Growing up in a group, surrounded by other cats who help and protect her, has been a double-edged sword in Franciska's
development. They found her several moons ago as a young kitten, abandoned by humans not far from a nearly-forgotten dirt road.
As far as she is concerned, the other cats in her group are her family. No doubt she would have starved or been eaten if they had
not adopted her into their ranks, but she has also never known the struggle for survival that so many of her companions have. She
was never left in danger when she was young, and now that she is older, she is learning to hunt and fight under the guidance of the
adults around her. Franciska has never needed to scavenge, or to teach herself how to survive. Both skill and safety have been
handed to her at the price of naivete. As such, she does not have a terribly realistic understanding of just how dangerous the
wilderness can be. All she has is her youthful innocence, which she possesses in abundance. Franciska is an energetic youngster,
brimming with enthusiasm to discover the wonders of the world around her. She tries very hard to pull her own weight to support
the group, relying on routine to go about her well-scheduled business. Franciska makes a point to remain optimistic. She believes
that all of her group mates truly love one another like family, would never hurt each other, and will always be there for each
other, so she has never questioned that not everyone is as whole-heartedly dedicated to the group's well-being as she is. Losing the
home where she spent most of her kithood has been very difficult, but at least everyone has each other, right?
