Image
Full Name: Rueben Brooker.
Nickname: Rueben.
Age: 23.
Gender: Cismale.
Pronouns: He/Him/His.
Sexuality: Bisexual.
Appearance: His hair is dark brown, with a few wisps of white at the front, and is relatively short. His eyes are a sea blue-green colour. He stands at 6'0", and has a fairly athletic build with a fair amount of muscle. Rueben also has vitiligo, and has already heard every comment, question and 'joke' about it.

Personality: Rueben is a very private, quiet person. He does not like to socialise at all, and often keeps himself distanced from others - and will be unfriendly towards those that don't get the hint to leave him alone. He just wants to focus on his own thing, and not be distracted by anyone else. Despite his cold, unfriendly outer shell, if he is alone with his horse, Starsky, or any horse for that matter, then he'll become a much friendlier person. He is incredibly patient and hardworking, always pushing himself to try and get to the next level... at least, he used to be, until a moment a few months ago when he pushed himself too hard and took a bad fall. He's fully recovered, but is terrified to ride again, and instead sticks to just lunging or walking in-hand with Starsky.
Rueben is also a surprisingly good tutor, and can usually offer some sort of advice and coaching. His attitude while teaching is very different to how he normally is, seeming a little warmer and friendlier.

Short Bio: Rueben grew up around horses, but he didn't start learning how to ride until he was 9, mostly because he didn't have an interest in it until that age. His father was a riding instructor, and very well-liked in the riding school he worked at, while his mother is a vet. It wasn't until Rueben had also been learning to help care for the riding school's horses that he was given his own horse - Starsky - for his 18th birthday. He's been working with her and developed a close bond with Starsky for five years. However, a few months ago, while out on a cross country course that had some rather complicated elements to it, Rueben fell off Starsky badly after pushing her to complete a particularly challenging water jump. He was forced to take some time off from riding for a while, but even though he's made a full recovery, Rueben is terrified to ride again.
Rueben has been at Foxmoore for about three years. All throughout this time, as well as riding and training Starsky, he has also been occasionally teaching.

Horse: Starsky.
Riding Style: English.
Riding Discipline: Cross Country.
Other: N/A

Image
Stable Name: Starsky.
Show Name: Brightest Constellation.
Age: 7.
Gender: Mare.
Breed: Appaloosa.
Height: 15.3hh.
Personality: Much friendlier and sweeter than her owner, Starsky is eager to please and make new friends. She can settle into and adapt to new places very well. She doesn't seem to have much of a sense of danger when it comes to meeting new horses, often wanting to sniff at them and greet them without paying attention to whether or not the other horse is bad tempered. Starsky can be rather sensitive as well, though, and doesn't take well to others being mean towards her. Starsky also spooks fairly easily when it comes to things other than horses and people, though she's doing better than how she used to be when Rueben first got her. Despite this, she does surprisingly well at cross country. She also sometimes overestimates how big a jump is, and will jump higher than she needs to. Starsky also loves red apples, but hates green ones.
Riding Style/Discipline: English, mostly Cross Country.
Owner: Rueben.
Other: N/A.

Image
Full Name: Ashton Wyatt.
Nickname: Ashton, Ash.
Age: 21.
Gender: Cismale.
Pronouns: He/Him/His.
Sexuality: Bisexual.
Appearance: Ashton's hair is very dark brown in colour, and usually kept very short. His eyes are brown, with a bluish undertone to them. He stands at 6'1", and has an athletic, though somewhat toned build. His dark skin is mostly clear, though he does have a scar behind his left ear.

Personality: Generally friendly to a degree, Ashton considers first impressions to be extremely important when it comes to meeting new people. This sort of thing does, however, lead to how he'll view the other person for a long time, so he can be fairly judgemental, and adjust his attitude, depending on how he feels about another person. For the most part, though, Ashton will remain friendly and kind. He's also usually willing to lend a hand if someone needs help, since he doesn't like to see other people struggling, and it's not much of a bother to him - unless he's busy and in the middle of something else, but even so, once he's finished up, he'll offer some help anyway. Ashton can also be something of a perfectionist, often working on particular details until they're up to his standards, even if they seem fine to someone on the outside, but they do matter greatly to him. Although he's concerned about burning himself out, he does not let up on himself, wanting to prove himself.

