when out in the forest. Her hair is usually pulled into a
braided bun or pony tail for function, an action which
is slightly undermined by her hand-cut-always-slightly
-too-long bangs. Farris generally wears dark pants and
hiking books; in summer she likes simple tee-shirts and
sports tops, but as it gets colder she prefers
knit turtleneck sweaters and always, always, wears
her oversized shearling jacket.
𝐒𝐤𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐬 Her outdoor strengths are stealth, climbing,
tracking, and mimicking many animal noises.
Farris is also an exceptional note taker, and in the
event that her camera is unavailable she is a fairly
good sketch artist. She has an incredibly sharp memory.

Farris doesn't remember much of the first five years of her life other than the green rolling
hills of Ireland and the warmth of her family. From what she was told later by Rowan, she was
the youngest daughter in a family of six comprised of her parents, two older brothers, Rowan,
and herself. Her family was one of the most well-known covens in Europe and were intent on
teaching their children the trade, primarily training them in the use of their family craft;
divination. Together the family roamed across Europe in their van, living a perfectly content
life. Though divination was their main practice, the family did train their children to protect
themselves against the other supernatural beings in the world, primarily through the use of
their trade-mark silver bladed hatchets.

Though Rowan didn't elaborate much more on the rest of the Sannhilder's than this, she was
even more tight lipped as to what exactly had happened to Farris' other siblings and parents,
stating that they were simply gone. When she was seven, Farris traveled to Canada with
Rowan as her older sibling carried on the family trade by herself, teaching Farris what she
could as the two of them journeyed west. The next ten years were happy times for Farris as
the two sisters lived a simple but exciting life, constantly on the move, living life on their
own terms. This all came to a sudden halt when the Sannhildr girls were attacked by a
werewolf pack defending their territory in Arizona. The conflict ended with Rowan serving
as a distraction, her sacrifice only barely buying Farris enough time to escape with her life.

Stranded in Arizona with the clothes on her back, her father's old shearling jacket, her satchel
and a pair of hatchets, Farris had never been so hopeless. She slowly made her way north
before eventually running into her current coven. Immediately she fell in with the group and
has been traveling with them for the past seven years, happy to once again have found her
family.

𝐏𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲

In a word, Farris is clever. She is full of wit, and occasionally snark, and
loves bantering with her fellow coven members who she very much views
as family. When meeting strangers she has the ability to put them at ease
with her natural charm and humor, often opting to smooth the proverbial
feathers that her 'family' ruffles. Making shallow, amiable connections
with strangers comes naturally to Farris, as does connecting deeply with
those she considers a part of her family. At times she can be quite
stubborn, but for the most part she works hard to keep everyone on good
terms. Sometimes her humor and attempts to keep the peace can come
off as meaningless chatter, but it helps maintain her natural cheer. On
the rare occasions when she is feeling down trodden, it is obvious to
everyone around her, though she never stays that way for very long.
Ultimately, Farris is kind, caring, and quick witted, happy to help and
fiercely protective of those close to her.

His hair hangs to just above his shoulders, and though
more often than not he wears it loose, during the
working day he ties it up into a tight knot. Johann
typically smells of the forest, a combination of dirt and
pine, a scent that is subtle but instantly recognizable.
Typically he sports a flannel with other layers thrown
over dark jeans. As a wolf he maintains his tall
stature and natural grace and power.

Johann is also an incredibly strong hunter. He
knows pretty much everything that there is to
know about surviving in the wild, and is well
versed in many forms of backcountry first
aid.

Johann, like many other members of the pack, was born and raised in Colorado. Despite
knowing next to nothing about his mother who left shortly after his birth, he never
experienced a shortage of love and support, and through most of his childhood he was
happy and carefree. As a teen and young adult he was almost too carefree, spending more
time fooling around with his boyhood friends and out of town flings than his father liked,
though he grew out of those habits with time. As he has matured, Johann has taken a
bigger and bigger role in the running of the pack, and though he always deferred to his
father the previous alpha, it was clear that he was always meant to lead.

The pack roamed across the whole of Colorado, though they had long maintained a base
in Ute - a small ranch property that allowed them all the freedom and safety that they
might need. In the summers Johann remotely ran an outdoor adventure guide company
that his father had formed years before he was born, and in the winters he worked as a
local handyman and firewood provider, keeping towns warm as he traveled between
them.

A few years back Lars was killed by a hunter, and though his transition to alpha
was not without struggle, Johann now fills the role that his father once held. Like his
dad, Johann values the pack over everything else, and is determined to keep them safe
however he can.

