𝘞𝘦𝘭𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘦 𝘛𝘰 𝘉𝘳𝘦𝘦𝘻𝘦𝘤𝘭𝘢𝘯

For many seasons Breezeclan has lived peacefully on the moor island disconnecting them from the
mainland where their - very - distant brother and sister clans, Thunderclan, Skyclan, Shadowclan, Riverclan,
and Windclan live. They have a strong connection with Starclan, but recently tragedy struck. One night the
clan leader and deputy were struck dead by an unknown assailant. Since their deaths, Starclan has been silent,
not even speaking to the clan's medicine cat when they've visited the moonstone. With no other choice, the
clan must choose their own leaders without Starclan's say. But Berrystar's and Cloudbeam's murderer is still out
there, and they may strike again. Until the killer is found, is anyone truly safe?

Expecting/nursing queens, kit, and apprentices under seven moons will not be able to be killed by the bad guy. But elders, outsiders, older apprentices, the future deputy/leader, warriors, and medicine cats are all free game.

Rookjaw was born to a rather opinionated black she-cat named Ivycloud, and a soft-spoken brown and white tabby tom named Lichenheart. Ivycloud had it in her head that her kits would be the best of the best and the future leaders of the clan. She did her best to fill Rookjaw and her sibling's heads with this nonsense and for a time, she believed her mother. But after a training accident that "damaged" her beauty, her mother cut her out of her life. Only an apprentice, Rookpaw felt alone, only having a few friends, her father and on occasion her siblings. She became friends with Berrypounce, a handsome cream tabby tom not long after the incident. He'd become a warrior a moon or so after she'd become an apprentice. The two remained just friends for many seasons, only becoming mates a season or so after he'd been named deputy. They had their first litter sometime after, who are now young warriors, and the two had just found out that she was expecting their second litter a half a moon before his murder.

Hawkpaw has had a rather uneventful life so far, he comes from a pair of loving parents, and has a few siblings. The murder of Berrystar and Cloudbeam has made Hawkpaw a little jumpy, doubly so now that the clan's medicine has announced that they must take decisions into their own paws. Hawkpaws doing his best to keep his mind off of the troubling things, but finds it hard and has often been quite fluff-brained recently.

Swiftkit was the only survivor of his mother's litter of five, his youngest but largest sibling was stillborn, the others - himself included - were born sick. None were expected to make it past their first moon, and the smallest of the four surviving kits did die just shy of their first moon. Three of them - himself included - made it to their third moon before a blizzard took the lives of his mother and one of his siblings. Swiftkit and their sister; Featherkit made it to be apprentices, becoming Swiftpaw and Featherpaw. Swiftpaw was mentored by their older half-brother; Owlscar. They learned much from their beloved brother, the two getting along great with snarky comments and witty comebacks. Two moons before Featherpaw and Swiftpaw were to become warriors, Featherpaw was got sick and died of greencough.
Swiftpaw obviously didn't react well to this and the she-cat and threw herself into every battle she could. She grew to be short-tempered and practically drew blood with her tongue. It did earn her a great many glares - along with some pity - and even a few enemies. It eventually led to the situation that took part of her hearing in her right ear. Swiftpaw ran after a rogue that had been causing the clan some problems. Owlscar had tried to get her to stop, but she'd refused to listen, that was her mistake. The rogue unknowingly led her and her mentor to a cliff, Swiftpaw tackled the rogue sending them both over the side. Owlscar in a moment of desperation and insanity leaped after them. While the fall wasn't a long one, the landing wasn't gentle in the least. The rogue died on impact, softening Swiftpaws landing. While Owlscar survived the initial fall, the damage to his body killed him moons later.
While Swiftpaw was spared the worst, he did fracture his left foreleg in two places and knocked himself out because his head bounced off the rogues. Swiftpaw was unconscious for a quarter moon, during this time, the clan was unsure if he would survive, and made him a warrior during this time. He was given the warrior name Frostmask. He didn't mind it much when he finally awoke. Frostmask lived as a warrior for a long time, doing what they did best. They had a romance or two, had a few litters, and happily retired about twenty moons ago.

Ray, formerly Rayelle was born from a romantic night with a Breezeclan warrior. His mother often told him and his littermates of his father, but never spoke the toms name. Ray never really came out to his mother or littermates as a trans tom, and really just left after figuring it out. Ray is still gaining confidence as a cat in general, and maybe jumpy at times. He found himself nearing Breezeclan territory this last half moon and has stayed around, interested and hoping to figure out who his father is.

Dustywind is an aloof female, quiet, and observant. She never really tends to worry about things going on around her, having faith that with time and effort everything will work out just like the way it's intended. Some may remember her as more outgoing, open-hearted, and fun to be around, but with the recent events and threats looming over the clan, it's harder to try to be optimistic.

She grew up as the only kit to parents that are now with Starclan, at least she hopes. Doted on, but yet never quite feeling like she was ever good enough from the pressure of having to fill the expectations of two cats that would never see quite eye to eye, the failure of being imperfect and unable to live up to those expectations slowly wore her down and quieted her spirit as she eventually advanced to being a warrior, and watched as her parents slowly began to fall out of love. In the end, she never quite got to make amends with her feelings, and still gets overwhelmed time to time with the thought that she was the reason her parents died apart.

trailshine is a small, calico tabby with round amber orbs. she is the medicine
cat of breezeclan. she grew up as an only kit to outsiders who were very
young and aloof, and didn't think much about the consequences of birth. she
was brought to the clan to be raised amongst a civilisation.

trailshine is a very compassionate cat and is not afraid to be outspoken or to
put her paw down. she baths in victory despite not being a warrior, but will
get easily frustrated with herself if she fails at something she believes she is good
at- e.g. saving a cat's life (if the cat were to die, she would become very frustrated
and a tad bit anxious and self-hating). she is a huge motivator despite her small size and tends to pick favourites.

despite her age, she is very immature. she is loud and a bit boastful and even a bit of a pain in the tail. she gets these traits from her parents who were prideful outsiders. despite this, she cannot hunt or fight, trying usually results in her landing face first in the dirt. despite this, she is never afraid to try.

she is observing, that is true, but that is the skill of a medicine cat. otherwise she's messy and carefree unless, as stated before, a cat dies on her. there is nothing that will destroy her mood more than someone close to her passing away or getting killed. the role of a medicine cat appeased her because of this, why sit around and watch those she gets along with go to starclan when she can keep them on earth?

speaking of starclan, trailshine is not a firm believer in it. she does believe 'heaven' exists, but a clan full of dead cats? that is absurd to her. never has she ever heard something so silly! she says its all just kit tales.
