Dear children,

Our ancestors had the ability to harness magic from anything and everything, as time passed we
learned to advance our magic. Which meant that our children ( you guys ) were achieving
things we could only dream of. Now whilst some of our ancestors grew stronger, our magic
grew rarer. Some of our children were born without magic, they became jealous and corrupt.
Angry, they separated themselves from society and become devoted to ridding the world of
magic. If they couldn't use it, no one could. They recruited sorcerers who were consumed by
their magic and assassins to hunt the rest of us down.

As if sensing the growing threat, our powers grew stronger and stronger, aiding us in the battle
for survival. But most of our coven went into hiding - it didn't help them. In a moment of
pure anguish, sorrow and heartbreak the grand mage Azalore, cast a spell so powerful that
it twisted the fabric of time and fate. Her spell created a new form of magic that came in
the form of Guardians. These are people born stronger, faster and superior to humans. They
were created to protect the few of us left. You see a Guardian is bound to a single sorcerer,
they are unwaveringly loyal and are determined to protect their sorcerer from the assassins.
They can hear the thoughts of their bonded, they can track them down within an instant and
can communicate telepathically with their bonded. A guardian can sense their sorcerers' pain,
happiness and when the sorcerers' magic is consuming them - rotting them to the core.

We all have our Guardians, you haven't met yours yet. But if you are reading this letter it means
that the assassins are coming for you, you are no longer safe. Your Guardian is on the way, don't
fret! But you and others need to keep each other safe in the meantime.

Eawyn is most vulnerable when she uses
astral projection, the longer she is away
from her body the more damage her body
withstands. Due to this, she tries to refrain
from using it as much as her telekinesis,

Born into a rich family, eawyn had relatively
little to worry about aside from late nights
and magical powers. her parents sent her
brother to boarding school for reasons beyond
her understanding and left her at home.
When eawyn was out one night her parents
were believed to be assassinated, unsure of

Remy comes from a long line of assassins dedicated to ridding the world
of magic and protecting humans from its influence. He believes that if
you hunt enough magic, the magic will end up hunting you.

As a young member of the assassins, Remy is mature; understanding; analytical and blunt.
He thoroughly enjoys anyone’s company, no matter who they are and is always looking to
analyse a situation or scenario before he dives into headfirst battle. Remy rarely makes
impulsive or reckless decisions and will often question his superiors if he believes that there
is a better option. If it wasn’t for the intense training, high expectations and rigorous
hunting Remy probably would have had a more successful love life. It wasn’t until his parents
passed away that he started taking the assassination game seriously.

When riley’s family found out he wasn’t an assassin
but in fact a guardian they gave him away to another
family, a fact he tries to forget. As he grew up, he
managed to track down his parents and twin brother,
as a guardian he knew he had to be extremely careful
due to his original family’s assassin heritage. When
his birthparents passed away due to ‘natural cases’,
riley’s brother jeremiah, blamed him for their deaths,
ending their previously healthy relationship.

Personality. A nervous ball of anxious energy, Ray is reserved, gentle and polite. He is ambitious and reckless when there’s someone in need, even if they are just simply strangers. Due to this, he is quite naive but nevertheless stand his grounds for his beliefs and family. He is honest and caring for his close ones and will comfort them the best he can. Ray is also patient and observant, constantly checking and thinking of his options before acting but if run against the wall, he becomes impulsive and panicky.

Abilities. Ray’s main strength is what affects the eyes. He can cast illusions that can disguise himself and affect the targeted victim’s surrounding. However he can only create illusions that affect the target’s vision, the surrounding strangers will see none of his illusions. He also has a particular weird precognition, not necessarily seeing flashes of the future but flashes of the present happening elsewhere nearby that will collide with him in the near future. So for example, he’s at a restaurant and he has flashes of a waiter coming through the kitchen serving food. From these flashes, Ray can avoid getting spilt food upon himself.

Aside from that, Ray is clever for his age with many tricks that confuse the naked eye. He can easily disappear into a crowd without using his powers or create a very convincing trash can to slip into.

Weaknesses. His illusions take incredible detail and drains his energy if it lasts too long or if it’s too big. He needs constant attention for it and can target it on only a group of people or less. In his ‘precognition’, Ray needs to activate the power first before actually using it and the ability is generally overwhelming with many events occurring everywhere at the same time. Even then, the events that will affect him greatly in the near future will be the most noticeable and cause him headaches. He can only see one glimpse of an event per hour, if he pushes himself he will end up with temporary blindness. Permanent if he’s not careful. He can only se the events that occur outside of his eyesight.

In general, Ray is a weak person in battle. Besides his powers, he can’t do much else as he does not have good stamina nor strength. Although he tried, he isn’t the best in combat forms and style.