Short Bio: Ashton started fairly late into the horse riding game, compared to when most other people start. He didn't begin lessons until he was 14, although he has had an interest in horse riding before then - it was just a case of there not being much money and his parents being unable to afford lessons for him. That was, until, both of his parents got major promotions at their respective jobs - his mother now a chief editor of a cooking magazine, and his father a marketing director. With the increase of income, there was a wait of about eight months, to ensure that everything remained well, and to allow for his parents to build a decent 'nest egg' of money, just in case. After this, though, Ashton did start having riding lessons paid for by his parents. He then took up his own job at the age of 16, to pay for them. Until, finally, at the age of 20, his parents bought him a horse, Sundance, who originally stayed at another equestrian centre, for about a year, before moving Sundance after concerns of safety and the owners being unfriendly.
Ashton and Sundance have only been at Foxmoore for about six months, so he still feels as though he has to prove his worth around there.

Horse: Sundance.
Riding Style: Western.
Riding Discipline: Reining.
Other: N/A

Image
Stable Name: Sundance.
Show Name: Daylight Dancer.
Age: 6.
Gender: Gelding
Breed: Quarter Horse cross Arabian.
Height: 15.2hh.
Personality: Sundance is a hardworking horse with a sweet temperament. He aims to please his riders, although he does sometimes have his moments where he plays up - but never to the point where he's completely disobedient. While he likes to work, he also likes to play frequently as well. Sundance does take a little while to settle into new places, and can be quite nervous around new horses, but once he's used to his new surroundings, then he quickly warms up to everyone. He's very gentle around those that are nervous as well, once he's settled. Sundance has quite the dislike for any treats like mints, his only treat he likes being carrots, but only on occasion. He does like head pats and strokes as well, and if he feels like he's not getting enough attention, then he'll attempt to rub and bump his head against the nearest human until he gets the attention he wants.
Riding Style/Discipline: Western/Reining.
Owner: Ashton.
Other: N/A.

Full Name: Winona Elise Fairweather
Nickname (if any): Winnie or Winn
Age: 20
Gender: Female
Pronouns: She/Her
Sexuality: Bisexual
Appearance: Winona has long beach blonde hair that falls down her back in wispy waves. She has bright hazel eyes, a youthful face, and a fair complexion. She is of average height and has a thin body type.

Personality (at least 5-6 sentences): Despite her fair/gentle appearance, Winona is a bold and outspoken woman. She is not afraid of speaking her mind in sharing her thoughts and opinions with others (wether that want to hear it or not). Her blunt honesty is both a blessing and a curse. On the one hand, those around her admire her ability to express herself confidently. One the other hand her bluntness can and has upset/hurt others. Sometimes her upfront comments can come off in a harsh way. However, this is not intentional. Winona is not a mean-spirited person. In fact, she cares greatly about others and strongly values the virtue of honesty. She is extroverted in nature. She loves people and feels at ease in a crowd. Winona has a hard time understanding introverted people and she experiences boredom rather easily when spending time alone. At times she can be consumed by vanity, concerning herself with her physical appearance, personal achievements, and social status. She's both a tomboy and a girly girl. She's down-to earth and has a quick wit. Winona has a knack for staying calm in stressful situations.

Short Bio:

Winona is only child that grew up an only child. Growing up, Winona greatly admired her grandmother Elise Silverman. She was a successful business woman that launched her first business project at a young age. Winona developed a strong bond with her. Elise also owned horses and rode. Winona's love for horses and riding was born the summer she spent at her grandmother's ranch. Winona would later own her own horse, Pheonix.

Horse: Pheonix
Riding Style: English
Riding Discipline (if applicable): Cross Country
Other: N/A

Image

Stable Name: Pheonix
Show Name: Angel Of Fire
Age: 7

Personality: (just a few lines) Pheonix often displays a friendly and energetic demeanor. Like his owner, Winona, her is quick to warm up to others and is very sociable. He has a deep bond with his owner and highly respect her. Although he is easy-going and playful, he is a storm to be reckoned with in competitions. He is competitive and strong-willed.

Full Name: Lowell Alexander
Nickname: Lowell, Alex, (feel free to make one up.)
Age: 20
Gender: Trans Male
Pronouns: He/Him
Sexuality: Homoflexible
Appearance: Lowell is a small, slender boy who stands at exactly 5'6". He has somewhat long hair that is bleached blond and shaved at the sides. He is fair skinned and has light freckles scattered across his nose and cheeks. Lowell's eyes are a hazel with a seemingly greyish undertone. The numbers '606' are tattooed on his right wrist in a small, but bold, black font.

Personality (at least 5-6 sentences): Lowell is a soft-spoken individual who tries to keep to himself. He admires how hard everyone works with their horses that he can often be seen giving them small smiles but walks away before they can approach. It's not that he doesn't want tk talk with them, in fact, he would love to become friends with everyone but he lacks self-confidence. Lowell finds it easier to open himself up to the horses rather than people. Lowell spends almost every minute of the day with Ace, only separating from him when they have to rest.

