children. Lara is the middle child, with an older sister and a younger brother. Her sister is already off at a college on a sports scholarship, taking the path forged by their parents, and it looks as though Lara is going in the same direction. There was no choice in the matter, so Lara convinced herself she loves the sport and training and certainly acts like it. Failing, her parents said, was just not an option. If you lose, then you train harder. Well... she's come this far, it's way too late to want to even try something else, right?

Kaori Niboshi | 17 | Female | Artist

Appearance: Kaori has long, dark brown hair that reaches to just above her waist, and is usually left loose and straight. She does not have a face, although can 'manifest' a slight, white outline of eyes, nose and a mouth to be less unnerving - regardless, she's not really got a face. She stands at 5'4'', and has a lithe, athletic build. She has a fairly relaxed, though not slouchy, posture, and is able to float and pass through objects, being a type of ghost. Kaori has a fair skin tone, with no particular markings to note, and she has a round face shape with no particularly prominent features... quite literally.

Personality: Kaori is fairly shy, quite insecure about the fact that most other students... well, have faces of some sort. She often wonders what it'd be like to be able to express herself in that way. However, she is still friendly and helpful, even if she does sometimes get a bit lost in the background or forgotten about. She does sometimes have quite the tendency to accidentally sneak up on others and surprise them because of this. Kaori warms up more to others on the second meeting, and will be more talkative - though still perhaps a bit shy and quiet, but this is just how she is. She appreciates those that make her feel more seen, even if she's just hanging in the background of a group or conversation. She can be a bit of a perfectionist, and has quite the tendency to stay up in the art studio classrooms working on a piece if she's not yet happy with it - even with her ability to pass through walls, she had been caught a few times by the night janitor or a teacher - and then being tired the next day because of this.

Bio/History: While her parents would perhaps prefer if she spent her time scaring humans, Kaori has instead turned her attention to art. Drawing and painting, being able to express herself in a way she cannot normally gives her a great sense of happiness. While she normally lives in Japan, her parents not wanting to move anywhere else, Kaori is one of the international students at Wyrmwood Academy, living in the dormitories as part of their boarding programme. She is a little nervous about moving back home after graduation, and is trying not to think about it too much. She is looking forward to seeing where she can go with her art, though, having garnered quite a lot of praise from her teachers - although they do admonish her for sneaking into the art classrooms at night to continue working when she should be sleeping.

Brio Spring | 17 | Male | Musician

Appearance: Brio has short, slightly grown out to just to his ears, dark green hair that sometimes looks a little messy, and has a straight texture. His eyes are a deep, forest green colour and have a slight prominent shape to them. He is 6'0'', though is it not always noticeable because he is in a wheelchair. He has a somewhat lithe build, and holds himself with a good posture. Brio has a tanned skin tone with a few patches of pale skin, indicating his vitiligo. Even his wings, which are quite big, and look very much like an Atlas moth, have a few patches of white. His ears are also slightly pointed, and he has a heart-shaped face with a sharp jawline and prominent cheekbones, as well as having a bit of a widow's peak on his hairline.

Personality: Brio is a bright, warm being, often willing to speak to anyone that would like to speak to him - but he will be careful to avoid those that he knows aren't the friendly sort. He's sweet, with something of an innocent, naïve air about him - and perhaps he can be a little too trusting of others, though he's not quite as easy to manipulate as one might think. He can be quick to turn sharp, especially if someone touches him or his wheelchair without permission, and will run someone's foot over if they don't get the hint. A bit of a free spirit, he does what he likes to do and doesn't let himself be restricted by social conventions. Brio is also very much an environment-forward person - he recycles everything that he can, focuses on low/no-waste products, and is a vegan. Even his parents grow their own vegetables in a large patch in their garden, and use solar panels - but he does have a tendency to be quite preachy about it, which perhaps means others sometimes avoid him for this.

