Appearance: Elias has short, dark brown hair, though a medium sized section of it is white at the front - likely from a mild curse - his eyes are dark green in colour. He stands at about 6'0" tall, and holds a slightly relaxed posture. He also has an athletic build, with some muscle. Elias has a sharp jawline and a fair, slightly tanned, skin tone, and has a small scar on the back of his left hand, and another one just behind his right ear.
He often wears something semi-formal - a nice shirt with a waistcoat and trousers being his more common outfit.

Personality: Elias may first appear to be stuck up, especially given his usual outfits, but those that meet him will quickly learn this is not the case. Outgoing, friendly and curious, Elias is approachable and easy to talk to. He seems to have a natural, confident charm that makes him charismatic - though he's not particularly flirty or anything like that. Despite how open and talkative he is, Elias is also very secretive. He keeps secrets and information about himself close, as to protect himself, due to bad experiences of opening up to people in the past. He also doesn't trust easily. However, anyone that does get close to him will find he is loyal and protective. Elias can also be quite reckless and headstrong, diving right into action rather than stepping back to consider other options. He can also be rather stubborn, and doesn't like letting things go or changing his mind easily.

Short Bio: Elias grew up in a town on the outskirts of London. His parents were middle class, and both worked well-paying jobs - his mother a surgeon and father a computer engineer. He has two siblings - both of them older than him. Elias first took an interest in researching mysterious groups, legends and the like at the age of 15, after rumours of a creature lurking around the town started up. He looked into it, and though he was disappointed to find the rumours were false, found interest in the process of investigating. Since he was 19, Elias has been on the lookout for any sort of mysterious disappearances, legends, odd groups and central places of dark magic for him to look into and research. This took him to writing about them, publishing his research and notes - and results of all of this - in books that have garnered a fair following and some popularity. Not all of his research and experiences get written about, though. He is currently working on his third book - and he has a feeling this is going to be his most interesting one yet.

Appearance: Vivianna has long, black hair that's currently in several braids, and her eyes are very dark, ambery brown in colour. She stands at about 5'8", and she holds herself with a somewhat formal, though not rigid, posture. She has an athletic build, and has a fair bit of muscle - which sometimes surprises people. Viv has a medium dark skin tone, a somewhat defined jawline and high cheekbones. She has the Beornen symbol on her left upper arm.
When she's not wearing the Beornen robes - which are usually only required for rituals and specific occasions anyway - she tends to wear an aqua blue, flowery halter dress with a silvery shawl over it.

Personality: Warm and friendly, Vivianna is perhaps not one would expect if they were to find out she is part of the Beornen. She can be a little shy, though, and doesn't exhibit a lot of confidence. She likes talking to others, but often takes a backseat in conversations. Viv is a good listener, though, and tries to give good advice. She's deeply loyal and trusting with the Beornen and the deity they worship, seeing the benefits far more than anything that others would consider downsides. Going into town, though, is always something she enjoys doing. She can be a bit forgetful and disorganised, though, often losing track of things and either worrying about objects until they turn up again or she forgets about them.

Short Bio: Vivianna's mother was a Beornen, but her father wasn't. They decided to raise her away from the Beornen, until she was old enough to be accepted into the Beornen - 18 - and she was allowed the choice to decide if she even wanted to join. She was presented with the facts, and chose to join. Since her mother was the previous Artefact Archivist, she took over after her mother died two years ago. Her father is still alive, living in Ashenthorne, and has been sworn to secrecy - she still gets to visit him whenever she wants to, of course, but she lives in the settlement in the forest.

Appearance: Alex has short black hair, although this is hidden by his Beornen robe, he has brown eyes. He's 5'6" tall and tends to stand/sit up straight almost all the time. He has quite the athletic build, and is quite physically strong. His jawline is quite smooth, and his skin is quite pale due to rarely leaving the forest. He has the Beornen symbol on both his upper arms, and has a Beornen symbol on his chest to symbolize his leadership. Even when not wearing his Beornen robe, he wears a blue robe with golden highlights like he'd wear the Beornen robe.

