Description: An American man with green eyes and dark blonde, short-cropped hair.
Personality: Malcolm is very understanding and kind, which makes him a good veterinarian. However, he tends to be funny and mischievous when he wants to. At times, he tends to be a little immature and makes a lot of jokes at the wrong times. He struggles with major depressive disorder.

History: He was born and raised in Nebraska. His mother died when he was young, so he was mainly raised by his father. Malcolm developed major depressive disorder when he was 12 years old after his younger brother died of cancer. Luckily, he was able to make it through school and even went onto a veterinarian program to earn his Ph.D. He learned about AWAR from a referral within the program and was quickly accepted into the position on the island.

History: He was born in the wild and taken by humans when he was a cub. Aurelio escaped at one point and had to be captured by the local zoo, who was kind enough to call the rescue to get him. He's lived here for 4 years, and he's in the enclosure.

Personality: Beatrix is tireless and tough yet over-sensitive. On top of this, she's assertive and controlling, tending to boss around the others.
History: She was born into a residence, living with humans as her owner and being treated like a housecat. Unfortunately, Trix was still young and viciously attacked one of their children. On the news, she was found by a rescue worker and taken to the island for recovery. She was in the kennel for the first year, but for the past year, she's been in the enclosure.

History: She was surrendered 1 year ago to AWAR after the aquarium she lived in went bankrupt. Everly was one of the lucky ones. Almost five months ago, Harper was brought to AWAR and she immediately felt a motherly bond.

Personality: Cecelia is gentle yet lively and courageous, bravely going up to any animals. She's very extroverted, but she tends to be big-headed. She really misses her mother and she doesn't understand why she wheezes, but she won't let her grief or her respiratory system stop her from having fun. She's still very young, so she tends to cling to the human caretaker employees and likes to cuddle with them when she's calm.

History: She was born and raised in a zoo, her first memories being with her mother. When she was 3 months old, the two of them got very sick and her mother passed away. The zoo tried everything they could, extending from medications to IV treatments, but she never recovered properly. The rescue was called, and Cece was taken. She's slightly recovered, but she still has a little wheeze and needs to be seen by the veterinarian.
