spiderstar can be described as a very straightforwards tom,
he likes to put his opinion out in the open, instead of concea
ling it. he does like to put the words of his clanmates into h
is decisions, but sometimes there are things that he thinks a
re best handled alone. spiderstar could really care less what
his clanmates do, he's often to busy talking with his deputy
about the current state of his clan, and doesn't pay attention.

spiderstar was born to heatherstrike and willowsong of leafclan. he was the first kit into leafclan, followed by his siblings. spiderkit was his parent's favourite, as instead of playing with the other kits, he often watched the apprentices train in-camp while the warriors were looking for a permanent training spot for them. spiderkit was loved by all the adult cats, but the cats his age thought he was weird and shunned him. spiderstar was often left to himself during his kithood, plain embarrassed by what he had become. when he became an apprentice, spiderstar had a talk with his mentor, a senior warrior in his clan. spiderstar learned to recognize that the safety and welfare of his clan came before any opinions of the cats in it, and that's what encouraged him to strive for the leader position.

flickerflank is a thirty-one year old tom in leafclan. he was born to stonedust
and nettlestream, two senior warriors who were nearly old enough to become elders.
since he was a kit, he has been known to be very loud and opinionated, picking up the
the nickname flickerkit the loud by the time he was two moons old. his mother
thought that flickerflank would calm down by the time he became an apprentice, but
it only got worse. then she thought the same when he became a warrior, but it never
died down. the leafclan cats have come to appreciate flickerflank's opinionated yet
honest comments.
