outlands discussion, new wolf pack rp, immediate start

a family in ruins, defenseless and on the run across territory once forbidden as the outlands, unfamiliar to the whelps, aunties, and prior known den-mothers who have ever only known serenity in their lifetimes. the ground ripped from beneath them and thrust head first into a definitive era. the queen is dead, our alpha lost in the defensives along with any from the fighting troops. the pack has been lost. hope, it seems, is thriving. amongst the survivors are the remaining trickles of royal blood, the alpha's heirs; all true sisters each with a drive for greatness, each with a claim to the crown. yielded from the two successful litters of the alpha and queen four daughters were born, two from either. their claims are all equal by right under pack law however preparedness is another topic. diplomacy, grace, the queen mother mentality is all they've been taught, in preparation of fruitful lives spent as queens in their own packs.
the only issue is the lack of training, not only for the sisters, but what remains of the pack. those who have been recovered are not the fighters who've witnessed hardship and been forced to adapt, nor are they the skilled hunters entrusted to seek out and nourish the pack. they're care providers, puppy 101, they retain very basic attributes that have never been utilized in any situation beyond teaching fundamentals. all have endured the lessons well learned, some have been the ones to teach, now is the time for putting those lessons to the test.
awaiting in the outlands are challenges unforeseen. what lurks in the shadow entirely we do not know, the rumors of the loners have sparked up again and has left an unease over the pack wolves. pups are at the wandering age where anything ill fated has the possibility of befalling their vulnerable lives, their mother and aunties hold them closer. the four sisters have much distress to ease, as well as much to prove of themselves, for the sake of their pack. could a sibling rivalry topple the hierarchy, or the sisters decide to lead together? how are they to defend against the possible threat of the loners? or to begin to reestablish the pack?

RULES
.:of course these aren't to be broken, and include the site rules, which I'll just reiterate below so we are all clear.
.:no gore, or breeding scenes, use a fade to black for anything that could be considered unpleasant. injuries, deaths, births, and mates are all allowed, however detailed descriptions of any of these will result in moderator action.
.:anything forced or abusive in nature will also result in moderator action.
.:discuss with other players before creating any big developments that directly involve their character. fights, rivalries, crushes, siblings, etc.
.:have a manageable amount of characters, I'll set the limit at 10 for now, however this includes any characters made during role-play like pups or loners, and should all have some identifiable personality/meaningful relationships with the other characters.
.:if you would like a role as one of the sisters it's fcfs, no reservations, and there is only one sister role available to a user, only four in total.
.:if you wish to have your own characters have relationships between them (parents and children, siblings, or even your own mate) feel welcome to do so, within CS guidelines as stated before. mate relationships are not permanent and are open to change within the role-play, or remain the same, just remember to discuss with the owner(s) of any involved characters first!
.:I will not be approving characters, as long as they have basic info for a reference you may jump into the role-play, no wait times. images not required. name, age, appearance, personality are a must. post all references to the discussion thread.
.:dramatics and romance are encouraged for those that enjoy ping such things, in moderation. licks and nuzzles may be exchanged, however nipping or biting during romantic scenes is a no go! simple and sweet, no extensive details, fades to black if applicable (i.e. explicit mating or birthing scenes). and do not attempt to take such details to pm! graphic content is not allowed to be posted on CS.


PACK RULES
.:these are able to be broken, as they only pertain to the pack. they are subject to change based on role-play developments, the sisters may discuss and implement new rules as they see fit during rp.
.:Alpha is our leader, whoever it may be, determined based upon ability to provide for and protect the pack.
.:feed order is portioned at meal time, based on the size of the catch. if a secondary kill isn't produced for the alpha, their share will come from the original catch, and they will be given first selection. then are the mothers, pups that consume solids, the aunties and hunters and fighters follow in no particular order.
.:an order is an order no matter your rank, and you must fulfill said given order.
.:killing other wolves is beyond pack law, and could result in being driven from the pack due to safety concerns.
.:never venture into the outlands, doing so is considered abandoning the pack.

