in stonewood city, there are two major gangs who've
been warring over territory almost as long as the city
has existed. the northside nighthawks and the south
side serpents are locked in a battle for turf, a grudge
dividing them long ago, now forgotten but the effects
are ever present. they've had an era of tentative peace
for almost a year now, but when the serpents make a
move and start taking over the seaboard, things escalate
to a level unseen. blood will fill the streets and mercy
will be scarce. bullets and blades won't be the only
weapons at play though, tooth and claw are fighting too.
for you see, in this world, vamps and werewolves are common
place, and they fight on both sides, along with the humans.

Shiloh is always the first to notice when trouble is about to start; he's constantly
scoping out his surrounding and keeping tabs on the few he actually cares about,
so if Shiloh says he's noticed something, all ears turn to him, because usually,
something's about to go down. He's a critical thinker but has a real weakness for
going with his gut and will often forget about a carefully formulated plan in favor
of what his instincts are telling him, whether that means standing his ground, or
knowing when to retreat. You'd be right to trust him; his intuition has gotten him
and others out of hot water a good many times. His composed demeanor instills
confidence in those around him, although you wouldn't be the first to suspect that
maybe it's more of a front than he lets on. In conversation, he's all enthralling eye
contact and candid snark. He's about forty-five-percent dry humor and isn't afraid
to talk back or speak up if he thinks someone is being irrational.

He tends to hang back and watch the goings on around him, he often slouches and
folds up his body to appear more inconspicuous. It's something he's been doing his
whole long life. Because of this, most outside of his own gang don't even know his
rank or influence so those who don't usually interact with him will often, under-
standably, underestimate him, and he can end up being a bit of a Dark Horse. There
is a part of Shiloh that loves to be underestimated just for the chance to prove some-
one wrong. He is, however, very good at making the most out of his height and intense
gaze when he feels the need. He'll stand up to his full height, with his wide shoulders
set back and calloused hands relaxed at his sides, his calm and easy demeanor in the
face of a fight could put doubts in anyone's head that maybe they'd picked the wrong guy to tousle with. Probably because they
can also see the dangerous glint in his eyes left over from too many years spent soaked in blood. Shiloh loves to be right and hates
to lose. He can get flustered when confronted with situations he hasn't had time to ponder over as he relies a lot on trial and error
and surveillance to assess the world around him. Although this was more of a problem when he was human and hadn't had years
upon years to observe and calculate. So when something comes as a surprise, it can be startling for him because it's so unexpected.
But he's good at faking confidence and indifference, and will recover quickly and regain his wit and poise.

He's become a bit bored with life, a bit bored with this turf war, and a bit bored of being alive for so damn long. If he can find
a way out of a situation by talking the issue through with ease, he will; but he sometimes finds himself choosing a more violent
approach simply because it's easier, and often, more exciting. So when he feels the time calls for blood, he'll spill all that needs
to be. The longer he's been alive, the harder he's found it to see the point in peace. He sees it as an unachievable goal, mostly
because no one actually wants peace. And he's starting to think that includes himself. He's being dong this for so many years -
fighting, warring, going on the attack - that it's become second nature to not care, to be ruthless, to do whatever it takes, and
honestly, he's grown to like it. It's one of the few things that gives him adrenaline anymore, that sets his soul on fire, and he's not
about to give it up for just anything; not in his cold, dead existence.

Shiloh was born in the 1840's, but he likes to think his life didn't start until he was twenty. He'd been stealing horses and doing less
than legal activity to get across country to run away from an abusive father and the empty spaces left by his long dead mother. He
ended up running into a gang of cowboys when he tried to steal the leader's horse. Expecting to get shot for his actions, instead his
life was turned upside down when the leader instead asked him if he wanted a drink. He ended up leaving his outlaw past behind
and was a cowboy for a good number of years. Shiloh was turned during the mid 1800's when he was twenty-five. He thinks. He
thinks he was twenty-five but he's not entirely sure. See, he'd had a pretty bad couple years. His twenties had started out real good,
but during his time as a cowboy he'd lost his first and second loves within the course of a few years. The group faded into non-
existence and Shiloh, utterly destroyed and a shell of anyone he might have been before, had turned once again to what he knew;
being an outlaw. One night while he was trying to lose himself in a bottle, he was approached by a man and they hit it off. But later
that night, he found out much to his shock that the guy had been a vampire and ended up turning him. He wasn't left entirely alone,
his sire did tell him the basics of what he had become and Shiloh took to it quite well. Of course, he was freaked out for a good while,
but ended up growing accustomed to his new life. Most of Shiloh's second life has been spent on the underbelly of society; involved
in criminal activity, gangs, and violence, that's where he's thrived. He grew numb to what he did soon enough, and so does well in
these kinds of realms. He's been all over the country and out of it several times, but settled twenty years ago on the East Coast,
where he joined the current climate in stonewood city. He's never been power hungry, or one for the spotlight, so he enjoys his role as
second in command and always has.