Personality: Light-hearted but also serious, he tends to be easy to make jokes with, but when he needs to be serious he can become a no nonsense leader in an instant. He is very outgoing and also likes to sing a song about the cult if anyone happened to be foolish enough to wonder nearby, which is a mere distraction for the rest of the cult to grab them, but he enjoys the singing more than you'd think he would. He's also quite commanding but trusts all of the other Beornen, including the other 4 important members whom he trusts deeply. He is devoted to making sure that the deity is pleased, and tends to sacrifice more people during the week than needed with the end goal of keeping the deity pleased for an eternity. He's almost never gone into town, instead focusing on keeping the cult in order as well as recieving visions from the deity.

Short Bio: Both of his parents were Beornen, so he was raised in the settlement for his entire life. At first he was simply there to entertain others and keep the morale high, as well as feed the prisoners in the settlement his "famous" beetle juice, which was enough to keep them sustained but not enough for them to have the energy to fight back, which was important when taking one to be sacrificed. As he got older, he became The Vice and got to help out the cult even more by going on supply runs, as well as recieving his first visions on the deity, which he was very honoured to get. One day though, his life was changed when he was summoned by the previous Cult Leader and told that he had recieved a vision from the deity: he had been chosen to become the next Cult Leader, and after hearing that he thanked the deity for placing its trust in him, and after being branded with the mark of the Beornen Leader on his chest, the previous Leader stepped down and he finally became the new Leader. In celebration, they sacrificed someone and every week since he has sacrificed one or two people to keep the deity pleased, making absolutely certain that they never missed a week.

Appearance: Ryker is a lean, dark, tall man with a shaggy head of dark hair flecked with grey, and in a pale stern face a pair of keen grey eyes. He stands at exactly six feet with many scars riddling his body. A particuraily deep one running down his left eye and has the branded symbol of the Beornen right below the right collar bone.

Personality: Ryker is most known for his stoic and phlegmatic way of life. He tends to be very focused on the job at hand and almost impossible to have a natural flowing conversation with someone non related to his duties. That being said,
now that he's in the vice position, he is no longer ambitious. He has no desire to rise further but nor does he wish to fall in rank.
Ryker if anything is adaptable.

Short Bio: Ryker's mother was a born Beornen. She lived and unfortunately died for this cult. His father was an outsider.
A sperm donor as his grandparents so lovingly puts it. Though to Ryker, it really seemed like his mother wished to go with him. He was only a mere thirteen when she passed from "unknown" reasons. Though he was sure it was intentional as she was talking about leaving. Ryker has an older sister and a younger half sibling he has never met. It was when he was seventeen that his older sister disappeared without a trace. Some say she was killed by a wild animal, others think she ran away. The truth has never come to light. When he became an adult, to prove his loyalty to the clan he was branded with the symbol on his chest. Never to be removed. It wasnt long after, that progress was shown and he was moved into the Vice position at the age of twenty-six.

Appearance: MJ stands about five foot and nine inches. She has thick brown hair that slides down just past the middle of her back and deep green eyes that could match the evergreen forest. She has a slim and agile build which she heavily maintains through rigorous exercise, but lacks muscle definition and strength. She has a huge wrap around scar on her right ankle from a childhood accident that almost looks like a burn and an octopus tattoo on her left hip.

Personality: Maze is a friendly and likeable person with a dark and mysterious history she doesn't talk about. She has the people skills everyone wished they had and the ability to befriend even the unfriendliest of people. She is extremely laid back and goes with the flow while also maintaining her own way of life and walking her own path. Maze is an extremely hard worker but doesn't thrive to be more than everyone else. Her goals in life are simply to live comfortably and waste her free time away painting of just being in nature.

Short Bio: Maze was born and raised in Ashenthorne. She left home at about 15 to get away from her toxic family and discover herself. She returned at twenty three with new self worth and independence. She has been working at the coffee house during the day and the bar at night for the past three years.

Appearance: Cordelia is a very tall slender woman standing at about 5'11. She has short black hair She is very pale and has very few blemishes and she intends to keep it that way. Cordelia dresses in a very formal put-together way, choosing to dress in a very fashionable, elegant way despite her wooded surroundings. Cora also has a penchant for wearing stilettos so she'll be even taller. She has a tattoo of the Beornen symbol on her right shoulder blade.

Personality: Cordelia is a very charismatic woman, she is very polite and considerate. Cora is very collected, and calm. She is organized and very meticulous with how she files things, if anything is missing or out of place she'll know almost immediately. Cora is also very prideful and confident, her image is very important to her and she will do anything to maintain it. She puts forth great effort in maintaining her trust with the townsfolk. It can very difficult for Cora to ask for help and prefers to deal with her problems alone. She is also a shameless flirt and loves to tease people especially if she's close to them. Cordelia is also very interested in information and will gladly help someone out in return for a bit of gossip. Cordelia is also fiercely loyal to those she is close to and will do absolutely anything to help them. Although it is hard to get within her inner circle once you do you will have a friend for life.