UPDATES/ADDITIONAL INFO
welcome to the rp, I hope that we can have some fun with this! if I left anything unclear or there is a concern, please message me! I promise I don't bite and I can sometimes be a nice chat. anyways, yes, our setting is a miserable one as you've come to understand; what remains of the alpha and queen are their four daughters, in the midst of an unprovoked attack those who had lingered behind were forced to retreat into an under explored area known as the outlands. this place has been forbidden to the pack for as long as any can remember, a place only for the exiles. the area is densely forested as far as we can tell, however that may not always be the case; the foliage is difficult to maneuver and a heavy downpour seeping through the canopy only makes it worse. the visibility is not great here while the scent trails are being washed away. panic is brewing as those who have grouped together search for the rest of the escapees. now, these are made up of mothers, pup sitters, litters of various ages (a few years down to a few months/weeks), those who wouldn't have seen any of the battle, and instead would have been hunkered down in a den somewhere. not every one of them is accounted for due to a split in the group during the departure. the hope is to leave an easy opening for introductions for everyone, since everything is very scattered at the moment we'll be starting.
though we aren't dealing with the pack alone. loners are rumored to lurk just beyond the treeline, swallowed up by the shadows they reside in, and the very thought has unsettled the pack greatly. the only reason to not have a pack is to be deemed unworthy through some means, something outside of pack law. but the pack is crumpled now and the laws with it; could it be time to give them another chance, or best to fear them? there are pups to protect, after all. as long as the role numbers are balanced, loners to pack and with the pack mothers to pups, everything should go smoothly, so just keep that in mind when creating characters! if you make four loners right off the bat, it doesn't leave much room for anyone else, and some wolves will need to join the pack even if once a loner. if your wolf travels with the pack, eats with the pack, and/or socializes with the pack well often, the wolf will be considered part of the pack and no longer a loner. if they follow the pack on the outskirts, eat without them, and keep the interactions to a minimum or secretive, then they can still be considered a loner. I'm happy to let another pack form if more than three loners group up together in the rp! we do have four sisters who could decide to go off and do their own thing, who knows? I expect the loners to be mostly male, given not many in this original pack are going to be, so also take that into consideration. lgbtq is fine; there will be no offspring of these couples and they will not be allowed to "fade to black" for romantic scenes, as per CS rules, I don't mind characters identifying as queer, though. when submitting a character sheet, make sure it has their name, age, appearance, and personality at minimum, any extras you do are up to you, I don't require images. I also won't be approving characters! as long as their character sheet is complete and posted to the discussion thread, you may begin to rp. reservations won't be held, if you want a character role you must post a complete sheet for it while it is available.

PACK ROLES
.:sister/daughter: destine to become alphas of their own packs, these girls are well mannered and disciplined. they're pristine royalty, expected to have been granted a suitable mate and territory when their time to rule had come. they're tasked with the survival of their remaining pack now, while faced with the decision of taking the throne for themself, or ruling alongside each other.
.:den mother: female wolves who have birthed a litter, are expecting, or have produced pups in the past. while not well versed in some cases, these wolves are tasked with protecting, teaching, and caring for the pups of the pack. they have little to no experience hunting despite their roles.
.:auntie: female wolves who for some reason cannot produce pups. their role is generally the same as the den mother, however they are more likely to have experience as an apprentice hunter or fighter. these may be older wolves who retired their former role for something easier, or females that are infertile in some way. they will not become pregnant or produce pups.
.:puppy/adolescent: the young wolves of the pack. those on their way to apprenticeship and those who are still learning to figure out their paws, they've been catered to for their short lives, which could make them a bit ignorant. they're just puppies, after all.
.:loner: lone wolves who do not join a pack. they may be exiles, they may be born into it. joining a pack is allowed, but they will lose their status as a loner as a result.

