...these cats lived in peace together. They were united, known as Laurelclan.

After many moons and a new leader, cats were unhappy with the change of leadership. They felt that the new leader was too harsh and not as kind as the previous one. A revolt was started, and the clan split into two sides. One side wanted to follow the current leader, and the other side wanted to vote for a different leader.

A civil war within the clan started, and blood was shed. A decision was made for the clan to fully separate into the different camps and create two new clans.

Many more generations have passed since this war. Both of the clans, Shoreclan and Summitclan, were thriving. There had been peace for a long time, and cats remained in their own territory. At least... until now. 1 moon ago, a battle during a gathering at the Old Sycamore broke out. Starclan gave the two clans an ultimatum: try to make peace for the final time or make a third clan act as a barrier between them.

For the two clans, peace was not an option. Now Sycamoreclan stands in the way and protects the peace. The peace has lasted so far and the cats suspect nothing until 3 cats from each of the 3 clans receive a message from Starclan. They aren't sure what to make of it, but it will change everything in this new life all of them have built. Will they be able to save everyone from destruction?

Personality; Shellstar is compassionate and loving, opening her heart to all of her clan. She's also very fond of the Sycamoreclan cats, especially because some of them used to be her own members. However, she doesn't understand the seemingly eternal feud between Shoreclan and Summitclan, which was mainly created by Ripplestar (now Ripplefang) and Rabbitstar. Now that both of them are no longer involved, and Shellstar hopes to make amends.

History; She was born and raised as a rogue named Shelly, living with her mother Turtle. They lived higher up on the beach, and she had a peaceful life. Eventually, she became good friends with a she-cat named Glass and the two hung out with each other almost every single day. Turtle suddenly got sick, and her daughter struggled to cure her disease. Glass never came around anymore, and Shelly has held a grudge against her despite how strong her feelings are. Sadly, Turtle passed away. One night Shelly dreamed of a starry cat who told her to travel further down the beach and find a group of cats that would take her in. Shoreclan was in turmoil, and when she told them of the starry cat they knew she was meant to be someone special.

Personality; Scorchpaw is smart and cunning, able to figure out most problems a regular apprentice would have. However, he tends to be dramatic and sensitive. Even if he knows the answer, he enjoys stirring up drama and creating more problems to fix.

History; He's had a fairly normal life, mainly sticking up for Echopaw. The young tom looks up to Ghostbreeze, but often gets intimidated by him. At the Old Sycamore Battle, Scorchpaw caused a lot of fights. However, his inexperience and ignorance earned him a lot of injuries and scars. He's still slowly healing and hopes to continue training.

Personality; He's very compassionate and kind, wanting the best for those he cares about. Ripplefang is watchful of everything that goes on and often knows each cat personally, always being friendly. However, he feels caught in the middle now that both Summitclan and Shoreclan hate him. Some cats are still hostile to him although he lives in Sycamoreclan.

History; As a young warrior, Ripplefang was curious about Summitclan and often visited the forest to see what the cats were like. One time, he met a she-cat named Mapleglow and became attracted to her. They met many more times and eventually became mates. A few moons after, they had two kits when he was 21 moons old. He soon became the leader of Shoreclan. Due to the Summitclan leader's rules, Ripplefang was unable to go into the camp and meet his kits. Mapleglow was forced to stay in the camp to care for her kits, although Thornkit was taken by an eagle after wandering out of the nursery. When Nettlefern became an apprentice, Mapleglow returned to her regular warrior duties and fell off a cliff. However, Ripplefang believes that she was pushed and argued with the Summitclan leader.

Ripplefang was the one who started the Old Sycamore Battle. Cats from both clans were disappearing, including Nettlefern. Shoreclan and Summitclan were at the Old Sycamore for the gathering when he went insane, ordering his cats to attack. In the midst of the battle, the missing cats returned with a message. Nettlefern was killed despite this message of peace. Sycamoreclan was created on a field of blood, and he was held prisoner in Shoreclan for 1 moon. He's a new warrior of Sycamoreclan, and he's trying to create a new life.

Personality; Although she's smaller than most cats, Littlekit has a large amount of love to hold. She cares deeply for her loved ones, especially her mother Creamflower.