Johann tries to be a good man in everything that he does. Most the time
he has an easy, infectious, and affable manner, as over the years he has
gotten quite good at covering up personal concerns for the overall
wellbeing of his pack. He is generally considered charming and is
good at convincing people of his views, though in a manner that is
neither pushy or overbearing. He cares deeply for his family and is
incredibly protective of them, and does everything he can to care for
and support them. However, he is very firm in his ideals, and is difficult
to sway once his mind has been made up. He can be fierce when it
comes to maintaining his role as alpha though ultimately, he lives and
breathes for his pack.

is more lean than broad. He's 6ft tall, and carries
himself in a somewhat rigid way as a result of his
line of work. He has a hunch that he tries to hide
from hours spend pouring over case files, and perpetual
bags under his eyes regardless of how much sleep he
gets. He tends to keep his hair cropped pretty short,
but when he's overworked it grows out quickly. He
smells clean, like fresh linen, with warm undertones
of coffee and ink. For the most part he's settled into
a comfortable Colorado uniform of flannel and jeans,
but his closet is still full of suits and button up shirts
leftover from his detective days. In the winter Kai
is less human more walking parka and scarves, but
that's about all the variation his closet gets.
𝐒𝐤𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐬 Kai is incredibly observant and picks
on the slightest details while reading a room. He
is fluent in Korean, Japanese, and Mandarin
as well as English.

Kai's first memories are as a foster child on Maui, being passed from family to family. The
only consistent in his life was change, and Kai quickly adapted to whatever environment
he was thrust into. He always seemed to have a strong sense of morality that got him into
trouble more than once; he had a tendency to stubbornly refuse to drop issues and get
into fights, regardless of the size of his opponent. Kai knew from a young age that helping
people was all he wanted to do, so in spite of the instability of his home life, he was an
incredibly strong student, excelling academically. By the time he was old enough to
legally go out on his own he was already down the path of becoming a detective, and in
short order he had achieved his goal.

In the time that Kai was a detective he solved multiple cases and quickly gained a
reputation as the sort of person who could come up with solutions. That was, of course,
until he had a case that he couldn't solve. No matter what angle he approached it from
all he got were dead ends. But as cases of the same nature began to pile up - cases of
people being exsanguinated- he became obsessed with finding the killer. After figuring
out the predators habits, Kai was able to predict the venue of their next attack but...
no one believed his story of what he saw that night. Kai spiraled and was shortly
removed from his position. Now unsure of even himself, Kai fled the only home he had
ever known in favor of searching out some solitude, finally settling in the quiet town
of Ute. Parts of his job still linger, but he's done his best to move on, now working
as a local librarian to earn his keep.

𝐏𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲

Kai is diligent and hardworking, and can be incredibly hard on himself,
but to those around him, he's a total sweetheart. He's quiet and more
or less keeps to himself, but the second he sees someone in need,
he's the first person to check in and see how he can help. He naturally
ingratiates himself to whatever community he's in, and tries to be
as consistent and reliable as possible. Even so, he's not one to have
many close friends because in spite of his kindness, he tends to keep
the people around him at arms length. Kai isn't one to ever lose
composure, instead maintaining the peace and balance of those
around him. Trust doesn't come easy to Kai, nor does communication,
but he's lived alone for so long that he doesn't feel lonely per say.
Following his harrowing experience, Kai had had more than a few
sleepless nights, but recently it seems to be getting a bit easier
for him to breathe - he's more or less written off the experience as
some kind of a mental break brought on by the extreme stress he
had been putting himself under. Ultimately, Kai wants to do right by
those around him more than anything else, even if he won't let them
close enough to help in the same way.

Synopsis: Born and raised on farmland, Dakota was brought up in a place she doesn't talk about with people she doesn't talk about either. She's always been a wolf. At seventeen, she was brought by Lars, the previous Alpha up north to join the Colorado pack. It took her a while to adjust, but eventually she found her footing and fell in with the other teenagers in the pack. Not having a highschool diploma, she worked out on a ranch on the edge of town for a while to earn her own money. The old couple and their nephew- a boy a few years older than her- became her most genuine connection outside of the pack. She spent her teens and most of her twenties working on the ranch when she wasn't out with the pack.

Eventually, she got her GED. She also almost married a human she was dating when she was about 24. But, the guy ran out on her. A few years back, when the old couple decided to retire to Florida, she got the ranch since their nephew didn't want to be a rancher. Since then she's opened it up to the pack as a place to stay when they weren't wandering. Dakota finds the labor intensive work of a ranch life calming. She is full of energy and a need to do something productive and taking care of cattle and the like fills that need. She's reliable and brave, sometimes to the point of recklessness. Most of all though, she's loyal. It's why she fits the role of Beta so well, she fell into the role when the new Alpha took charge.