Apperance: cloaked in wiry pelt the shade of raven feathers is the most lithe of the sisters, a graceful deep shadow suspended on lengthy legs, not the type to grow in too much of a coat, which often leaves her appearing thin. frail, however, she is not. she's a sly thing, always seeming to slink around with slow and deliberate steps, her posture reserved against the outside eye. as for eyes, hers are a traditional amber, bright and stunning against the dark of her coat. the obsidian shadow of the sisters, always appearing when least expected, and seeming to know everything there could be concerning happenings in the pack.
Personality: the all hearing, the all knowing, that's what she would have you believe. she plays into the observer role rather well, choosing often to hang back in conversations, almost appearing as if she isn't listening. very quiet in a keeps to herself way. she's certainly not the most leader like of her siblings, and could be described as reclusive in comparison. despite the lingering silence there are some thing she has knowledge of that others certainly wouldn't. not that she would share.

Apperance: his looks tread more along the lines of traditional with a heavy wiry coat consisting of shades of gray and black saddled across his back, and a contrasting white ombre engulfing his paws and snout. a mask of black cuts across his eyes, the same color being a dorsal stripe from his tail to the saddle on his back. distinctly marring his face are scars garnered from years of scavenging, hunting, and fending off those he came across. his eyes are a jarring pale yellow, haunting and sunken slightly from too many nights of rest skipped.
Personality: there's a dark presence over him, a bit ominous. he's been on his own for a long time, and its begun to affect him socially. he's on the extreme edge of caution always, and it has a hindering effect. most of his actions or conversation are meticulous in nature, as if they're thought out days in advance. he's overwhelmingly prepared for most things, which can lead to some jumped conclusions on his part, and some uneasy situations. he's anti-social as a sort of mask, for what once was a very outgoing and friendly pack wolf. those days are gone, so his guard is always up.

Intelligent and observant, she's constantly on the look out, and constantly listening. She's really good at observation, and keeping quiet. Others often don't know she's there. She'll join the conversation if she's invited to do so. She can seem too quiet...and is withdrawn if upset. She's a bit more of a leader than Emmeranne, but not quite as much a leader as the other two. She loves her sisters, of course. She likes to walk around by the water, too, and watch birds.

Pretty white she wolf with golden eyes just like her son has. She has creamy ears and a dark nose, as well as dark nails and pads. She's smaller and slender, and her son takes after her. Her face and eyes are kind and sweet, and that's all there is to it.
Personality:
Dove is a sweet and gentle female. She's kind, caring, compassionate, as well as loyal to the pack. She tries to be the best she can be. With two young pups, she's currently quite busy. She has to keep an eye on them, and is quite observant and attentive. She's intelligent and playful as well. However, she's stubborn and hard headed. She doesn't always listen...She can be wild, loud, withdrawn if upset, and seemingly cold when angered. She has a shy and nervous streak, as well.

Has one other pup if anyone wants to play her (name up to you, and could be a gray wolf, black phase, or white)

Raven is a sweet and gentle boy. He's learning to be kind and caring from his mother. He tries his best, and is a good study, good at learning. He observes his mother, and is learning attentiveness. He's silly and playful, as well as cuddly and sometimes quiet. He can be wild, loud, withdrawn if upset, and sometimes too quiet. He's stubborn and hard headed as well. He doesn't always listen, either...He doesn't like bees or thunder...and is afraid of them in fact. He has a shy and nervous streak, as well.

Personality:
Sweet, gentle, kind and caring is their middle name. They're loyal to a fault, playful, love pups, and a great storyteller. They're cuddly, adventurous, intelligent, and a good enough swimmer. They're good at hunting, and wish to find some friends. However, they're stubborn and hard headed. They're wild at times, loud at times, cold if angered, and can be aloof. They don't like loud sounds or sudden movements. They're a bit shy, nervous, withdrawn if upset, and don't like thunder.