Bio/History: Brio grew up next to the large forest on the other side of town, the eldest child of his parents, and has four younger siblings, two sisters and two brothers. His parents adore and have strong environmental-based values that they passed onto their children, especially Brio, but also acknowledge the unavoidable advances of modern technology and living. Brio is an ambulatory wheelchair user, and has been since he was around 8 - meaning he is able to stand/walk, but just for a short amount of time. He can still fly, but it is exhausting to constantly fly, so it is just easier and preferred to use his wheelchair, which has a low back to accommodate his wings. Brio also grew up with quite the penchant for music. He started learning to play the violin at the age of 9, and then the harp from 14 - both of which he still plays, of course. Brio is uncertain about what he wants to end up doing - perhaps become part of an orchestra for a theatre - but plans to take a gap year after graduating high school before he goes to college to hopefully study music, so that he can explore and figure out what it is he really wants to do.

Appearance: Sofia's body is composed of soft red terra cotta clay, encased within a hardened porcelain shell. The combination gives her a doll-like appearance, though there's nothing dainty about her 6'4" frame and muscular build. Her faceplate is sculpted into a statuesque visage with a sharp jawline, and she typically keeps her "hair" molded into a pixie cut, and painted black. Her white porcelain skin is spiderwebbed with dark streaks, places where her shell has cracked and been repaired with laquer. She'll also usually have some doodle or sketch somewhere on her, the art kids like using her as a canvas. She stands unnaturally straight and still, and her face doesn't move, her voice echoing out from behind it.

Personality: Sofia is laid-back and easygoing. She might not be the brightest bulb on the tree, but her calm demeanor and casual confidence make her a very easy person to get along with. She's got friends all over the school, and even those that don't like her find it hard to really hate her. She's incredibly loyal to her friends, and won't hesitate to step in and defend them, but she's not really a fighter, even if she's more than capable of holding her own. When she is roused to anger her wrath is terrible to behold, but it takes a lot to get her to that point. Her gregarious exterior isn't totally a facade, but she's definitely not as quite as happy as she appears to be. When she's alone, or around those she really trusts, she lets the mask drop for a bit, but it's not something she does often.

Bio/History: Despite her generally relaxed appearance, Sofia had a pretty rough upbringing. Her mother raised her alone, and though she never asked where her father went it was pretty clear the parting wasn't amicable. She grew up poor, her mother working two jobs to make sure they had enough supplies to maintain themselves, and even now she spends most of her time off at her part-time job to help with the bills. She's hoping that she can make a career out of football (it's not necessarily normal for a girl to play, but who would say no to a literal brick wall for a linebacker?), but she tries not to let the stress she's under show. People have enough problems, they don't need her problems too.

Nisala Rainai | 18 | Female | Swim Team

Appearance: Standing at about 4'11, Nisala is a lithe little thing with thick, pale silvery fur. Her build makes it possible for her to move either on two or four legs, while she is usually on two in school she's actually more comfortable on four and that's when she's at her fastest and most nimble -- she's gotten in trouble for running full speed on all fours when late for practice more than once. Her eyes are probably the most unusual and striking thing about her, a bright red-orange, while her coat is dotted with darker rosettes and her face is marked with a few stripes. Most trying to pin down what 'type of cat' she is would likely try to call her a domestic breed -- the bengal -- though she's actually closer to their ancestors, the leopard cat.

Personality: Playing against a perceived 'cat-like' type, Nisala seems like a very outgoing and friendly person. She's casually physically affectionate with any one who hasn't shown any sign of being uncomfortable with it, though in a very cat way -- a lot of bumping her head against arms or heads and sprawling across laps. Because of this people tend to assume she's a lot dumber than she actually is, something she seems to encourage as she prefers the safety of being underestimated and overlooked in conversation. She always knows more gossip than people expect but usually keeps it to herself unless she sees a reason to drop a little tidbit casually and watch the rumors spread like wildfire -- usually in retaliation for slights against those she really cares about.
That said, her friendliness isn't a facade, its just much harder to see the rest of her underneath -- hurting, a little vengeful, and desperate for any attention she can get -- than anyone realizes.