History. In a rich household, Raylan is pushed by his parents to academics. Even when he was in his mother’s womb, he was claimed to become a talented wizard and the heir to their successful company. Raylan was often pressured and provoked to keep moving, working hard day and night to the point where his hobbies are nonexistent besides reading. Before Eawyn was born, his only connection to a social life are the insects, mostly butterflies, he loves dearly throughout the household. When Eawyn came to his life, he couldn’t help but feel jealous and upset of her luckiness to have more freedom aside from him, who was sent to an elite boarding school out from even his own home town. He was studying in his dorm room when his parents were discovered and killed, Eawyn suddenly appearing and dragging him out. Since then, he stayed close to her and joined the coven, anxious to lose anymore.

Other. -After their parents’ death, Raylan is closer to Eawyn being her voice of reason but also a tad, maybe over, bit protective of her. They still butt heads but not as much as when they were children and deep down, Raylan does care and love for her dearly; wanting to keep her away from their parents’ fate even when he wasn’t the one who witnessed it firsthand.

-He loves fruits, especially mangoes and strawberries since it helps calm him down. It reminds him of his old home.

-Raylan keeps a few butterflies, mostly monarchs, in his room and around the household as his unofficial ‘familiars’. Their names most often heard are Indigo, Pacific, Isis, Lucid, and Daze.

-Although not admitting it out loud, he’s terrified of his guardian but admired her capabilities.

Personality. Snarky and sarcastic, Aaro is flirty and outgoing. He loves to tease and arrogant of his skills; Organised and efficient in his missions but has quite a sharp, silver tongue. However underneath, he is calculating and tactful, quickly thinking up 3 rough plans on the run. Given time, Aaro can actually scheme up a few clever plans with backups. He is confident, aggressive, and possessive of his things and personal space. Which makes him all the more unbearable. Despite it, though, Aaro leads his team with a strong fist but care and praise during their off time. He do appreciate them, nevertheless, and is endlessly loyal for them. Even then, Aaro is competitive and tends to lose his temper when things don't even come close to his plans; He despises failure and will do anything to make sure his plans will come true.

History. Born from parents with an insatiable thirst to climb to the top, Aaro is pushed constantly pass his limits to become their prize trophy. His mother is a high ranked government worker and his father was a retired assassin, they had a powerful grip on Aaro's life and future; Wanting him to become an admiral soldier, they threw away his freedom for harsh training. However they kept him on their strings, awarding him with strong praises and love only when he went along and succeeded his given tasks. Growing up in a strict environment, Aaro didn't have much time to find himself nor did he get a peaceful childhood; Having to mature quickly to keep up with his parents' plan but he didn't mind. It was normal for him, growing up hungry for success and pushing past his limits to go beyond his duties.

PERSONALITY ━━ usually, juniper is often referred to as a well mannered person. though, into the reality of it all- especially with table manners -what manners he is suspected to have, barely exist. he's relatively messy, whether it be from his apparel to his room- there's a fair chance that he hasn't tended to it in a week. his personal hygiene, however, is usually kept up to avoid smelling like a middle school football player, and more so to try and fit in with the crowd that he's kind of forced to blend in to. aside from his unclean lifestyle [and life, really], june does try his best to have a rather open and kind demeanor- with little to no intentions with scaring people away from him. he does know that in his own sense, he is rather dangerous. with a short temper that's really easy to set off- he will probably turn your blood into a broiling mess if you're talking to him the wrong way. though, over the years he's tended to avoid that- though there have been times when he's throat punched someone because they called him a girl. however, aside from his attempts at being a kind person, and adding on to his short temper, he is sensitive, and often times his sensitivity leads him to not knowing how to react. when he's sad, there's a chance that he may get extremely mad. when he's mad, he might start crying. when he's stressed he tends to push himself away from people rather than trying to calm down. his coping mechanisms aren't as brilliant, either. as dangerous as it is, if he's gotten himself cut (despite being a warlock) he will often leave the wound open just to mess with whatever blood does come from his body. unhealthy, yes, but that's just what it's come to. bouncing away from his unhealthy and unnecessary coping choices, he's also rather unmotivated. he has dedication, and is rather open to doing things- but once he starts it, he tends to lost motivation as quickly as you would when you walk into a math class. he's so used to having things done for him rather than him having to do things on his own. however, while that might be the case, he's loyal- and his motivation to helping his friends leaves him as selfless as his slightly selfish heart can actually allow him to be. though, in short, his self-confidence is anything but fake, and his desire to possibly marry himself in the future [if he cant find someone] is relatively soaring way above the clouds.
