|«weston high school is located near the coast of california in a town called adair. adair is a fairly small town and everyone knows their neighbors and their neighbors’ neighbors. not a lot has happened in adair that was particularly memorable making most people after high school leave to go follow their dreams, but they somehow always end up back in the quaint town.
«most parents like to believe that all their kids are friends, but all the students know that’s definitely not the case. all these kids grew up together. so if you’re new… good luck. these students are all divided into certain cliques, and that’s how it’s always been.|

family/history valentino was born to the dominguez family on june 13 to rafael del rio (puerto rican) and vanessa dominguez (venezuelan), with a sister named marisol (18) and two younger twin brothers named adrían and javier (15). they immigrated from venezuela when valentino was 9 to the u.s. and rarely visit venezuela as much as they do to puerto rico due to the danger the country is in at the moment. although the del rio family was a little poor, they always managed to make the most of their situation and every day was nothing far from being a fiesta. valentino will always consider himself lucky to have been raised by such a happy, loving family. he has recently moved from miami and is starting his first year here. he isn't quite used to the small town environment, so he's doing his best to not step on anyone's toes and make friends with the hispanics and soccer players at least.

personality as expected from a del rio, valentino is one of the most friendliest, easygoing people you will ever meet. it's rare to find someone who dislikes him and even then it's usually purely from jealousy. valentino is extremely extroverted and fun to be around. growing up with a love for dancing and music, you can often find him strumming random songs on his guitar. valentino is a very goofy and reliable person and is extremely loyal to those he loves. he is also extremely open minded and understanding and spends most of his time figuring those around him out. he has a huge heart and even if you were to do him wrong he's rather figure out what's causing you to act that way and try and help you rather than get angry. he can get his feelings hurt pretty easily but will never show it, since valentino is an expert at hiding his feelings. valentino is a very fast paced spontaneous person and is always moving on to the next thing. he rarely is able to follow through with projects or commitments unless he's made a promise to somebody and is truly a free spirit. valentino is also known to be very patient and good with kids.