Short Bio:Cora was born into the Beornen, both her mother and aunt being members, her father having run off before she was born. Cora and her aunt were inseparable and her aunt was the current rune keeper and began training Cora to take her place at a young age. When Cora was eighteen she got a tattoo of the Beornen symbol on her shoulder and the same year became the rune keeper after her aunt retired. Cora feeling curious about the town moved there when she was twenty to keep tabs on the townsfolk, as well as gather information. Due to her good organizational skills, she was put in charge of the town records and library. Cora has a secret room in her office where she keeps the Beornen files under strict lock and key. Even the filing cabinets where they are kept have fake, drawers filled with what is a bunch of gibberish. When she was twenty-five she married a man in town but a few months after the marriage he "Disappeared" and remains missing to this day.

Appearance: At 5'2, they tend to be the shortest in most company he keeps. He has pale skin with eyes a shade lighter than charcoal and short, black hair they keep messy and chopped to their jawline. They can normally be found wearing a hoodie and jeans with black boots

Personality: Most people think of them as stuck-up, due to him not speaking much and appearing focused only on how to get the right shot. This can be correct, he does overfocus on the project and would rather not speak, though he is a good listener and cares about those he works with. He is not easily scared and tends to get themself into trouble with this. They know how to bring out the best in people when it comes to the footage, and knows how to get it to the viewers in a way that will help interest grow. He can be viewed as too emotional, easily triggered, and has a hard time vocalizing how he feels or what they think.

Short Bio: Aehrs has always been inquisitive from a young age, which has often gotten them in trouble. They were born Emily Reign Bryant in a small, unusual town that was practically forgotten. Their curiosity knew no bounds, and eventually led to him coming out. He ran away with his girlfriend at 16 because the town members had been threatening to lynch them and lived on the streets, making simple videos on a phone they had found. At 17, their girlfriend left them and returned to the town, and they made their first attempt on their life. Their work was found and posted by one of the nurses, and he was assisted back into school by a patreon who thought he was talented. He paid for their college and assisted them into their role as a researcher.

Other: They are very soft-spoken, their voice hardly being able to be heard most of the time. They tend to stutter when over-emotional. While it's somewhat obvious they weren't born male, they refuse to respond to anything but and don't tell people he's trans.

Appearance: Alzedore is your classic old man, he has a long white/grey beard, he wears purple wizard robes and a purple wizard hat and tends to be hunched forward a lot. He's 6'0" tall, although time has made him seem shorter than he actually is. Under his hat he has grey hair, and his eyes are blue.

Personality: Alzedore is an old man who loves magic. Not the "pick a card" type of magic, but actual magic. People tend to call him senile and brush him off when he claims that he can use actual magic, and those that watch to humour him see that he is indeed just going crazy in his old age. Being old, he's also very wise on many subjects, however if it's anything related to magic he seems to know everything you could ever want (and not want) to know. Mystical creatures, strange phenomenon's and the like are also very strong suits for him. He tends to walk the streets of Ashenthorne talking to anyone who shows a slight interest in what he knows, although people tend to just ask him questions they want to know instead of having a full on conversation with him.

Short Bio: Alzedore spent most, if not all of his life in Ashenthorne. He grew up with a very typical lifestyle. His family weren't rich or poor, so he was well off for his childhood. Ever since he was young, he started reading books and loved them. These books tended to be those books that contain lots of information that most people wouldn't care to read about, however his love for reading grew even more when he started reading books on magic. As he read a lot, he did very well in school, and he got himself a well paying job. Every day, he would read a book or two, and eventually he started spending a lot of his time in the library. When he wasn't at work or sleeping, he would be in the library, reading. He read all kinds of books, and by the time he had retired from his job, he had read every book that the library had to offer. When that happened, he turned back to reading his childhood classics, as well as more books about magic. Obsessed with magic now, he decided that as he had already read every other book, he'd import books on magic to read. When he hit the age of 100, he donated all of his books to the library, and now encourages kids to read a lot as they pass him by while he's on a walk or sitting on a bench.