Bio/History: It's a bit of a running joke among the team that she just kinda wandered into a swim practice and never left -- mostly stemming from the idea that cats dislike water and the fact that she ended up joining... accidentally, not long after transferring in during her sophomore year. Nonetheless despite her start she's actually startling impressive in the water, she is not a pity pick or a team pet like opposing teams may imply -- Nisala can swim and she will prove it.
Much of her home life is unknown to the other students, which is by design. All is really public knowledge is that she's boarding in a dorm at the academy. The truth is she's the only one left of her immediate family, once her, her parents, and four siblings -- and no one at all knows what actually happened. Nisala was the only survivor and witness and she will not speak of it, shuts down anytime someone tried. She bounced around between relatives for a few years afterwards until eventually they decided to send her to the academy in a desire to give her a more stable and normal life. Which, in many ways, it has.
She doesn't really have any set-in-stone goals past high school -- not really viewing her swimming abilities as something that would give her any sort of scholarship. She's actually deeply interested in the sciences, astronomy in particular, and those are always her highest grades, but she is uncertain if that interest could be made into a career.

He’s a little shorter than other boys, and slender. He has long black and white hair that goes to his mid back. He has beautiful eyes, and he has markings on his face. They are purple, and the same markings appear on his Kitsune form as well.

Personality:
Ryota is an adventurous and yet aloof (not much though) type of boy. He’s cuddly but cold if angered, daring but dense a bit. He’s an efficient male, but sometimes energy deficient. As in at times he seems like he has no energy, and doesn’t want to do anything. He’s gentle but gets overwhelmed, and he’s happy but headshy. He’s intelligent but icy if angered. Ryota is joyful but jumpy at times. Finally, he’s soft, sweet, silly, but shy, stubborn, and he has a strong will which might put some people off.

Bio/History:
Ryota was born eighteen years ago to his father and mother. His mother teaches at an elementary school. He actually went to that elementary school, so he got to see her. It’s a school just for supernatural creatures, just as this high school is. He was raised with care and love. He has six or so other siblings, and he loves them all and they love him as well. He’s excited for his last year of school, though he’ll miss being here. He’s ready to graduate, but he’s also having fun in the theater program.

He’s a little shorter, and quite pretty looking. He has lavender colored shoulder length hair, and usually puts clips in it. His ears and tail are lavender colored as well. He has a variety of clothes, but seems to most like skirts, stockings, and shirts with a flower on them.

Personality:
Lavender is an adventurous but aloof individual. He’s cuddly but cold if angered, fun loving but fierce to a degree. Lavender is gentle but gets overwhelmed by certain things. He’s happy but headshy as well. He’s intelligent, but icy also if he’s angered bad enough. It’s rare to see him angry. However, it is possible to see him angry. He’s loving and loyal, but loud and likes mischief at times. He’s playful but peevable, and he’s soft, sweet, silly, but shy, stubborn, and strong of will which some people might not like.

Bio/History:
Lavender was born seventeen years ago to Amethyst. He has no dad, because she didn’t want to be married and just wanted to have a baby. She got a surrogate, since she had medical problems anyway. She cared for and loved Lavender, and he’s grown up well. He entered the Academy, and has been here about three or so years now. He knew he always loved art. That’s why he joined the Artist group at the Academy. He especially loves to draw, and use colored pencils, but he’s okay at painting as well.

She’s probably considered average height for a girl, and she’s slender but not too slender. She has long luscious red hair. Her eyes are a deeply brown color, and framed by longer lashes. Her ears and tail can show when she’s angry, like really angry, over excited, terrified or sick. Her ears and tail are also red. Her wolf form is large, and is that of a typical red wolf, so red with a bit of brownish and off white or just plain white. She has a variety of clothes. She really likes that dress though, and she has fashion boots.

Personality:
Jesi is a cuddly girl, but can be cold if angered badly enough. She’s fun loving but fiery, gentle but gets overwhelmed, and happy usually but headshy. She’s intelligent but icy also if angered badly enough. It’s rare to see her angry like that, since she bottles things up. She’s joyful but jumpy, loyal but loud at times. She’s noble but nervous, as well as being playful and yet peevable. Jesi is soft and sweet, however she’s also and stubborn. She’s willing to listen to problems and worries, but she’s withdrawn at times.

Bio/History:
Jesi was born eighteen years ago, to her father and mother. She already had an older sister and an older brother. They were soon joined by a younger brother, then years later a younger sister. Her sister is only eight now, and her older sibling came out as trans recently. She was raised with care and love. Her parents weren’t happy at first about the coming out of her sibling…but they’re getting used to it now. She came out to them as well. Now, she’s at the Academy but she’s just a Wallflower.