Short Bio: Lowell was originally born as Lillian Alexander to a prestigious banking family who's names were well-known. His mother and father, Gale and Robert, were not very supportive if his coming out. They believed that since they birthed a little girl, they should be able to keep a little girl. They were, however, pleased to find out that Lowell had shown signs in equestrian since they believed it to be a 'girly' activity. So, they paid for private lessons but held off on buying a horse. Mr. and Mrs. Alexander insisted that Lowell went into Dressage and English riding but he wanted to go into Western riding. They settled and allowed Lowell to get a beautiful horse just in case he changed his mind. Soon after, Lowell decided to bring up his thoughts on his gender but what shut out again. He protested and went behind his parent's back. They, of course, were furious. They were more worried about what it would do to their reputation so they told Lowell that they would continue to pay his equestrian expenses as long a he didn't bother them. He agreed and now lives peacefully with his beloved horse Ace. As much as he tried, he couldn't bring back up his self confidence and is now the quiet individual you see today.

Horse: Gypsy Vanner
Riding Style: Western
Riding Discipline (if applicable): Reigning

Stable Name: Ace
Show Name: The Ace of Spades
Age: 6
Gender: Gelding
Breed: Clydesdale/Gypsy Vanner Mix
Height: 18.3 hh.
Personality: Ace is a very bold horse, which is rather uncommon for the usually reserved nature of Draft Horses. The only time he is gentle is when he is with his dearly-loved owner, Lowell. Ace knows how shy and self conscious Lowell is that he doesn't act as harshly as he normally would though he will try to bring out some of the more social side Lowell has by putting him into situations with others (though only if he's comfortable with it!)
Riding Style/Discipline: Western Reigning
Owner: Lowell Alexander

brylee edith webster

Postby buckskin. » Sun Mar 15, 2020 6:25 pm

Image
    Full name Brylee Edith Webster
    Nickname Bry, Eddie
    Age 22 years
    Gender female
    Sexuality pansexual
Relationship status single, no crush (pm me)
    Nationality Australian
Ethnicity father; aboriginal - mother; irish
    Height 5'6
    Discipline show jumping
    Level 1.20m - 1.30m

    Personality
Brylee is an affable person, she is warm and welcoming, and is always the type of person to reach out to those in need. Despite being a peacemaker and hating conflict, Brylee is undeniably tough; she stands her group and can hold her own when the time comes to where she needs to. For as long as she can remember, she has been incredible self-assured and is confident in her own mind and body, she without fail knows what she wants and is confident enough to go out and get it. Although this confidence does not correlate with the arrogance that so many others have. Brylee is sweet and gentle but has no problem in drawing the line or saying that something is too much or too little. She will always speak her mind but has the ability to express herself in a way that will not hurt the people around her, but if need be, she is not afraid to say it as it is even if it hurts someone close to herd. Many describe her as bright, bubbly and carefree with a touch of courage and adventure mixed in there too. Despite all this and her naturally confident nature, Brylee is easily shot down and discouraged from doing the things she loved and can be easily influenced by the people around her. She is a creative soul and will try her hand at anything from painting to playing instruments, but her true talent is in her writing.
    History
Born and raised in Australia, Brylee grew up with in an equestrian orientated home, her father trained dressage horses and her mother show jumped successfully for many years until she suffered from a bad fall and retired from riding professionally. Brylee's first pony was Buddy, a 23 year old Welsh mix, he was the perfect gentleman on the lead and was with her for all her firsts from pony club days to cross country. Once off the lead, Buddy remained a gentleman but made sure he let the little girl know when something wasn't right and to this day, Brylee believes that the tough-love treatment offered by the grey pony made her into the soft and considerate rider that she is today. Brylee started school at five and from the first day, she fell in love with writing; every day, all day, all she wanted to do was write her stories and ride the horses. All her life she has been confident in what she wants to do, both ride and write professionally but by the time she was sixteen, the Show Jumping circuit had taken priority.

    - gets complacent, childish, dopey, dependent, separation anxiety from literally any horse hes spent two minutes with
    History
born and bred for athleticism and natural ability, Atticus graded high even when being assessed with his dam. His breeder established a solid foundation, teaching manners and basic cues, such as picking up feet, since before he was weaned. This choice set him up for success in any home he went to as by the time he was placed for sale as a yearling, he was a well mannered young man (but still had plenty of spirit). Atticus found his first home not that far from Brylee at all, he was bought as a prospect with the intent to keep him intact and show him as a stallion. He was spoilt rotten and soon his owners found they could not manage him as a rising four year old. At first, Brylee's mother took pity on him. He had belonged to a friend of a friend and she had known his breeder, so she bought him for what was basically a steal, got him gelded and aimed to have him as her come back horse. She soon found that they were not compatible as a team, and Brylee took over riding him. He's been with her ever since
    Years owned 6 years, Brylee