Shiloh stands at around 6 foot with a swimmer's lithe physique, slim hims and wide set shoulders. He's got softly sun-kissed skin which
contrasts off of his long, silky, and thick dark brown hair which that he let's fall half over his face most days or he keeps it pushed
back. His jaw is square, he has prominent cheek bones, a sharp, sometimes bearded but always stubbled, jawline, and his cheeks
are hollowed. He cares quite a bit about his appearance and works hard to maintain his artistically-messy aesthetic. He likes
jackets paired with muscle tees, dark-wash jeans, and boots and converse. But most importantly, eyeliner. He's almost never seen
without the rims of his eyes darkened, and honestly if he wasn't a vampire he'd probably be getting eye infections every other week
because of how rarely he takes it off. It contrasts with his hazel-green eyes and can make them look vibrant and intense. He's got a
couple of tattoos and a tongue piercing, he also has his lobes pierced and on occasion wears long, dangley earrings for nights out, but doesn't typically wear any jewelry in them.

Shiloh tends to find himself without close relationships,
but many casual ones. he's slow to trust, and quick
to distrust. if you betray him, he'll never forget. he's
loyal to those who have earned it and pays back his debts.
even if he doesn't consider them all friends, he will defend
his gang mates as if they were. he's long since given up on
romance after what happened back when he was human, and
as yet to truly recover from the trauma of losing the two
people he had loved more than anyone.

Callum had a particular talent for getting himself into sticky situations. No matter
where he is or what he's doing, too often he ends up in trouble. But even he admits
that it is no-one's fault but his own. Callum has been bored his entire life. He'll be
interested in something for a short period of time, but tire of it far too quickly. His
whole life, others have been unable to keep up with him and his ever changing wants.
He even finds himself becoming bored of people from time to time, with a handful of
exceptions. Callum was always top of his class in smarts, and he never struggles to be
the smartest person in a room. Callum is used to getting what he wants, and if someone
won't give it to him, he'll find a way to get it. Going to whatever lengths necessary to
accomplish what he wants, he's got no real limits and will push those of everyone around
him. He's ruthless in his determination and is not afraid to carve out a new path if none
already exists. He's not above using violence, not at all. violence is his first instinct.

He loves getting a reaction out of people, to rile others up, get them angry just to
see them sweat, and will poke and prod until he does. This is one of the biggest
things that regularly gets him into trouble. He'll go to get a drink and end up in a
bar fight because he couldn't resist making a snide comment about someone's mother.
He's not got the best self-control, and although he can hold himself back, he struggles
to and would rather just go full throttle with everything. Callum is never above using
his puppy dog eyes and tempting words to get someone to do what he wants. Whether
it's a companion for the night, someone to buy him a drink, or even getting someone
to betray their loved ones, Callum has some special skills in getting others to do what
he wants. He often convinces people to go past their limits. He has no shame in his
actions, and will do what he wants most of the time. He's unequivocally himself and is
outspoken and is unafraid to call out others actions. He'll be the first to call others on
their bull and will easily admit to his own flaws. However, he understands social graces
very well, and can adjust his behavior to the current situation, but usually would rather just be his uncensored self. Callum is
self-aware; he knows that he's smart and attractive and people want him to like them, and he'll use those things to his advantage.
He knows and admits to his mistakes easily, and will be the first to say he messed up. He knows his strengths and his weaknesses,
but is always looking to test them to their limits. You couldn't exactly describe Callum as loyal - or at least easily loyal - he's going
to look out for himself before anyone else. His sense of self-preservation out-weighs most situations so one should never rely on
Callum to be self-sacrificing unless you want to be sorely disappointed. That being said, if you've earned his loyalty, he's going to
stick by you through anything, defend you to anyone, and get you anywhere you need to be.

Callum is not the oldest person around usually, what with all these vampires running around. Callum was a born werewolf, pureblood
with two wereparents. He'd always been a bit too much for them to handle, so there was little protest when he upped and left at
the age of eighteen. He traveled, became involved with the wrong sorts of people, and generally did whatever he pleased; just how
Cal likes it. When he was twenty-eight, he became involved with a vampire by the name of Shiloh Fray. Although their relationship
was never serious, Callum had long wondered about hybridism. He propositioned Shiloh when he was twenty-nine to turn him into a
hybrid, and with some perfectly on-brand Callum persuasion, convinced the vampire to help him. When he awoke as a hybrid, he
was delighted with the results. He retained the ability to transform into his wolf form, and his aging seemed to stop completely.
Him and Shiloh remained friends for many years and ended up joining the Southside Serpents together. While Shiloh rose through
the ranks, Callum sat, growing bored in his role. Ten years ago, Callum betrayed the Serpents by giving up valuable and sensitive
information to the Nighthawks leader at the time. This allowed the Nighthawks to take over large portions of territory, taking many
Serpent lives with them as well. Shiloh was utterly infuriated by the action and has never forgiven Callum. Cal ended up becoming
a member of the Nighthawks officially, the leader taking his betrayal as a sign of loyalty to the Northside. And although Callum has
remained with them, his loyalties are forever to himself, and there's no telling what he might do.