Brief Physical Description: A woman built of compact, lean muscle. She is on the taller side of five foot something. She has a complexion tanned and freckled in odd places from long hours under the sun working the ranch from dawn till dusk. She has dark brown hair that she tends to keep on the shorter side, something just long enough that she can tie and pin it back or tuck it all under her straw or signature black felt cowboy hat. She has a smattering of black and grey tattoos, all of them small. The symbol of the ranch on her wrist, the date she joined the pack on her tricep among a few others. Family: Quite some time ago- so many years he can't always remember when exactly- he had brothers. Two of them, one his twin and another much younger. So much so that he felt more like a son most of the time. They also had a cousin that they spent enough time with to consider a sibling. They're long gone now. Enough time has past that the only way he can recall their names sometimes- or only way he chooses to allow himself to- is through old journals he has stashed away. Synopsis: Currently posing as a Literature Professor from Denmark who semi-retired to this town by becoming a teacher at the local schoolhouse, Markus Wolff (as he currently goes by) is a casually excentric man. He's weird and makes no mistake about it, but, he is also kind. Despite him more bloody impulses, he finds no reason to be rude to those he meets if he doesn't have to be. He chose his current surname on an amused whim when he heard there were wolves potentially in the area. He finds it funny at least. Though he doesn't have to, Markus sheds picked up identities and lives like a snake does skins. He is always interested in humanity and the silly little things they do to fill their limited hours, so he enjoys making identities that allows him to do so. He doesn't sway hard either way on his diet, animals or people. He simply chooses what makes the most sense at the time. In a bustling city no one will notice, or if they do, be able to find him if he drinks from a human. In the wilderness, animals are simply the most convenient choice.

Having done many jobs and lived many lives, Markus is a jack of all trades and he likes to keep those skills fresh by always keeping hobbies. He has spent a great deal of time traveling the world and exploring the particulars of humanity. When he was first turned- an unfortunate circumstance of him being in a place he should not have been- he stayed with the coven of the vampire who turned him out of necessity. Eventually though, when he became able to control himself and understand his new set of needs, he set off until eventually finding coven a decent deal of time back. He himself has no great need for the territory, but if it's what his coven would like he'll do his part for the time being.

Brief Physical Description: A relatively tall man by today's standards, he was turned some time in his late forties to early fifties and is none too displeased by this as he prefers it over back when he was in his twenties and still looked got mistaken for younger. He tends to keep his brown salt and pepper hair a tad longer with stubble or a small beard to match- in the past he's dyed it to appear a little younger still and to be able to stick around one place longer if it suited him. Markus is strong and fairly broad. He tends to wear simple, well made clothing of refined taste. The sort that isn't flashy but is obviously somewhat expensive. He still has very old scars from his life as a human without the chance to make new ones as of late, he looks on them now with fondness.

Family: Born to and raised by Alicia Blake and her coven, Will's whole family is made of Moms, Mamas, and Aunties. Sisters and Cousins. She loves her family with her whole heart, but left them some years back to come west when something in the winds and lakes told her to start moving.

Synopsis: Will was born among pragmatic and thrifty women in the Appalachian woods, and she herself took on those traits. While she did attend a public school in the nearest local town, most of the real lessons happened with her family coven- called the Black Hills coven after the previously burned down woods they claimed as home. She grew up around women who helped and saved anyone who came to them in need.

And she did her best to do the same. But she wasn't as good at the whole people thing. Will cared, she always did, but the stupid things some people would do just made her testy. It was in magic, mother nature, where she always thrived.

Her Mama raised her to worship the earth and all that comes from it as close to a god as her Coven cared to have. Will followed The Green where it lead her all over the mountains- and avoided the spots it seemed to tell her not to go. Eventually, The Green seemed to start telling her to head west. Something was pulling her. For a while, she didn't know what was pulling her or where exactly. For a few years she wandered, picking up tricks and spells. And, picking up other witches, or those with the potential to be, too. Despite some skirmishes, her coven has been doing well so far. Until they got to Ute that is. The energy of the supernatural is in the air and that can cause more trouble for innocent people than anything.

Brief Physical Description: Short and lean, Will was made for getting herself into every tight spot and narrow crevice nature has. She typically wears her hair in boho box braids or microbraids- preferring to keep it braided as its easier to keep out of her way and deal with when out in the woods. She has a truly impressive number of small tattoos scattered across her body, most have meanings, though she's also the sort of person who, if she sees a design she likes, will just get it because. She has a few small nicks and scars from childhood exploration but nothing particularly noteworthy. She has a usually thrifted, earthy style made up of randomly collected pieces.

Alex was born to a wealthy military family, who aided
the roman empire in its conquests, in 450 AD. the rut
hlessness of her family gave them the surname of Dra
kos, a word meaning dragon in greek. alex is the elde
st daughter of the family, with 3 younger brothers. sh
e has always been the quiet, yet stoic type. alex has a
voicelessly commanding presence. she learned such le
adership skills from some of history's greatest leaders.
she has traversed continents, watched empires fall, a
nd more. while alexandria seems relatively composed,
she has been known to lay waste to countrysides, in a
fit of bloodrage. for the past century, though, she has
been rather at ease. she could not say the same for h
er brothers, but she had made sure to cut off contact
with them long ago. currently, alex possesses the only
