Appearance: Standing at 6'3", the Emperor is imposing by size alone. His hair falls in dark waves, nearly skimming his broad shoulders, but he cuts it before they touch. Emperor Brungard's cold green eyes seem completely void of emotion.
Personality: Every situation, every move, the Emperor needs to seize control. He never shows a hint of emotion. Feelings are the Delrans' domain and he must rise above. Despite his calm, however, he is not a kind ruler. His claims of pure intentions are blatant lies when held up against his crimes against humanity. Freedom of speech does not exist; he is quick to silence dissenting opinions, and his political enemies are found mysteriously dead of horrid causes. His Delran implants have killed innocents, including nine-year-old children, and he did nothing.
Relationships: His son is Prince Alastair. The Emperor refuses to speak of his other family members, although clearly Alastair came from somewhere.
Strengths: Physically strong, calm under duress, annoyingly good at surviving assassination attempts
Weaknesses: Low emotional intelligence, overconfident, inflexible both physically and mentally, easily outrun by youth
Other: He personally performs the executions of rebels, 'traitors to Delra'. They are public spectacles and citizens are encouraged to cheer.

While the Emperor looks down on her for her heritage and career, Prince Alastair has managed to convince him that it'll win favor from the poor. Appearance: Alastair stands at 6'2", clearly taking after his father in size and looks. However, he is more elegantly built, and he keeps his brown hair short and well-groomed. He has the Emperor's green eyes, except much more vibrant.
He enjoys training with weaponry. With a sword or staff in his hands, the prince seems to dance, joining strength and grace in a intricate tango of death.
Personality: Alastair, like his father, locks away his emotions behind an impenetrable wall. His intentions are impossible to read. However, he has the decency to use proper manners when addressing others. He is polite and formal to everyone, from his tyrant father to homeless people on the streets. Alastair simply does not see a point in making enemies. It's impractical and can cause issues later on.
No one knows exactly how similar Alastair and his father are. He's the son of a tyrant and could very well become one. However, for the time being, he treats everyone with far more respect than his father does.
Relationships: The Prince is in an arranged marriage with Ella Brie, sanctioned by his father and others in government.
Strengths: Athletic, physically strong, a talented and elegant fighter
Weaknesses: Terrible lack of perception, bad habit of overthinking
Other: He has a 'plan' and nobody knows what it is. His fiancee has heard about it, but knows none of the details. His tendency to keep his true intentions hidden is quite frustrating for rebels wanting to spy on him.

Appearance:
Ella stands at 5'4" with some muscle tone but not enough to be obvious. Her sandy-blonde hair, of a darker variation, falls just past her shoulders and has the slightest wave to it which. Not that anyone can tell since her hair is always in some kind of practical hairstyle. The scar from the implant runs very visibly directly below her parting. Most of her features are soft, with long lashes framing warm brown eyes and a button nose, asides from her cheekbones which are high and fairly angular.
Personality:
Ella was always one of the more sensible ones amongst the young rebels, perhaps this was because she didn't have a power to bolster her confidence or because she could still vaguely remember life under the tyranny of the Emperor. Though she was trained alongside everyone else she was never particularly good in battle and preferred to use her smarts to outwit her competitors rather than any weapon. What she loved most of all was the study of medicine. She truly believes that she must make a difference, and that every innocent life is individual and precious. She could never allow any one of these to be lost, even for the greater good. She's an excellent actress, allowing her to maintain her position as a spy in Delra although becoming the Prince's bride was never in the plan and though helpful to the cause Ella isn't particularly happy about it. Though not one to explode with anger she does have the occasional stress-out. Nothing irritates her more than people who recklessly put themselves at risk of injury, except the tyrants and villains that create those risks of course.

Appearance: Atlanta is fairly tall, standing at 5'10", with a toned and athletic figure. Her brown hair is normally pulled into a ponytail, although she sometimes allows it to flow down her shoulders in its natural waves. She has stormy grey eyes, hinting at what could have been her power without the Delran implant.
Personality: Atlanta has strong beliefs about the value of teamwork. Despite the reputation of rebels being more individualistic, she aims to help the Phoenix Squad build tight bonds among one another. The Uprising will bring change on a united front. Each one of them, strong as they already are, will be stronger together.
She is highly supportive of her fellow rebels. In tough times, she's a shoulder to lean on. Her reputation for dependability is important to her - it's the core of who she is. She would sacrifice herself to protect others if the need arose.