History; She was born to a loner mother, and she didn't know her father. As the youngest of the litter, Littlekit always felt daunted and undermined by her sister Blossom. About 3 moons ago, a fire broke out in the forest and she was saved by a Shoreclan patrol. Littlekit was taken in by Creamflower and clung to her new mother. After the Old Sycamore Battle, they moved to Sycamoreclan.

Personality; Onyxkit loves playing with others, and he isn't afraid to speak up. However, he struggles with making romantic interactions and isn't sure how love works. He can tend to be bossy, and he has a short temper. The simplest threat or remark can upset him, and he often takes things way out of context.
History; He was the oldest of the litter, but his mother was unable to care for them and left them under a bramble thicket. Only he and 1 of his siblings made it through leaf-bare, but that made it easier for their mother to care for them as well. Their mother continued to bring food to them, and Onyxkit wandered off with her. When he came back, his sibling was gone and there was the scent of clan cats. He continued to search for him and came across Summitclan, so in the confusion, he was taken to the nursery to remain in their camp.
After the Old Sycamore Battle, Onyxkit thinks he saw his sibling there and is determined to find which clan they're in once he's older enough. He's been trying to befriend various apprentices in the hopes that they'll take him to explore the territory with them.

Personality; Stormpaw is impressionable yet hardworking, wanting to be like their father. They see Lightningwolf as a large role model and have dedicated their life to becoming a good warrior similar to him. However, they tend to be very solemn and serious most of the time due to this. Stormpaw never considered having fun or making jokes like the other apprentices.

History; They were born and raised in Summitclan, proud to be a member. Stormpaw's parents split apart, and they became closer to Lightningwolf in the process. When they first became an apprentice, they came out as non-binary and were thankfully accepted by the majority of the clan.

Description: Opalpaw has willowy build and long silky grey and white fur. She has striking greens eyes that almost always have a sort of far away, out of focus look to them. (Opalpaw is blind. In bright day light she can sometimes sense movement and drastic light changes but that’s about it.)
Personality: She’s a spunky little she cat with a sarcastic sense of humor and a bit too much pride. She doesn’t like to let her disability get the best of her and tries to stay optimistic. She's not a quitter and is often to stubborn to admit when she needs help but at the same time does enjoy working in a team. She can be bossy and somewhat of a know it all but means well. Thanks to her young age, Opalpaw tends to be a bit naive, blindly believing what ever authority figures tell her and while aloof around fellow apprentices to full warriors she’s a total pushover.
Background: The clan was somewhat surprised when Shellheart announced that she was going to have the kits of the recently deceased Warblersong, a cat nobody even thought she was close to. Because of this some believe he was just a cover up and that she might have been having an affair with someone outside shoreclan. Shellheart denied all of these claim and eventually the matter was mostly forgotten after the birth of her kit. When Opalkit was very young, the medicine cat discovered she was blind. Her mother, somewhat of a perfectionist, was mortified and believed this to be some kind of punishment from starclan and because of this did her best to have as little to do with Opalkit as possible. This only made the young kitten more determined to win her mother's attention, constantly trying to sneak of the nursery to hunt, fighting off ‘intruders’ (aka, any unfamiliar cat the entered the nursery), trying to climb anything and everything, that sort of stuff. Still as Opalkit neared apprenticeship and was no longer reliant on her mother Shaleheart left the clans to find some twolegs and become a kitty pet. Before she left gave one last piece of advice, that if Opalpaw was ever in trouble to seek out Palejaw of summit clan. She’s still not quiet sure what this means but has been to caught up in her duty’s as a warrior to look into it.
Ever since the battle at the sycamore and the creation of Sycamore clan, Opalblossom seems to have become a lot more sullen. She’s been keeping to herself a lot more and has had some trouble coping with the recent changes to her clan, though she try’s to but on a brave face. In truth, Opalblossom’s trust in starclan has been sorely broken. She’s angry at them for testing the clan in ways she demes unfair and unwilling to burden those around her with her misgiving she’s been keeping these thoughts to herself, allow her resentment and fear to resentment to grow.
