    born to a litter of seven, swift was the smallest and the one labeled for the
    least potential from the get-go. as much as the police staff hugged on her
    and coddled her, they didn't ever expect her to move further in her training
    as a puppy when she failed drive tests around toys, bite suits, etc. she did not recover with ease from startling, nor did she handle her mother's corrections well. she got attached to the humans and whined the most of any puppy when they left. other than that, she's always been somewhat easy-going. once she got a little older into her puppy years the handlers tried to push her further to see if they could get anything from her. highly food motivated, she showed potential in obedience work, but certainly not the demanding job of a k-9. though she came from strong and successful lineage, she was somewhat of a "dud" in the field of work she was bred for. everyone loved her all the same, so much- in fact, that her father's handler decided to keep her as a pet. swift is a reliable friend to those she knows, but likes to have her space more than anything. she doesn't work well under pressure and her owner has used only positive training methods since she's sensitive to punishment. swift will voice her opinion wherever she sees fit, but won't push against authority as she knows her boundaries. swift has a very small group of friends and has gained her father's dislike towards the stray dogs. she's somewhat territorial and is deathly afraid of loud noises. swift's perfectly content with where she is in life and is generally chill.

    he thrives off of the positivity and encouragement of others, but
    is comfortable in silence as well. he's very down to earth, and enjoys
    keeping up with the pack news. he's not nosy to the point of searching
    for gossip, but he will sit and listen to just about anyone. this dog
    is realistic in his expectations and won't waste his time with his head
    in the clouds. romeo has trained himself over the years to have a
    patient heart. always looking for ways to stay busy. romeo tries to be
    useful to the pack, and his loyalty and hard-working personality
    has served him well as he was chosen to be the beta of the strays' pack.
    truthfully, romeo doesn't have much of a problem with the house dogs and
    wants to understand them better. he hopes that someday the alphas will let
    go of their differences and join the packs together. though he wishes the best for everyone, he will not go out of his way to directly disrespect or betray the strays. he stays loyal to them and his actions are almost always decided upon with his loved ones in mind. he will do what it takes to keep his beta ranking, but is no longer under the stress of trying to prove himself. he spent the first few years of his life being tossed in and out of shelters before deciding the street life was better for him. he is extremely organized and if things aren't going according to plan romeo can be susceptible to stress.

    diver is uncomfortable in silence and can talk anyone's ears
    off. his best friend is chanel, and he has a larger group of acquaintances than he can count. though he doesn't always want to be in the spotlight, gets jealous easily around other dogs. he is quick on his feet and has a strange knack for collecting items that he finds. luckily enough, he is a sensible dog and knows when to shut his mouth around those who could cause serious damage. diver survived a slew of health conditions as a puppy and is resilient to pain, so much that he doesn't know when he's gotten hurt. his adrenaline is at a constant high and he craves adventure, to be off-leash and free. diver just can't bring himself escape his home since he loves his humans so much. diver will do just about anything his owners ask of him and knows upwards of a hundred tricks, which he just can't resist showing off to the other house dogs. not many are impressed by these useless talents, but he enjoys showing them off. he's vibrant and is very entertaining to be around. this dog is easily flattered by praise, diver will also do anything to keep his friends and family safe. he's confident in himself and will uplift others at any given chance, even if he can just make them laugh. though he won't actively seek out conflict, he has developed a bad habit of gossiping. the male has good intentions, but keeping up with chanel and the neighborhood drama is just too entertaining to let go of.
