this is one sour type of mare when she does not get her way or if someone other than kieran
decides to mess with her. she's been like this since she was a mere filly, her temperament so
mething that even kieran finds a bit annoying at times. she's rather high spirited and a go get
ter when it comes to working. she is far from slacking when she is working unless something m
edical is going on with her. rather mouthy and sometimes known to bite others for no good rea
son, it's best to keep this brat in her stall or out with the stallions when possible. the mare ten
ds to pick fights with other mares rather easily but does perfectly fine in a pasture with a stall
ion or gelding. while she's rather good with being lead, if it's someone other than kieran, she'll
make life a living hell for anyone that attempts to mess with her without him around.

Big Red is as his common name would suggest, big. Standing just above average at
17.2 hands tall this stallion is unmistakable with his tell-tale deep red chestnut coat,
and prominent white blaze. Big Red has warm, soulful, eyes that seem to convey a
deeper meaning than some. One of his most prized attributes would be the stallion's
confirmation. With little flaws in his build he is nearing his prime, lean and rippled
with muscle he is in great form and only continues to tone up due to his training.

As some would expect to his moniker of 'Cinna' this stally has a gentle, ooey gooey
heart- as far as Harlow is concerned that is. Cinnamon Delight at a distance is a
well-behaved equine with a level-headed demeanor. Friendly to most other horses
he isn't known for being terribly studdish, and when distracted by a mare he is eas
ily correctly with a simple click of the tongue. Big Red is easy to work with and str
ides to please his rider, the stud has found a passion in cross country and that muc
h is clear with the naked eye. That being said, despite what Harlow says, he can
have a mean streak- particularly when it comes to others being near his rider. He
has been known to be fiercely protective, and possessive, of his rider- nearing be
ing buddy sour over his partner. He is a confident stallion but past traumas have
made him wary of strangers, if you aren't Harlow going slowly- and with caution is
the best way to approach this stallion. That being said he is quicker to warm up to
males than females and when comfortable with you he's a heart throb- bring treats.

Big Red is a former High Stakes Racing Thoroughbred. Like all racing TBs he was tra
ined early on in his life and from the start had potential. He was easy to work with
and eager to please, his won a few races here and there, enough to make his worth
but at the turn of his 4th year the training doubled. He was pushed to his limits and
for his owners it paid off, he won his first ever grade 1 race only for it to crush his
spirit. The stallion faded and his performance, general health, and personality fade
d. He was sold to slaughter where Harlow then rescued him and rehabilitated him.

As a young and capable equine Edgar is full of himself. Cocky and overly confident
there are times that he has proven himself to be a handful. In his youth he still h
as yet to learn his true boundaries and is at a stage where he is testing how far h
e can push without being reprimanded. Easily distracted by mares and not so eas
ily corrected he has a long way to go to attain perfection. He is overly confident
in his abilities and his newest vice is jumping the gun over obstacles and refusing
to take direction. Despite this, after a good lunge he is becoming eager to please,
and when Harlow works him around other horses she only acquaints the youngster
with older horses who will him in his place when misbehaving It's not uncommon to
see him being ponyed behind Cinnamon Delight. His vices aside, Edgar is a sweet h
orse who is generally friendly to all, though it's been clear that you need to have y
our wits about you around this young horse as he has been known to cheekily nip. Th
at being said Edgar is still young and impressionable, he might not be the sharpest
tool in the shed but he remembers everything. Lash out at the gelding once and you
will be face with a hell-spawn every trainer fears, a spiteful & vengeful horse.

This mare has possibly one of the more desirable personalities one could ask for in
a horse. Gentle, eager to please, and generally sound proof Ember is the type of
horse you can do anything on and put anyone on. Gentle in nature this mare is fon
d of getting into simple shenanigans- such as licking the farriers and putting her h
ooves in the water trough right after you've cleaned it. When outside of an arena
Ember is easy going both with a saddle and without, so much so that she is ridden
in a bitless bridle much of the time. This mare has a motherly touch about her- sh
es the type of horse who will stand idly by as you vent to her. That being said this
mare has a one-in-a-million bond with her human, Elijah. The two are inseparable
and as a team they work nearly flawlessly. A clear love is shared between the two
and despite her gentle and easy going nature she is protective over Eljiah like a m
are would be over her foal. Though she's always taken a gentle route to her antics
she is known for herding other horses, and sometimes people, away from her ride
r as if she were cutting cattle. That being said Ember is annoyingly vocal- though

