The four clans within The Forest of The Blue Willow have been living in relative peace for centuries, side by side; DeerClan, KestrelClan, BatClan, and AdderClan. However, there is a new threat working its way into the woods -- The Dark Forest. Only the cats that have been contacted by the Dark Forest know of what is truly going on, but StarClan is beginning to walk in other cat’s dreams, in fear of a new rebellion from the Dark Forest. They’re telling cats to watch their clanmates, keep an eye out for any suspicious behavior. Cats are beginning to have suspicions, but no one wants to say anything during their waking hours. Each half is reserved to their own secrecies in fear of the other side finding out their plans. An omen is currently being crafted by StarClan to be delivered to one of the clan cats detailing what is to come…

Short Description: Silver with a black tabby pattern and dark, pale green eyes
Appearance: She has white, silvery fur that is sleek and covered in black tabby spots, leading to her tail with black rings and a black tip. Her eyes are a pale green, darkening in times of anger or anguish. Her head is small and angular, leading to a short and squarish muzzle. The ears atop her head are pointed and tall, allowing her to have very good hearing. Riverblossom’s legs are relatively short, and she has a long body, but she is still a powerful swimmer and her smaller body allows for swift and agile movements.
Personality: Riverblossom is a big personality packed into a small body. She is excitable, bubbly, friendly, and an overall happy cat. She takes pride in lifting others’ spirits and ensuring her clanmates are okay, always ready to lend a helping or comforting paw. She is a lively and interested cat. She finds inspiration in the world around her and gains joy from being out of camp, exploring the territory and gathering herbs. She can be found following trails that have long been formed, rememorizing the pawsteps she’s taken so many times before. She has strong motherly instincts and a fierce sense of protection, wanting to keep those close to her safe at all costs. However, because of this motherly instinct, Riverblossom can have a sharp tongue and a strong sense of authority when it comes to getting things done. This can come off bossy and harsh, but intended to get things done as efficiently as possible. Lastly, even though Riverblossom is an excitable cat, she is a very pensive one as well. She goes on walks to clear her mind and gain insight on problems within her own life and with the clan. She thinks before taking action, sometimes taking a little too long to consider the options. Nonetheless, she thinks that taking the time and her sense of patience are both valuable traits -- even if they could annoy her apprentice from time to time.
Backstory: Riverblossom grew up in the clan, refusing to leave her mother’s side for as long as possible. She had little interest in exploring new places at first, preferring the warm calm of the dim nursery and her mother’s flank. But then, she met the previous medicine cat and her future mentor. The scent of herbs and the outdoors had flooded her young senses for the first time, and for the first time she left her mother’s side unprompted. She explored -- she walked over to the medicine cat and breathed in their intoxicating scent of leaves, berries, roots, and other herbs. After that, she was always trying to be in the medicine cat’s den, helping sort herbs or exercise the cats that were being treated, anything that allowed her to just be in the den. When the time came, and she reached six moons, the same medicine cat stepped up, claiming her as the next medicine cat apprentice. This is when it started, her true love of the forest and the plants it held, their healing values, and what she could use them for. She loved traveling the territory, combing for new growth of essential herbs or looking for nature’s own little tricks of surviving and stealing them as her own for the clan’s herbstore. The day her mentor passed, leaving Riverpaw to become Riverblossom, and taking on the full role of medicine cat. At first, she didn’t believe she could do it on her own, not really. She thought she needed their help, their careful guidance to get her through the difficult situations.

Short Description: Dilute calico tabby with green eyes
Appearance: Tanglestar is a dilute calico tabby with green eyes. Her pelt is a pale orange, grayish-brown, dark brown, and white with long and fluffy fur, giving her a long, feathery tail. There’s a kink in her tail, towards her tail tip, that she’s had since birth. Tanglestar’s head is round, with a short muzzle and very pointed ears. Her legs are lithe and so is her body; she is quick and powerful in battle, using her shape to her advantage. Her paws, though, are small, so she has to rely on her speed rather than dealing powerful blows.
Personality: Tanglestar is skilled with settling quarrels, leadership, and keeping pace with those around her. She attempts to keep herself dignified, almost stiff, in an attempt to continuously show her authority. A polite, curt at times, molly, she keeps other cats at a distance, only discussing serious matters with the important cats of the clan. She doesn’t want to let others in, allow them to see the softness hidden within her. To her clanmates, she is their ruthless and fearless leader, doing whatever it takes to care for and defend her clan. Within her, there’s a softer side, one buried deep that she doesn’t want anyone to be able to see, that she can’t ever allow anyone to see. Maybe a similar AdderClan warrior would be able to relate…?
Backstory: Tanglekit was born into AdderClan, a far descendent from the long-gone Adderstar, destined to become the leader of AdderClan when her time came. From a young age, she felt the pressure of the clan’s eyes on her pelt, and knew she would have to live up to their expectations. She’s supposed to be as her ancestor was, their ruthless leader -- but as she went through her training and was found not to be the physically strongest apprentice in the bunch, whispers began throughout the clan. Tanglepaw wanted to work twice as hard to prove to her clanmates tha she was what they wanted her to be, she could be that fearless leader. She began to use her size to her advantage, slipping through the paws of her larger opponents. Knowing her pelt doesn’t give her the advantage of disguise, she learned how to use the shadows of the pines to her advantage. In earning her warrior name Tanglekink, given for her tail and unexpected, upwards curve in her training success. Upon earning her final name, Tanglestar, she had received all nine of her lives from distant ancestors, not seeing the one that she had truly hoped to. It’s odd, ever since her leader ceremony, she’s been having dreams with her ancestor, Adderstar in them. When her previous clan, AdderClan, had failed, and they had to join with KestrelClan, she is still struggling with the idea of no longer being a leader of a Clan. She is still figuring out how to return to the duties of a warrior, still keeping herself strict and centered.

Short Description: Lean orange and russet tom with pale green eyes
Appearance: Firepelt is a lean and muscular orange cat with flicks of darker russet coloring throughout his pelt. His fur lightens down his haunches and towards his paws. He has long legs, and despite his muscular frame he is much more skilled at quick attacks and pouncing with his size. His face is stern, seeming a bit older or wiser than he actually his. His eyes usually make him look no-nonsense, but that isn't quite the case. He is fluffy towards his collar, very vaguely resembling a lion but that's more so his brother, Lionhowl.
Personality: Firepelt is a quiet cat, but he is smart and observant. He focuses on other people before himself usually, speaks when spoken to, and rarely talks back unless it's reasonable doubt or for the good of the clan. He has been a listener since he was a kit, listened to his mother in the nursery, his mentor as an apprentice. He didn't know this good behavior was noted, and spoken about in higher ranks. He is humble, gets pretty flustered when people talk about any of his achievements and usually shuts down the conversation swiftly or changes the subject.
Backstory: Firepelt grew up, littermates with Lionhowl. He came across his name due to the color of his pelt, like honeyed fire, with the darker red tones in the orange fur. Straight forward to understand. Although sometimes he was jealous of his brother, and the large stature and personality. The strength he held and the true loyalty to the clan. He didn't ask for the position he was put in, Firepelt had good standing among the higher ranks and a good word was passed around, they appointed him deputy after the previous deputy passed away because he was smart and patient, and would have good strategy when it came to problems. Firepelt is also a little upset, because he didn't expect this at all. He knew Lionhowl was constantly doing good and proving himself, despite the ego, and now he feels unsure about his status.
