SHONA O'NEILL // hufflepuff halfblood
hailing from seaside town of bundoran, ireland.
she's now 17, entering her 7th and final year at hogwarts. she has always been
really good at finding ways to encourage people and boosting their spirits - usually
carries around snacks, offering them up in times of desperate need. she's a good
& brutally honest friend, always puts others before herself. stubbornly
loyal to a fault and would stand up to anybody who would make a dig at her
mates. stupid or fearless ? nobody really knows for sure but she's a firecracker,
easy to convince to do pretty much anything reckless, a class joker since she was
in a muggle primary school back in the day. was almost put in gryffindor but
she asked for hufflepuff - decided that she values loyalty and tolerance
most of all. she always treats people equally and believes in "forgive and forget"
because, quite frankly, she has the memory of a goldfish, and forgets the wrongs
done to her incredibly easily, whether she wants to or not. always bubbly, smiling:
a positive energy that never seems to waver. quite resourceful, as a chatterbox
she knows everybody and soaks up knowledge like a sponge takes up water. not
necessarily useful knowledge, or full details, but usually something of use at least.
enjoys herbology and keeps a cluster of plants in the window by her bed in the
hufflepuff dorms; but has a keen interest in potions and charms as well,
surprisingly diligent in her work for these subjects despite being such a
scatterbrain. very athletic, plays as chaser on hufflepuff's quidditch team -
competitive in a friendly approach, and makes a big deal out of sports events as
being social events. she also keeps a bonkers barn owl called barney, who likes to
leave the owlery and pester her by her dorm window when it suits him, looking for
snacks, which she provides without hesitation.

amelia preston was born in london, england as a halfblood witch. her mother was the magical
side of her and the only present parental figure for her. they were quite close, amelia being
an only child. amelia never really acknowledged the half of her that was a muggle, for she was
never raised in the 'regular' world. it was only natural for her to get her letter from hogwarts
at the age of eleven, but it was surprising when she was sorted into slytherin. her mother and
amelia had expected either hufflepuff or ravenclaw, but it became clear when she fit right in
with her house. she also got into quidditch and has trained hard to become the team captain.

amelia is a generally quiet and collected person. she can be intimidating without saying much
at all. she is intelligent and deliberate, a good, hardworking student. she does have a rather
bad habit of pushing others away, however, and finds it hard to keep friends or connect with
others. she very much so keeps to herself and would rather be on her own. when she does sp-
eak with others, she can be kind and gentle, but remain at an arms length. she doesn't have
anything personal against others, she just finds it hard to put herself out there. if she were to
have a friend, they would find her to be a person with large and grand ideas and opinions who
can spend hours debating the world when she lets herself open up a bit. she very much embo-
dies the ambitious side of the slytherin traits. although she may be quiet, she spends her time
observing and is not afraid to take opportunities as they present themselves. she will strike like
a snake when she spots a weakness and is loyal only to herself and her fellow slytherins. that is
what makes her such a great quidditch captain, for she is merciless when she lets herself be.

the sorting hat had to of made a mistake with sorting dom into slyther
in. the wizard defies most of the core traits of a slytherin. he's an opt
imistic, loud-mouthed, joking individual who tries to befriend anyone
and everyone. it doesn't help that he is muggleborn-something that m
ost slytherins despise. it's made him a target to his fellow house-mate
s for bullying and teasing, but it's only fueled dom to do better and sh
ow his housemates that he is a slytheirn. even if he spends most of hi
s time with the other houses. most notably the hufflepuffs. he doesn'
t even bother with trying to befriend his house.. they are too cruel to
dom and leave him feeling under the weather. something he hates. bu

ut it's all apart of life to dom.. everyone needs a little rain so why
not try and make the most of it? he tries to have a positive outloo
k on life no matter the circumstances. half-full kind of guy all the
way. no exceptions. it can get on the nerves of some people but d
om tries his best to ignore the comments. to make others laugh. n
ot a day goes by where the wizard isn'''t putting a smile on someon
es face.. he's gotten into trouble several times for pulling stupid jo
kes or sneaking out after hours to go see a friend who was upset...
the slytherin values his friends happiness and emotions over his ow
n, and will not hesitate to push his feelings down in favor of makin
g his friends happy. some call him selfless but he just calls it being
a good friend. there have been various times where dom misses ou
t on homework or fails a test because he's goofing off with his frie
nds and just enjoying his life for once. he doesn't feel the need to
excel in his studies because in reality, will he stay in the wizarding

n to his muggle world and live on. it makes him sad to think that
he might lose the closests friends he's got because of his blood st
atus. but hey, maybe he'll meet new people? always a linger of h

dumps. he values staying positive over anything else. and someti
mes to make himself happier he'll wear funny outfits. patterned s
ocks or button-ups. just something to try and crack a smile on his
or others' faces. when dom wants to do something he get's it don
e with no exception. sometimes that means simply cracking a jok
e or doing something stupid. but sometimes it just means leaving
his friends alone and doing his own thing. he can be overbearing
and suffocating in some situations as he never wants to be in his
own common room. he'll beg to leave his common room and inste
ad hang out someplace else. even if it means outside in the cold.

seventeen years ago, in the heart of london, the czech wizards radana and havel welcomed their daughter, evelina benedikta,
into the world. from the start, their little wizard made it abundantly clear that the nickname ben was all they would respond
to, and eventually a given name became a nearly-forgotten memory. ben has certainly continued to grow since then, refusing
to morph or mold into anything other than themself and is more than willing to throw hexes over it. usually, ben is described
by peers as a loud and proud example of a gryffindor with a ferocious and protective traits underlying their entire character.
they are by no means a stranger to impromptu duels with class rivals, boundary-crossing pranks on housemates, and procl-
aiming their beliefs and opinions quite loudly whether they were asked for or were specifically spurned. as an athlete, the
deception of ben's towering height of 152 centimeters (a whole five foot nothing) to hide their well-worked muscles makes
their role as gryffindor beater a perfect storm. ben is quite notable difficult to work with, though, preferring to take their
own path and fit their own mold instead of someone else's. confidence and pride are abound because, at the end of the day,
ben will still be ben and they will always stand by who they are.

(Personality) Beatrice is a rough and tumble girl. She has a distaste for traditionally feminine activities and
feels much more comfortable in loose, androgynous clothing. She has a notoriously mouthy attitude, to the
dismay of teachers and her mother. She gets into fights on a monthly basis, usually because of her stubborn
mind and short temper. However, despite all of this, Bea isn't all bad. She is deeply loyal to those that she's
close to. Like most Gryffindors, she is fierce and bold, jumping into adventures headfirst. Need someone to
sneak into the Forbidden Forrest with? She's your girl.
(Biography) The only witch in a family of muggles, Bea has always been a bit of an oddball. Her father died,
the victim of a mugging, when she was only four years old. When Bea's magic began to manifest her mother
thought she was possessed. It was only after receiving her Hogwarts letter that Bea's mother began to come
to grips with her daughter's abilities. Bea loves Hogwarts, spending her days causing mischief. It's a mystery
how she hasn't been expelled yet. While not a studious student by any means, Bea makes good grades. She's
the kind of student who crams the night before and still manages to make at least a B. She has tried out for
Quidditch every year and been rejected every time, much to her chagrin. Bea is trying to get a Gay-Straight
Alliance started, as she feels it is something Hogwarts desperately needs. She is also searching for someone,
specifically a first year, to pass down her knowledge to and continue her legacy of chaos when she's gone.
