seaclan and thistleclan have been at each other throats since the beginning, things haven't changed. when a prophecy is given to the medicine cats they must work together or their home will be destroyed. can the two neighboring clans get along and help each other, or kill each other in the process?

seaclan

for moons cats have lived among the rocks by the sea, as time went on the cats with sleeker pelts couldn't flourish in the climate they were given, they moved to the woods near the sea and lives a more fulfilling life. the cats with thicker pelts stayed by the sea and could withstand the cold, biting wind. for moons seaclan and thistleclan have been at war, it all started when thistleclan ran out of food, they came to seaclan and begged for something to help them survive, seaclan turned up their nose to them and since then they've been at war.

thistleclan
moons and moons ago, cats migrated to live in the misty forest by the sea. their sleek pelts did not stand a chance against the howling wind of the ocean just outside the cliffs protecting the forest. once the cats moved from the open air of the sea, the clan thrived. just outside of the forest, lived the cats with thicker pelts to survive the harsh, cold air of the sea. they dawned the name seaclan and thus became thistleclan's neighbors. the differences between them fostered hate towards one another. ever since the first battle between them regarding food shortages, the clans have been at each other's throats ever since.

seaclan territory
the camp: directly next to the ocean lies a dip into the ground. a large pit filled with sand and surrounded by rocks protect the cats from the harsh wind of the sea. the rocks around the pit have small, deep holes -- these are used for shelter from the rain. these caves are used for dens. moss is retrieved deep into seaclan territory near the border of thistleclan where it grows the thickest

stoney river: a brisk walk from the camp leads to the stoney river. this is a freshwater river with a fast current that leads into the ocean. large stepping stones lie all throughout the river allow for easy fishing through the seaclan territory. if a cat padded down the side of it, it would lead all the way to thistleclan borders where it continues.

the shore: this long strip of land is home to prime hunting grounds for seaclan. cats here have grown used to eating crabs. the shore can be dangerous during storms where the tide goes out much farther.

the overlook: past the camp lies a steep hill. the steep hill filled with sand and rocks, once climbed, looks high up over the camp and whole ocean. just behind the overlook is a small area of forest land. just ahead of that is the border to thistleclan.

thistleclan territory:
the camp: deep into the forest lies a hill. once climbed, cats are able to leap past a boulder and land in a small clearing surrounded by huge walls of cliffs. boulders completely enshrouding the camp, plants grow at the bottom of the small pit. brambles and ferns are used to make dens for the various cats of the clan.

the clearing: a brisk walk from the camp lies a huge meadow of flowers and tall grass. mice, birds, and garden snakes all lie here and is one of the most plentiful places of hunting for the cats of thistleclan.

the fallen oak: past the clearing is a huge, tall tree that had fallen amidst the other trees. around this area, the trees are thick with foliage which makes it hard for the sun to penetrate to the ground below. hunting here requires great skill due to the lack of light.

the waterfall: on the very edge of the thistleclan's territory lies the waterfall. hidden amongst rocks and trees lies a small waterfall that attracts many small creatures. this area ia known to be dangerous to kits and new apprentices due to how fast the flow of the waterfall is. the end of the waterfall is the end of the stoney river that flows through thistleclan's territory. however, the river is surrounded by huge creatures like steer and moose, so thistleclan cats do not hunt along the rivern through the territory excluding the waterfall.