Personality: Cato is fairly quiet, and complicated to really unearth the sweeter nature he has underneath the colder external shell he presents. He likes keeping to himself most of the time, and doesn't want to be a burden on anyone else, nor does he want to bother them with any personal problems or concerns that he might have. While keeping himself bottled up is probably not the healthy thing to do, he can't help but do that anyway. He's not the friendliest person, but he's not unfriendly either - he's just rather neutral towards others, if a bit withdrawn and standoffish. He prefers to have acquaintances, rather than a circle of friends, mostly because he has never been too keen on the idea of having anyone that he truly trusts. The only exception is his sister, Amara, of course, and he is somewhat protective of her, though not overbearingly so. Personality/Bio: With a generally very calm and friendly temperament, Caesar is an excellent horse to work with. He is responsive and works hard, although he does have his occasional off days in which he'll attempt to get away with doing as little work as possible. He also shies away from jumps, or anything that looks remotely like a jump that he might be directed towards - sometimes almost violently. Caesar is also very curious of new people and horses, even if they are unfriendly, and tends to ignore the warning signs from other horses as he tries to greet them and be friendly (and sometimes it ending in him getting nipped at or kicked, which he'll be very confused by). He bonded well with Cato, loving the attention the young man gives him, as well as providing a good challenge from time to time as they train and work together. He'd probably let most others sit on his back, though, and is a trusting gelding. He prefers to follow when being taken out riding with others, just so that he can be lazy and plod along, but has the potential to also become a good leader. She knows to adjust herself according to the type of people she's around, though. Personality/Bio: Hardworking and intelligent, Bellona is a fast learner when it comes to learning new steps and directions. However, she can also be rather moody, usually for the simple reason that she's a mare - though she has never attempted to throw her rider. There have been plenty of times where she's been very difficult to work with, but with a lot of patience and encouragement, Amara has been able to make her work, and Bellona has improved on these moments greatly. She can also be stubborn and protective, especially over Amara, and is known to have a dislike for other horses and people on the first meeting, even nipping at or threatening to kick at them. She's not a violent horse, however, it just takes some good patience and figuring out what it is that she likes and dislikes before she warms up to others. While Bellona is the sort of horse to be trained alone, she could get on with a small group, as long as she is familiar and comfortable with the other horses. She doesn't take treats from other people, though she will try and swipe hay from another stable if it's in reach when she passes by. Quite often, she's had to have the amount of hay she gets restricted because she goes through it quite quickly.

luke was born in america while his australian parents were travelling around the world. he grew up in richmond, a suburb on the outskirts of sydney, australia. his parents ran a well-known australian stock horse stud and so, naturally, luke's first horse was an australian stock horse. he competed in a variety of competitions with the sturdy little gelding, though, to promote the stud's name, he often participated in campdrafting, polocrosse, team yarding and the ocassional tentpegging. however, luke's favourite discipline lay in eventing. he appreciated the clean and tidy approach, loving the required focus and precision to excecute the perfect movements. luke moved to back to america when he was ten - his parents had separated and his father had taken him to live in america with him, leaving his mother behind at the stud farm. he had barely been in america for a month when he bought his next horse, a dutch warmblood named red. luke rode him in many competitions, quickly learning that, despite his aptitude towards english riding, this horse was no fan of dressage. a few years later, luke bought soda, a belgian draft mare with an attitude as big as she was. the mare was bought for the purpose of competing in dressage and the surprisingly large horse beat any expectations he had of her. luke has decided to come to twisted oak ranch in an attempt to build upon his skills and motivate him to get off his butt and work to help him reach his goal of competing in the olympics.

kira was born and raised not far out of austin, texas. she grew up with horses and was obsessed with them from a young age. her father, david, was a horse-lover, too, and so he taught kira how to ride. however, david was a fan of english riding, believing it to be far superior to western, and so she was not exposed to any form of western riding. she struggled immensely with english riding - she was decent enough at cross country, but could not for the life of her succeed when it came to dressage and show jumping. though her father tried to remain supportive of her efforts, it was clear to her that david was disappointed that she did not have that aptitude towards english riding as he did. at the age of fifteen, kira attended her first rodeo, dragged to see the event by some of her school friends. she assumed she would hate it, just like her father did, but that was not the case. kira immediately fell in love with the style of riding and would not shut up about it for months. after lots of convincing from both her and her mother, akari, david eventually agreed for her to attend western riding lessons. unlike english riding, kira picked up the skills quickly. though her father did not entirely approve, he was happy that she was finally doing something that she enjoyed. it was no more than a year later when kira - after saving up all of her money - bought her first western-discipline horse, poison arrow, who she affectionately refers to as arrow. the pair made a great team, quickly climbing up the leaderboards and eventually reaching the top in the state for her age group. kira has maintained this position for the past few years and is hoping to improve her riding skills so that she can advance further. she has also recently bought a new horse, days of thunder (aka. thunder), in the hope that she can expand her skillset across the western disciplines