Callum is about 5'10, he's broad-chested and strong, but carries a youthful look of mischief. He has dark, puppy-dog, hazel eyes
that are hard to resist and dirty blonde hair which he likes to keep fairly short and in place. He also always keeps a layer of
stubble, but rarely lets it grow out any further than that. Callum is magnetic, you're drawn to him, he walks with confidence and
swagger. He always either seems completely composed and in control, or a total and utter mess who needs to be put in a corner.
He definitely has a bad boy air around him, but most don't realize just how bad the bad is. His smile is charming and seductive, and
it's not uncommon to find him licking his lips or giving a wink to his latest interest. He has an incomplete half sleeve.
In wolf form, Callum has classic grey coloring, darker around his head and lighter on his under. He's rather tall for a wolf, a contrast
to his median human stature. His eyes are golden brown and he has dark facial coloiring.

Callum has always had a lot of difficulty making, but
more importantly, keeping friends. For good reason, Cal
has no problem betraying people he's known for years
if it means something exciting to do. If he's decided to
stick with you, and you're on his side, he'll fight tooth

could very well defend himself but you can't help just

torial over people close to him and super loyal. what
did i tell you? he's like an overgrown labrador retreiver.
bailey is from kalispell, montana. born and raised on a
family farm with nothing but acres and acres of land to
roam on. it was heaven for a young and growing were
wolf. he quickly thrived for more as he got older and
wanted to see what the rest of the country was like.
eventually fulfilling that dream and moving to the city.
this guy spends his time sipping coffee at the local cafe
and ultimately keeping to himself. a lot of people watc
hing and sits at the park. typical dog. besides his soft e
xterior and (mostly) interior, bailey knows how to contr
ol his gang. of course in times of stubborness, he does
lend a ear to his second in command. but whether he t
akes the suggestion or not really depends on the situat
ion. bailey doesn't take kindly to people challenging his
authority and will lash out, maybe in snarky comments
or you'll literally find a fist coming to break your nose.
he's extremely proud of his werewolf bloodline and his
gang. having two tattoos to symbolize them; a wolf on
the inside of his forearm after the bend of his elbow a
nd a celtic-styled hawk below the base of his neck on
his back, spreading from shoulder to shoulder. whatever
you do and whatever words come out of your mouth, m
ake sure you're not underestimating this character. he
may be a sheep in wolf's clothing but that wolf can mak
e his presence at any time, with any level of extremity.
bailey does think of himself and his physcial companion
as two different beings. never really taking care to go
on that self-discovery journey and close the gap betwee
n them to create a mutual tolerance. think twice before
you assume something is okay in one form because it ve
ry well might not be in another.

charming and seductive, ainsley has a personality that draws you forward. icy blue eyes that somehow portray a bleak softness in them. perhaps the man that he used to be during the 1920's. he doesn't have any need to become the leader of anything, not even the higher ranks. ainsley prefers the shadows, the pair of eyes behind the curtain overseeing that production goes as planned. he's loyal to his gang for the most part, meaning that if it could work he'd value his life over the others. the vampire is almost constantly dishing out his dry opinions and cracking jokes with sarcasm and a touch of dark humor. always dressed to impress, ainsley keeps up his appearance even though his common hangouts are in the slums of the city or underground vampiric nightclubs. ainsley doesn’t really care much for werewolves nor hybrids of such. the rivalry between the two rooted deep within him. he’d never mingle outside of humans or vampires, finding it quite distasteful that there are vampires who do such. not really getting what is to be understood and liked about those furry beasts, or offspring of them. he will communicate with such but it’s rather boring for him since ainsley doesn’t pursue his usual seduction and charming act. getting in bed with a dog or a mutt of one isn’t that appealing to him.

often times, in conversations, he's quite egotistical but not in a way that's too over the top. if anyone had to describe him in modern day terms, he'd be a well-dressed playboy. it's hard to make this vampire snap and you'll usually get some calm remark in return and ainsley laughing in your face. he knows he's not as old as other vampires around but he doesn't take notice to age. it never did prove anything, anyway. ainsley is often mistaken for an outgoing type of guy but he is rather quiet and would prefer to watch a room than put himself out there unnecessarily. intimacy is one way to grab this vampire's attention and convince him to set his eyes- and hands -on you. another is obviously the offer of blood, straight from the source. do both and he might just fall in love with you (not really, he's harder to get than that).

tural creatures to loving them and forming a bond. It's
all a game to such a vampire and frankly, their openness
has made it easier for him to find his next victim. All it
takes is carefully crafted seduction and charm until he
has them in his trance. Ainsley is not a man who seeks
for relationships, only flings that end up with him using
them for the only two things he cares about; bringing t
hem to his bed and drinking their blood. He is not, how
ever, immune to forming an emotional bond to someone.