Apperance: Large, muscular dark russet-red and gray wolf. She was yellow-brown eyes. She is female, but her size competes with any adult male wolf. In far she is mixed with a male instead than a female wolf, because of her size.
Personality: She is a calm, patient, and sweet wolf, but aggressive when she is pissed or someone dear to her is in danger or someone is just being an idiot around her or anyone else. Even being large, she is rather gentle and caring in nature.
Other: She had a brother named Moonstone, who was Caliza's mate and father to her pups. She found very early age that she was unable to have pups, as her gender was always hard to figure out, but her parents raised her as a female.

Apperance: She is a medium-sized, light brown-orange "golden" furred wolf, with some darker red-brown on her back. She has golden eyes.
Personality: She is a sweet, caring, motherly, and loving wolf, she tries to be friends with anyone and doesn't really want to say bad about others, she is rather naive. She loves pups, but is rather picky when choosing or finding another mate, she still loves Moonstone but wants to get over it.
Other: She is the mother to Sunny and Sandstone, her mate was Moonstone. Her mate died a few moons ago before her pups were born and she named them receiving his wishes, as he wanted to name them Sunny and Sandy if the other was a girl, but as they both were boys she named the other a Sandstone after his father.

Other:Brother to Sandstone, Caliza is his mother and Firestone is his aunt. He never got to meet his father Moonstone who died before he was even born.

Apperance: Large, but skinny dark gray and silver, with some black on his back and a little bit of dark brown on his legs. H has deep yellow eyes.
Personality: He is not a mean boy, just hard to understand. He acts before thinking and doesn't really think about what other things about his doings or what he says to others. He can easily hurt someone without realizing it himself, but he usually doesn't mean what he says. He is a troublemaker and a little bit proud, very stubborn in things he wants.
Other:He was born as a pack, but when grown up he alongside all other male pups was exiled to the pack. He is being alone few months now.

Apperance: a broad-shouldered dark gray she-wolf with a black mask and darker hairs tickling her body. She has a white chin, and her eyes are pale yellow.
Personality: Ceres is a quiet wolf that tends to come off as intimidating due to her RBF, which isn't far off from her actual personality. She's a serious girl and fiercely protective of her family. She's a strategist, and she likes to think she's one of the best, due to her intelligence. However, not everyone favors her due to her rather vague morals, she's seen fog thicker and more solid that her morals. While not the most trusting wolf around, she is oddly welcoming to outsiders, and generally friendly towards most wolves no matter their status.

Role: Auntie
Apperance: A pale gray she-wolf with a darker dusting along her back. She has a white chest, black ear tips, and a tail tip, with orange eyes.
Personality: Most of the time Fai is a silly wolf, joking, pranking, and generally causing trouble. She likes to lighten the mood, and help everybody get in a good laugh. She adores telling stories and often will talk with outsiders to gather news and new tales to tell pups and adolescents. She can be very serious at times, and it usually comes out of nowhere.

Apperance: Saturns is a light brown wolf with marked with various shades of tan and cream, and a large amount of white. He has pale blue-grey eyes.
Personality: Saturn is frankly a worry wart, and almost near constantly in a panic, even over the smallest things. He'll panic of the state of his fur, or if it's going to rain. But he's very good at coming up at solutions for bigger problems, can't find shelter? he's got it. Having trouble finding prey? He's an excellent hunter and tracker. He has some regrets but does his best to keep moving forward.
Other: Coruvs' brother, no mate, has offspring from a former mate.

Apperance: Coruvs is a large brown wolf with a dusting of dark brown and black along his back, ears, tail, and the top of his head. He also has lighter markings which can be found mostly on his lower body. A bit of white can be noticed, with one ear partially white and his muzzle dusted with it. The male has many scars from his many fights and bright yellow eyes.
Personality: Corv is a grizzly wolf in many ways. He dislikes much about the world, the rain, extreme weather, and annoying overexcited wolves. But Corv is nothing but loyal to his family, and mostly his brother, Saturn. He's got a short temper and is one of the two brothers to get into a fight with someone over something small. He's vicious and tends to be rather cold towards strangers. Though he tends to be very careful and kind around pups, nursing den mothers, and expecting she-wolves.
Other: Saturn's brother, no mate or offspring.
